Classification and Compensation of DC Offset Error and Scale Error in Resolver Signals

  • This study proposes a classification and compensation algorithm of two non-ideal output signals of a resolver to reduce position errors. Practically, a resolver generates position errors because of amplitude imbalance and quadrature imperfection between the two output signals of the resolver. In this study, a digital signal processor system based on a resolver-to-digital converter is used to reconstruct the two output signals of the resolver. The two output signals, "sin" and "cos," can be represented by a unit circle on the xy-plot. The classification and compensation of the errors can be obtained by using the radius and area of the circle made by the resolver signals. The method computes the integration of the areas made by the two resolver output signals to classify and compensate the error. This system cannot be applied during transient response given that the area integration during the transient state causes an error in the proposed method. The proposed method does not need any additional hardware. The experimental results verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

  • 디지털 회로 설계 방법의 하나인 Algorithmic State Machine (ASM)을 이용하여 반복운동을 하는 모터의 위치를 오차 없이 검출할 수 있는 방법에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 위하여 모터의 운동방향 변화 시 증분형 엔코더의 출력 패턴을 분석하고 이를 바탕으로 상태도 및 상태 테이블을 구성하였으며 모터의 운동방향 변화 시 정확하게 변화시점을 검출할 수 있는 디지털 회로를 설계하였다 설계된 회로의 유용성을 검증하기 위하여 시뮬레이션 및 실험을 수행하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과 모터의 운동 방향이 변화하는 모든 경우에 대해서 제안된 회로를 이용하면 오차 없이 모터의 위치를 검출할 수 있음을 입증하였다.

A Comparison of Structural Position and Exploitative Innovation Based on a Patent Citation Network of the Top 100 Digital Companies

  • Knowledge drives business innovation. However, even if companies have the same knowledge element in the business ecosystem, innovation performance varies depending on the structural position of the technical knowledge network. This study investigated whether there is a difference in exploitative innovation according to the structural position of the AI technical knowledge network. We collected patents from the top 100 digital companies registered with the US Patent Office from 2015 to 2019 and classified the companies into knowledge producer-based brokers, knowledge absorber-based brokers, knowledge absorbers, and knowledge producers from the perspective of knowledge creation and flow. The analysis results are as follows. First, a few of the top 100 digital companies disseminate, absorb, and mediate knowledge, while the majority do not. Second, exploitative innovation is the largest, in the order of knowledge producer, knowledge absorber-based broker, knowledge absorber, and knowledge producer-based broker. Finally, patents for industrial intelligence occupy a large proportion, and knowledge producers are leading exploitative innovation. Therefore, latecomers need to expand their resources and capabilities by citing patents owned by leading companies and converge with existing industries into AI-based industries.

  • As the approach close-range digital photogrammetry has a variety of merits, the application of precision requiting fields is in Increase for its scope expansion. In the meantime, in case of photographic surveying by use of films, a lot of studies on experiment analysis and theoretical forecast models about a change of the exactness as per photographing coordinates have been conducted, but experiments about approach close-range digital photogrammetry are not enough yet. In consequence, this study has made photographing respectively by changing the photographic distance, converging angle, picturing direction by use of Rollei d7 metric and d7 metric$\^$5/ that is a measurement digital camera. And also in order to minimize the errors happened at the relative orientation, we have sorted out the prototype target that the relative orientation is automatically on the programming and have calculated RMSE by carrying out the bundle adjustment. We think that such a study could be used as very important basic data necessary in deriving the optimal photographic conditions by the close-range digital photogrammetry and in judging such a degree.

  • 본 논문에서는 유연성 있는 신호처리 방법으로 디지털 로직을 컴퓨터 논리연산 명령으로 구성하여 외부에서의 입력신호에 대응하는 논리연산의 결과를 입출력 채널을 통해 외부로 출력해 줄 수 있는 드라이브에 관한 연구이다. 이는 Decoder IC Multiplexer & Demulti Plexer, 기본 로직 IC 등의 가상구현 및 BIT출력이 가능한 디지털 신호원으로서의 기능이 가능하며 일반 산업체에서 유용하게 사용될 수 있으리라 사료된다.

