  • In this study, the analysis was carried out for Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) characteristics of the Cu electrodes by LIGA process. The shape of electrodes has 324 pins for the cavity of BGA(Ball Grid Array) type test socket mold. BGA test sockets are used in the inspection process of the semi-conductor I.C chip manufacturing. In the work, the machining performance for EDM of the electrodes was analyzed on dimensional accuracy and wear rate. The dimensional accuracy was measured for dimension of the pins, pitch size between the pins and the roundness of corner edge using optical measuring machine.

  • The bracket tilt among automobile parts is weld parts which construct the column assembly bracket tilt of equipments and accurate dimension after welding is more essential than weldment strength. By the way, it is insufficient that systematic study about this parts which have an importance on welding deformation. The reason is that welding deformation is complex problem with shape, size, material of parts and welding sequence, conditions etc. For reduction and removal of welding deformation, therefore, it is necessary that the security of welding deformation data and systematic examination about equipment, costs, work environment, manufacturing process etc. It is all the better that the prediction of welding deformation using simulation of welding process by FEA is supplemented. In this study, the countermeasure for this welding deformation of bracket tilt is brought up through experimental inspection before the choice of the optimum welding conditions with minimum welding deformation by simulation of welding process.

  • The traditional and still most widely used, test methods for concrete structures are destructive method, such as coring, drilling or otherwise removing part of the structure to permit visual inspection of the interior. While these methods are highly reliable, they are also time consuming and expensive, and the defects they leave behind often become focal point for deterioration. In this study, tomography by theoretical inversion method in case of elastic wave using impact-echo method among concrete non-destruction test method was made. Taken model experiments are theoretical inversion method and time domain and frequency domain test on pier test model at laboratory level. Also experiment concerning frequency domain on 3 kinds of tunnel model with I-dimension form was carried out.

  • This paper discusses the application of infra-red thermography in monitoring the robotic arc welding process, and it's potential for weld bead dimension and seam tracking control. Thermal images illustrating weld pool formation dynamics and heat distribution phenomena are digitized and their characteristics are measured. At each sampling point the maximum depth of penetration is recorded together with additional information regarding weld bead placement in relation to the seam location. Deficiencies such as incomplete penetration and lack of side wall fusion are readily identified and can be remained during the process. The technique can help an increase in productivity and weld quality by minimizing the amount of post process rework and inspection efforts needed otherwise.

4340강의 단열 전단밴드생성에 대한 유한요소해석 및 실험적 고찰 (Finite element analysis and experiment on the formation of adiabatic shear band in 4340 steel)

  • A study of adiabatic shear band formation and propagation of 4340 steel was done using the stepped speciment which was subjected to high velocity impact. The high velocity impact was performed on compression Hopkinson bar impact machine. After the controlled impact, the specimen was prepared for visual inspection. Numerical simulation was also performed with same geometrical dimension using explicit time integration finite element code. Experimental results were then compared with the numerical prediction. It was found that the numerical prediction is quite accurate, average thickness of adiabatic shear band is about $10{\mu}m$, the macro crack around shoulder is due to folding, and the deformation control ring is effective to freeze the propagation of adiabatic shear band.

콘크리트 크리프 및 건조수축에 의한 프리스트레싱 손실량 예측 (Prediction of Prestressing Losses by Concrete Creep and Shrinkage)

  • In this study, the personal-computer program was developed to predict prestressing losses containment structures of Nuclear Power Plants by concrete creep and shrinkage. This program is constituted of three parts, which are pre-processor, calculation module and post-processor. Input data for his program are : material properties of concrete, rebar, liner and duct, test results of concrete creep and shrinkage, relative humidity, dimension of containment structures, and the number of prestressing tendon related on containment structures. To obtain better results, this program was made to reflect the prestressing losses due to influence that occurred after prestressing each tendon, thus it can predict prestressing losses and allowable prestressing forces of each tendon. As a case study, this program was applied to containment structures of Youngwang 3 & 4 NPP's and analytical result was compared with test results in In-service Inspection of containment structures. From this comparison, it was proved that this program could well predict prestressing losses by concrete creep and shrinkage.

차원축소를 활용한 해외제조업체 대상 사전점검 예측 모형에 관한 연구 (Preliminary Inspection Prediction Model to select the on-Site Inspected Foreign Food Facility using Multiple Correspondence Analysis)

