  • The architectural space is the involuntary place where man lives and experiences, and as a 3 dimensional space through the continuous experience with the concept of 4th dimension of time, it provides the observers with the dramatic space imagery. These kinds of space experiences are experienced mentally and perceptively through the physical elements of inner and outer space of Museum, and this space imagery is created here by all the space composing elemensts of Museum. These space experiences are caused by the changing processes of the space characteristics, and the observers perceive the changes in space characteristics. These changing processes of inner and outer space, space versus space, and unit space, which are perceived by the observer, could be called as 'the transition' and the changes of the space characteristics as 'the transition characteristics'.

  • New space concept is gaining attention by the change of information and digital technology. It is called a concept of ubiquitous space which is united physical space and digital space. A united into a new space which is called ubiquitous space. It is an emerging concept of new era which is already applied in some part of our daily life the advanced. The advanced technology can help people to realize ubiquitous space including u-health care. Through analysis of characteristics of u-health care space, I am going to suggest new concept of ubiquitous space which is called u-space. It can make change of conventional health care space to vitalized new space and help people's life to be affluent.

  • A new approach to design of a discrete-time robust $H_{\infty}$ filter in finite horizon case is proposed. It is shown that robust $H_{\infty}$ filtering problem can be cast into the minimization problem of an indefinite quadratic form, which can be solved by implementing the Kalman filter defined in Krein space. The proposed filter is readily derived by simply augmenting the state space model and has the robustness property against the parameter uncertainties of a given system.

  • Digital signage takes the role of promotion, providing information, art and game as it is installed in various forms everywhere such as the road, subway and indoor space we pass through. The related researches also focus on the technology of realizing digital signage, current industrial state and prospect in most cases. On the contrary, the researches on the spaciality of digital signage is a kind of insufficient, this study was carried out based on the judgment that there is necessity of researching it in respect that the recognition of space by the people in there is different before and after digital signage is located in such space. First, in order to understand digital signage, its concept, type and kind were investigated, general theories about the spaciality were considered after that, the spaciality of digital signage was grasped by 5 factors such as hybridity, vitality, mobility, flexibility, and contingency and their characteristics were offered in this study. In its conclusion, it was appealed that the change of spatial recognition along media and continuous research are required as digital signage is the transactive space.

  • The construction of virtual indoor spaces is crucial for the development of metaverses, virtual production, and other 3D content domains. Traditional methods for creating these spaces are often cost-prohibitive and labor-intensive. To address these challenges, we present a pipeline for generating digital twins of real indoor environments from RGB-D camera-scanned data. Our pipeline synergizes space structure estimation, 3D object detection, and the inpainting of missing areas, utilizing deep learning technologies to automate the creation process. Specifically, we apply deep learning models for object recognition and area inpainting, significantly enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of virtual space construction. Our approach minimizes manual labor and reduces costs, paving the way for the creation of metaverse spaces that closely mimic real-world environments. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our deep learning applications in overcoming traditional obstacles in digital twin creation, offering high-fidelity digital replicas of indoor spaces. This advancement opens for immersive and realistic virtual content creation, showcasing the potential of deep learning in the field of virtual space construction.

  • In this paper, we proposed problem and improvement of halftoning using random space filling curve. Random space filling curve is developed as a solution for shortcoming which space filling curve has self-similarity. It is used to reduce regular pattern can be occurred in constant brightness area in order that randomness apply to scanning path. But there is a problem that some area along scanning path can show too bright result in halftoning using random space filling curve. In this paper, we analyzed cause of problem and proposed single pixel error diffusion as a solution method. This method can avoid over-accumulated error and show better result in halftoning.

  • As the digital fashion show developed through the pandemic period, this study analyzed the literature on the digital fashion show and presented basic data for the design of the metaverse fashion show space. Through keyword analysis, the flow of research was identified, and implications for space design for the metabus fashion show were derived through analysis of space, models and avatars, lighting, and communication. Through keyword analysis, it was possible to understand the conversion process of digital fashion show research in the pandemic situation. Metaverse fashion shows can express stages, avatars, and costumes that are impossible in the real world, but require design considering expressiveness. In the metaverse space, communication can be thought of as a designer's value delivery, digital marketing, and communication with customers.

  • The continuous development of digital technology has actualized ubiquitous computing, and the environment of human life has come to face changes. Prediction of the future so that human life may be prepared can be very important. A number of predictions of ubiquitous space are presented, ranging from related professional research to mass media, However, proper analyses and understanding are required to understand ubiquitous space and apply it to design. This study seeks to understand ubiquitous space through analysis of the trend in digital technology from a new perspective, to research cases, and predict the future of ubiquitous space. Human, object, and environment have been set as basic factors as the subjects smoothly exchanges various types of information in the physical space, and the trend in digital technology is analyzed. From a human-oriented perspective, the background and development trend of digital technology has been analyzed under the theme of interaction and interlace. From an object-oriented perspective, an analysis was unfolded under the theme of products' evolvement from radios to robots. From an environment-focused perspective, an analysis has been carried out under the theme of situation recognition, intrinsic factors, and integration and connectivity. By applying the analytic results, the types of studies that predict the future of ubiquitous space and generate concepts have been classified and analyzed into three different types of studies for experiment, industry, and public. In this manner, ubiquitous space has been forecasted. This study seeks a systematic analysis of the understanding of the trends in digital technology and employs a case study of ubiquitous space based on systematic analysis. In consideration of all these, this study is expected to contribute to concept generation and development by designers.