  • 전동기 위치 또는 속도를 측정하기 위하여 많이 사용되고 있는 증분형 엔코더의 출력신호는 고주파 디지털 신호로 PWM 인버터 등 전력용반도체 회로의 스위칭에 의하여 발생되는 전자파에 많은 영향을 받으며, 이 엔코더 출력신호에 포함한 노이즈는 일반적인 저역필터로 제거하기 힘들다. 본 논문에서는 엔코더 신호에 포함된 노이즈 성분을 완전히 제거할 수 있는 엔코더 출력신호 노이즈 제거용 디지털 필터회로를 개발하였다. 노이즈의 특성 즉 노이즈 주파수에 따라 필터내의 카운터 값 및 입력 클럭의 주파수를 쉽게 변경시킬 수 있으므로 어떤 노이즈 성분도 거의 완벽하게 노이즈를 제거할 수 있다. 시뮬레이션 및 실험을 통하여 이 디지털 필터의 성능을 확인하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 세포의 자가 치료 기능을 모사하여 복잡한 디지털 회로를 기능별 분리시킨 구조에서 회로 동작 중 발생하는 오류 위치를 빠르게 찾고 복구 시키는 알고리즘 방법을 제안한다. 디지털 회로를 각 기능별로 9가지로 분리시켜 오류 난 디지털 회로의 기능블록 위치를 빠르게 검출할 수 있게 하며 복구 시키는 방법을 제안한다. 복잡한 구조의 디지털 회로에서도 각 디지털 회로의 기능 별 위치에 대한 번호 및 좌표를 $3{\times}3$ 행렬 구조로 확대시켜 오류 위치에 대아여 검출 및 복구가 가능한 알고리즘이다.

Feasibility study of multiplexing method using digital signal encoding technique

  • Radiation imaging systems consisting of a large number of channels greatly benefit from multiplexing methods to reduce the number of channels with minimizing the system complexity and development cost. In conventional pixelated radiation detector modules, such as anger logic, is used to reduce a large number of channels that transmit signals to a data acquisition system. However, these methods have limitations of electrical noise and distortion at the detector edge. To solve these problems, a multiplexing concept using a digital signal encoding technique based on a time delay method for signals from detectors was developed in this study. The digital encoding multiplexing (DEM) method was developed based on the time-over-threshold (ToT) method to provide more information including the activation time, position, and energy in one-bit line. This is the major advantage of the DEM method as compared with the traditional ToT method providing only energy information. The energy was measured and calibrated by the ToT method. The energy resolution and coincidence time resolution were observed as 16% and 2.4 ns, respectively, with DEM. The position was successfully distributed on each channel. This study demonstrated the feasibility that DEM was useful to reduce the number of detector channels.

UAV 자동 편대비행을 위한 디지털 빔포밍 및 ToA 기반의 상대위치 추정 시스템 (A Relative Position Estimation System using Digital Beam Forming and ToA for Automatic Formation Flight of UAV)

  • It is difficult to perform automatic formation flight of UAV (Unmanned Aerial vehicle) when GPS (Global Positionig System) is out of order or has a system error, since the relative position estimation in the flight group is impossible in that case. In this paper, we design a relative localization system for the automatic formation flight of UAV. For this purpose, we adopt digital beam forming (DBF) to estimate the angle with the central controller of the flight group and Particle Filtering scheme to compensate the estimation error of ToA (time of arrival) method. Computer simulation results present a proper distance between the central controller and a following unit to maintain the automatic formation flight.

  • A use of micro processor having H-com functions is gradually increased, and this paper describes the digital servo controller applied to linear pulse motor The TMS320LF2407, made by TI(Texas Instruments Co.), is used as a arithmetic unit in control circuit, designed f3r motor drive and available for the implement of high performance and miniaturization. Also, it can allow the sufficient debugging and downloading into control board for independent operation. A current control in order to carry out a position control is of a digital current control mode, and its implement confirmed the servo control performance of position control.