  • 수입식품의 수입 건수와 수입 중량이 꾸준히 증가함에 따라 식품안전사고 방지를 위한 수입식품의 안전관리가 더욱 중요해지고 있다. 식품의약품안전처는 통관단계의 수입검사와 더불어 통관 전 단계인 해외제조업소에 대한 현지실사를 시행하고 있지만 시간과 비용이 많이 소요되고 한정된 자원 등의 제약으로 데이터 기반의 수입식품 안전관리 방안이 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 현지실사 전 부적합이 예상되는 업체를 사전에 선별하는 기계학습 예측 모형을 마련하여 현지실사의 효율성을 높이고자 하였다. 이를 위해 통합식품안전정보망에 수집된 총 303,272건의 해외제조가공업소 기본정보와 2019년도부터 2022년 4월까지의 현지실사 점검정보 데이터 1,689건을 수집하였다. 해외제조가공업소의 데이터 전처리 후 해외 제조업소_코드를 활용하여 현지실사 대상 데이터만 추출하였고, 총 1,689건의 데이터와 103개의 변수로 구성되었다. 103개의 변수를 테일유(Theil-U) 지표를 기준으로 '0'인 변수들을 제거하였고, 다중대응분석(Multiple Correspondence Analysis)을 적용해 축소 후 최종적으로 49개의 특성변수를 도출하였다. 서로 다른 8개의 모델을 생성하고, 모델 학습 과정에서는 5겹 교차검증으로 과적합을 방지하고, 하이퍼파라미터를 조정하여 비교 평가하였다. 현지실사 대상업체 선별의 연구목적은 부적합 업체를 부적합이라고 판정하는 확률인 검측률(recall)을 최대화하는 것이다. 머신러닝의 다양한 알고리즘을 적용한 결과 Recall_macro, AUROC, Average PR, F1-score, 균형정확도(Balanced Accuracy)가 가장 높은 랜덤포레스트(Random Forest)모델이 가장 우수한 모형으로 평가되었다. 마지막으로 모델에 의해서 평가된 개별 인스턴스의 부적합 업체 선정 근거를 제시하기 위해 SHAP(Shapley Additive exPlanations)을 적용하고 현지실사 업체 선정 시스템에의 적용 가능성을 제시하였다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 데이터에 기반한 과학적 위험관리 모델을 통해 수입식품 관리체계의 구축으로 인력·예산 등 한정된 자원의 효율적 운영방안 마련에 기여하길 기대한다.

적응형 비접촉 형상 검사에 관한 연구 (A Study on Adaptable Non-contact Shape Inspection System)

  • 물체의 형상검사를 위한 검사 방법 가운데 광삼각법을 이용한 레이저 삼각검사 방식은 원격 비접촉식의 고정밀, 고속 측정이 가능하다는 장점이 있다. 이러한 레이저 삼각측정 방식은 평면뿐만 아니라 경사면에 위치한 홀의 길이를 측정하는데 이용하고 있다. 그러나 기존의 방식으로는 렌즈의 초점 거리가 정해져 있었으므로 한정된 영역만을 측정할 수 있다는 단점이 있었다. 이러한 문제는 CCD 카메라와 측정 대상체 사이의 거리를 변화시키는 간단한 방법으로 해결할 수 있다. 이를 원리로 좀더 효율적인 방식을 채택한 것이 가변적인 초점 거리를 갖는 줌 렌즈를 사용하는 방법이다 주 논문에서는 가변적인 초점 거리를 갖는 줌렌즈를 사용함으로써 측정 물체의 크기에 따라 렌즈 배율을 최적화하여 개선된 분해능을 갖는 형상측정 시스템을 제안하였고 정밀도의 향상을 실험적으로 실증하였다.

연면방전에 의한 폴리머애자의 자외선 발생과 열화특성 (The Characteristics of UV Generation and Aging Materials in According to Surface Discharge)

  • Recently, The diagnosis techniques of electric facilities are developed on live line. This paper describes the discharge characteristics of polymer insulator(EPDM A type). Keeping the facilities in good working order, the goal of this paper will provide the information to enable user to easily judge conditions of facilities on the spot. The performance of polymer insulator is assessed from the KS C IEC 60270 and CEA LWIWG-01(96)(Tracking Wheel Test). As the results, UV generation patterns of polymer insulator grow like a jellyfish shape follow the ramping voltage. Discharging UVs are detected at about 31.25% of breakdown voltage. Just then, dimension of UV image is about $0.84cm^{2}$. The dimension of max. UV image is about $297.4cm^{2}$ at $160kV(V_{bd})$. The position of UV generation due to surface discharge of polymer insulator is the center of insulator in the early, then moved the ground side and the last, UV image moved through the junction part of source side. Surface of aged polymer insulator is cracked and faded due to arc. UV absorption spectrum of polymer insulator are appeared the C-H bond of scissoring vib. at $1014cm^{-1}$ and C=O bond of recombination structure. Also, recombined UV absorption peak such as C-H, N-H, and O-H is detected at the $3321cm^{-1}$. Through the paper, there are inspection data which are the relations between surface discharge of polymer insulator and UV detecting image.

패턴인식 기법을 적용한 신차 제조공정 맞춤식 비젼 계측시스템 개발 (Customized Pattern-Recognition Technique using Vision Measurement System Development in New Car Manufacturing Process)

  • Measurements of the automobile manufacturers are available anywhere and anytime, directly based on the criterion of failure is measured. The maintenance of high-precision production activities is direct evidence of the fact that competitive manufacturing activities are very important in determining the success of companies to recall defective starting from raw material costs. The current manufacturing sites produce calipers and clearance gauge the degree of tool only specific. Therefore, judging the quality, including the number of errors, requires a lot of attention to the dimension failures in day-to-day measurements and measurement tasks and duties repeated in difficult situations. In this paper, we aim to develop a vehicle manufacturing plant site using each of the manufacturing processes while operating a measurement tool. We display it using the Image Processing PC-based S/W with all those visual facts by management and recorded as image information a more accurate and current situation to obtain information and share visual measurements. We carry out research on the design and development vision inspection algorithm applied for pattern-recognition techniques that can help manufacturing site quality control.
