Wearable computer focuses on functional aspects of fashion to respond to and satisfy needs for daily availability of ubiquitous environment owing to ever-developing digital technologies. The purpose of this study is to examine in possible developmental direction of wearable computer and thereby explore more promising directions of wearable computer to enhance its adaptability to future advanced ubiquitous environment and also satisfy both esthetical and functional needs. Now the wearable computer can be classified broadly into 3 types in the aspect of functionality, i.e. computer containing 'integratability', 'convertibility' and 'interactability'. Beyond simple portability concepts based on digital devices attached on body, it will be necessary that follow-up studies on wearable computer satisfy needs for enhanced digital functionality to comply with ubiquitous environment as well as emotional needs inherent in clothing. It is expected that possibility of future wearable computer will be extended via collaborative relationships between design and functionality, and should be implemented through possible points of contact among computer, telecommunication, design and fashion. Based on the findings of this study, it is expected that follow-up researches and developments for wearable computer to meet both functionality and esthetical values in the aspect of 'fashion design combined with electronic products' will help assure the variety of fashion designs for wearable computer contributing to better life quality of human in future ubiquitous environment.
The purpose of this study is to present a new vision for high value-added knit wear design by designing and producing knitted one-piece dress by digital textile printing which based on digital making a new industry, culture, and lifestyle in a new millenium. According as casual fashion is more and more popular, preferring knit wear, a key item of casual fashion, continues to increases. Therefore it is important to study knit wear design practically, try a new technique, and represent creative designs. As a method of the study, visual and textural data were investigated for theory of knit and DTP and a variety of knit design samples were illustrated Especially, to perform a study based on the industry, this researcher worked and experienced at J fashion Ltd., knit wear promotion company. Firstly, the theory of DTP was investigated and then 3 knitted one-pieces were designed and produced. The concept of design was digital geometry which represented chic and modern image in digital age. Target was city adult group from the late teens to the late twenties and keeping open mind and active lifestyle and enjoying the activity and unique characteristics of knit wear. This study has developed knitted one-piece design by DTP technique which has been generally applied to woven fabric. This is of great significant in opening a new way of high value-added knit wear design.
Purpose: This research aims to identify positive connections between digital fashion product value and consumer purchase behavior. The research tries to offer valuable insights and implications for fashion industry practitioners, enabling them to harness the power of the Metaverse to enhance customer engagement, drive sales, and stay ahead in this ever-evolving digital landscape. Research design, data and methodology: The research design for this study is a systematic literature review. A systematic and rigorous approach was adopted to ensure the reliability and validity of the research findings. By conducting this kind of approach to achieve the purpose of the study, this research aims to comprehensively analyze existing academic articles, peer-reviewed journals, and relevant publications related to the topic. Results: According to various academic search engines, the results revealed several dimensions of value associated with digital fashion products on the Metaverse platform, which significantly influence consumer perceptions. These dimensions of value extend beyond traditional tangible attributes and are uniquely shaped by the immersive and interactive nature of the virtual environment. Conclusions: All in all, the findings highlighted the significance of experiential value in driving purchase behavior. Creating immersive and interactive virtual shopping experiences emerged as a crucial strategy for fashion industry practitioners to engage potential consumers effectively.
A concept of 'digital' is changing a living pattern of moderners, with having influence on the whole life of modern society. The purpose of this study is arrange the frame of conformity to the 'fashion as culture' by considering the social and cultural phenomena being shown in relation to digital, which is a concept being watched most for the 21st century and by trying to analyze a tendency of digital culture being shown in the modernly fashion design based on this. The digital culture, which is a concept of generalizing the phenomena of interactional changes in the sub-structure being derived by digital technology, is being shown as a tendency of fusionization and globalization, and due to this, the culture of digital nomads is being formed. On the other hand, a tendency of amenity caused by the reaction against the coldly digital technology, is forming one axis of digital culture. As the culture, which experiences the process of a change by digital technology, is reflected even on the fashion, the fusion of technology and the human body, brought about the appearance and the development of the artificial body, by allowing the wearable computer to be introduced to fashion and by being connected directly to the body. This means the expansion of range for fashion. The destruction of a border between space and space, is making an opportunity of forming another ego inside the cyber space, with bringing about the mixed loading between the cyber space and the real space. As the border between the cyber space and the real space is being collapsed, the space of newly self-realization is being created. The collapse of gender is being shown as the pursuit of gender, which is a nomadic concept of not giving priority to anywhere of male gender and female gender. The tendency of sensitive design introduced the sports look as the largely fashion trend. Fascinated with Zen thoughts is leading to a response to the swiftly and coldly social conditions caused by machine. The digital culture by digital technology and the fashion tendency being shown by its influence, meet the needs of self-realization and self-expansion for a human being, and satisfy the needs for the expression of self-identity for a human being, and enable the search for introspection about inner existence inside the self.

