  • Electronic commerce includes the tasks that support the buying and selling of goods and services, and interactions among those tasks. Electronic commerce enables companies to close stores, reduce inventory requirements, and distribute products over the internet. Electronic commerce can simplify communication and change relationships The expanding global e-marketplace has triggered an evolution with powerful implications. The introduction of interactive media and the online environment has made real-time, customized one-to-one advertising, marketing and commerce possible. I-marketing is the most rapidly growing channel being explored today. Users of this expanding medium include a range of service providers, publishers, marketers of music, s/w, other products that cross an increasing number of industry lines. Thus, the opportunities for e-business marketing strategy, and new businesses based on interactivity and sophisticated database technology are vast. This study explores the e-business marketing strategy of digital age. Strategic e-marketing can harness the power of today's technology to propel a company of any size farther into the worldwide market than ay any other time in history, increasing potential profits and productivity.

  • Due to the rapid popularization of mobile multimedia devices and the Internet as well as the realization of high-speed data transmission and large-volume data recording media, high quality content distribution and ubiquitous information services are making progress and a new type of information distribution and network sharing service has gradually emerged into the market. It is capable of utilizing terabyte sized home servers also in private homes. Under these circumstances, in distribution of content over shared networks, it is crucial to establish DRM (Digital Rights Management) technologies to protect the content from illegal copying and usage. A truly successful DRM system must be built on open worldwide specifications and provide maximum interoperability and user acceptance. An open interoperability of DRM is able to construct highly expandable PKI based DRM, targeting usage between systems, considering the expansion of recent content distribution services and clients This document gives protocol specifications for the exchange of rights information between the DRM module, description of specifications for rights information and encrypted content formats.

  • Recently, the interests of mobile GIS technology is increasing with the spread of wireless network, the improvement of mobile device's performances, and the growth of demands about mobile services. Providing services in a wireless environment with existing wired-based GIS solutions have many limitations such as slow communication, processing rates and screen size. In this paper, we propose a cache algorithm on client side to solve the above problems. The proposed algorithm demonstrates the performance improvement over known studies by utilizing unit time and spatial proximity. In addition, this paper conducts a performance evaluation to measure the improvement in algorithm efficiency and analyzes the results of the performance evaluation. When spatial data queries are conducted, according to our performance evaluation, hit rate has been improved over the existing algorithms.

  • WAVE(Wireless Access for Vehicular Environment) System is a communication technology to monitor system failure and vehicle functions and management services to prevent possible incidents of driving a vehicle. In this paper, we have designed and implemented the mutual message processing through parameter between WME management module that manages WAVE system and MLME that manages the upper layer MAC(Media Access Control) module. Also, in order to verify the validity, we have carried out experiments to compare the speed of data processing by dividing data of 1Mbyte, 2Mbyte, 3Mbyte into the packets of 2KByte and 4KByte. Experiments data processing speed of 2KByte packet were shown about 173.62ms in 1MByte, 2MByte about 352.61ms, 3MByte about 550.13ms and, data processing speed of 4KByte packet, 1MByte approximately 87.56ms, 2MByte about 177.94ms, 3MByte about 277.18ms. Therefore, in WAVE system, the mutual messages processing through the parameters between WME and MLME module can be utilized in the various service of ITS(Intelligent Transportation Systems) depending on the speed of data processing.

  • Digital DBS service using Korea Sat starts at Korea Telecom's Yong-in transmission site. Total 6 transmitting stations are needed. At each transmitting station, 4 TV programs are compressed and multiplexed using MPEG-2, modulated into IF, RF signals, then finally transmitted through antenna. At DBS transponder, received signal is down converted, amplified and re-transmitted to earth. At receiver, signal is received by 45cm dish antenna, then wanted program is selected, demultiplexed and decoded. Transmission performance of BER lOE-ll is implemented by using FEe coding and QPSK modulation. For pay TV management, conditional access system, smart card and modem are used.

  • The progression of broadcasting technology changed the previous analogue broadcasting system into digital, which in result allowed several broadcasting programs to be transmitted as one stream by multiplexing. This multi channel environment interferes with audience to choose the program they want. EPG acts as supporter in this multi channel environment. The existing EPG system is limited in providing searching function with title, genre, date and Wish-list in multi-media environment. Thus, this thesis proposes new type EPG using PSIP information modification to respond with the change of broadcasting market. This type of EPG can be applied to several kinds of broadcasting systems.

An Automatic Face Hiding System based on the Deep Learning Technology

  • As social network service platforms grow and one-person media market expands, people upload their own photos and/or videos through multiple open platforms. However, it can be illegal to upload the digital contents containing the faces of others on the public sites without their permission. Therefore, many people are spending much time and effort in editing such digital contents so that the faces of others should not be exposed to the public. In this paper, we propose an automatic face hiding system called 'autoblur', which detects all the unregistered faces and mosaic them automatically. The system has been implemented using the GitHub MIT open-source 'Face Recognition' which is based on deep learning technology. In this system, two dozens of face images of the user are taken from different angles to register his/her own face. Once the face of the user is learned and registered, the system detects all the other faces for the given photo or video and then blurs them out. Our experiments show that it produces quick and correct results for the sample photos.

  • With the start of digital broadcasting, TV screen, there is provided a new broadcast service is called EPG (Electronic Program Guide) that can be retrieved directly to a channel or program. However, a study considering the EPG of the user interface on the viewer position is so far insufficient. TV is because everyone watching the media, rather than a specific layer is necessary in order to find easy, intuitive user interface for the program to the viewer. That is, it is possible to quickly find the program to select the attributes that the TV viewer can be easily understood by using the EPG. To this end, this paper first genres which are representative of the properties that distinguish a TV program, time, rating, etc. were systematically classified. So viewers the values of the properties but to specify organized by the EPG, the order of attributes that specify the value we design a user interface that can be selected as having easy. And compare the superiority of the function evaluation of the two through the EPG in the EPG Usability Test proposed by the EPG with the existing commercial paper.

  • In these day, Digital Contents is authorized in forms of HTML and various kind of multi-media by an enterprise and/or organization. At this circumstances, it is very hard or impossible to search a contents between them. Futhermore, you may have to change your contents service systems to extend to cover more user services needs. On this paper, we propose a new architecture to get extendability and empowered interoperability without any maintenance, update or changes. And we introduce the OMG's CORBA to make fault resilient system and to provide a load balancing using a distributed process mechanism. Even more, we adopted the SyncML specification. It can help us to make it real to synchronize between DBMS at real-time. So all these are support easy content synchronization and user-friendness.