The purpose of this study is to consider effective digital marketing strategies through analysis of luxury fashion brands. This study conducted both quantitative analysis and case studies of the brands Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Burberry, and Chanel. To measure the brand image of the luxury fashion brands, the survey was distributed to Millennials, and total of 277 responses were used for the final analysis by using SPSS 25.0 statistical program. Other than survey, this paper analyzed digital marketing strategies of luxury fashion brands through brand-related papers, website and social media of each brand, Samsung Designnet's database, and news posted on search engines. The results of this study are as follows: First, according to the result of examining brand image of luxury fashion brands, there was no significant difference between brands, except Gucci. Second, this study analyzed each luxury fashion brand to understand the characteristics of digital marketing, and common characteristics were identified. Third, by analyzing the brand image and digital marketing strategies of luxury fashion brands, it was confirmed that Gucci's brand image and digital marketing strategies were consistent, while there was a difference between Burberry's brand image and digital marketing strategy. Therefore, this article proposes the following digital marketing strategies that are suitable for luxury fashion brands. First, is the connection of on/offline channels. Second, is the use of AI technology. Third, is a blockchain-based platform.

This study investigated the luxury supply chain management called 'See now, Buy now'. This has been a new way of controlling the supply and demand for luxury brands in the fashion industry since 2016. In this study, we explored the backgrounds and impacts of 'See now, Buy now' in the digital era. 'See now, Buy now' was launched by the fashion brand, Burberry in February 2016. It was the first luxury brand to showcase its entire collection using 'See now, Buy now' among the brands which showcase in Paris, Milan, New York, and London fashion weeks. That has not only caused many controversies in the fashion world but also generated followers. In this study, we analyzed 'See now, Buy now' in three aspects, economics, efficiency, and management strategy, and this was done through a literature survey on articles pertaining to 'See now, Buy now' and empirical surveys on Burberry's collections. Based on 'See now, Buy now', Burberry tried a new process of supply and sale. In the era of SNS, the spread of information is getting faster. The speed of SNS and changes in the fashion market combining IT and mobile technology are major changes faced by the fashion industry. 'See now, Buy now', a model of the new supply and demand in luxury fashion brands, should be noted as a new directional aspect for the future of the fashion industry. Since it was a relatively recent trend that started from the September show of Burberry in 2016, there was still a lack of academic discussion or prior research on this phenomenon. Therefore this study aimed to predict future directions by recognizing the importance of 'See now, Buy now' in the fashion industry. Also, based on this research, the significance of this study was to present a management strategy that applies 'See now, Buy now' to the future of the fashion industry in the digital era.

Changes in future life styles and values caused by digital environment must be variables as fashion objects by themselves. Therefore digital environment of a fashion itself and that all encountered in fashion will not only be an existing situation but also an objective and a factor which must be pursued with fashionable sense in future fashion. Advanced technology and social change in relation to digital environment requires that educational method as well as its content will be changed on the scene of education for future. Thus we should seek an educational direction in fashion design for future society in which digital environment requires new paradigm. Subject to these backgrounds this study has an intension to study the change in fashion extensively influenced by expanded digital environment on a limited situational level of fashion design education and to suggest an educational direction for professional in future fashion design who will serve as a core of fashion area in the future. It is essential that education of professional in fashion for future should be achieved by digital-minded level that eagerly understands and accepts future society in which digital environment will be a main axis. It is necessary for this to make them expetience computers, digital media including CAD program. We have to note that education of digital media is more effective and applicable when accomplished in CAI level which can be related and expetienced with fashion education rather than mere functional training in media themselves. Intellectual creativity will be a vety source of producing values and national competence in 21st centtury. Education of design professional in fashion area must positively accept these environmental charactetistics in future society, as well as deeply reflect the education for the future.

The purpose of this study is to develop highly valued fashion cultural items using Korean face and human images to enhance global competition. The methods of this study include: historical study on the face/human images which appear on the dress; design by stage according to Lamb & Kallal's apparel design process; development of products using digital textile printing technology; and case study by objective evaluation through Grant's alpha-beta model. The procedure and the results of this study are as follows: First, in the problem identification stage, the need to develop fashion cultural products of Korean face/human images which are symbolic, aesthetic, and functional was recognized in order to enhance global competition. Second, in the preliminary idea stage, the fashion cultural products and the components that meet the above 3 standards for design were determined and first design was drawn up. The source of the design was extrapolated from face/human images, which appeared on the murals of the ancient Korea, the portraits and custom paintings from the Chosun Dynasty. From these images, a total of 7 design series of T-shirts with an "ULGUL" logo, scarves, and artwalls were developed using "obangsaek" which are five Korean traditional colors including red, blue, black. white, and yellow on cottons and silks. Third, in the design refinement stage, based on the preference survey, more varying design methods were used to develop 25 new designs. Fourth, in prototype development stage, based on the preference survey conducted on fashion professionals and general public from the previous stage, which showed preference for T-shirts and scarves, 3 designs on T-shirts and 2 designs on scarves were printed and produced using the DTP (Digital Textile Printing). Fifth, in the evaluation stage, Grant's alpha-beta model was used to perform comparative evaluation on the symbolic, aesthetic, and functional criteria of the new designs over the existing ones. The new designs received excellent results in all three criteria and a special recognition was given to symbolism of the new designs.
Fashion and interior architecture are two areas of design that may share common issues, trends and philosophies, making fashion design human's second skin and interior architecture the third. The concept of 'skin' has become one of the most interesting phenomena in design during the past decade and not surprisingly similar issues can be seen also in fashion and architectural design. The current trend in fashion design is that the skin (clothing) has become detached from the human body and extended into the environment, resulting fashion as art objects. Skin in architecture and interior design has also become detached from the structure so designers have more freedom to experiment by using advanced technologies. The present study attempts to analyze common features of 'skin phenomenon' in fashion and interior architecture that are; detachment, emphasis on space, extension, territorial blending, and digital applications. The researcher has used constant comparative method to categorize the five features among many examples. The limitation of this study is that it is focused on the formative phenomena of projects excluding the philosophies and personal background of each designer. However, it is hoped that the study may assist designers and other researchers to understand relationships between fashion and interior design, hold broader spectrum in art and design.
The purpose of this study were to examine fashion information acceptance and fashion information sources and to analyze the difference according to clothing shopping orientation among digital generation male consumers. The subject were 349 male who were belonging to digital generation as the digital era's new consumers familial with internet and various kinds of digital media. A self-administrated questionnaire was developed based on the results of previous researches. The data were analyzed by using frequency analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA, Duncan test, $\chi^2$ test, multiple regression analysis by SPSS WIN 12.0 package. The results of this study are as follows: First, clothing shopping orientation of digital generation males were classified into 6 factors: fashion oriented, impulse buying, aesthetic pursuit, individuality pursuit, practical type and reasonable economy. Based on the factor scores, 3 clusters were identified; independent, unconcern, high involvement. Second, the high involvement shopping group utilized various information sources. On the other hand, the unconcerned shopping group was passive in utilizing information sources. Third, the fashion information acceptance of digital generation was classified into 5 factors: searching, leading, following, non-accepting, and delaying acceptance. All fashion information acceptance factors were affected by the information and communication media. Finally, The high involved type of shopping group accepted fashion information at its most and actively.
