스마트 테크놀로지 시대의 디지털 콘텐츠 주 소비자층의 연령대가 과거에 비해 확대되어가고 있다. 소비자는 다양한 형태로 콘텐츠의 생산과 배포에 주도적으로 참여하고 있으며 그 중심에는 매개체로서의 Personal Digital Device, 콘텐츠 그리고 생산과 소비, 이야기 하는 자와 듣는 자의 경계를 무너뜨린 포스트 모던한 사회 구조와 공간이 존재한다. 세상에 똑같은 것의 존재를 거부하는 콘텐츠 주 소비 계층의 성향과 이를 관통하는 포스트 모던적 스토리텔링의 제공은 다양한 형태의 콘텐츠로 거대한 산업 군을 형성한다. 본 연구의 수행을 위해 영화와 게임, 광고 등의 사례를 통하여 소비자가 주도적으로 참여하며 일반성을 배제하고 그들만의 독창적 스타일로 콘텐츠의 중심을 개인으로 옮겨가는 모습들을 추적하는 방식을 따랐다. 연구결과 현재의 시점에서 광고와 영상, 사용자 주도형 게임 콘텐츠의 경향을 통해 관계성을 되짚어보고 콘텐츠 제작 분야의 다양한 융합 가능성에 대한 인식의 변화를 가져왔다.

This research focus on the economic activity as consumer and producer traits of future customers in the convergence age. We assess level of convergence for digital devices and services respectively by questionnaire survey and interview for 14 professions. And then, for evaluating convergence level and usage of digital services of each respondents, we conducted the questionnaire survey for 343 samples. Findings of our research hold that the group who showed higher level of convergence tends to use the socialized digital services more. Convergence generation were heavy users in appstore on smart-phone and wireless game and more participating. In digital service area, facebook/cyworld, twitter, UCC, portal, internet community in digital service. Convergence generation are global network communication, buying decision making activity, actively opinion expression, prosumer attitude, dependency on digital device, experience based purchase behavior, enthusiastic information sharing.

We have succeeded in designing a PHUND (portable head up navigation display), which has a compact system with a MD panel and full color display device using RGB LED sources. The PHUND has been developed as an alternative to conventional built-in type HUD system targeting the high volume aftermarket with an affordable price.

정보화 사회에서 디지털이라는 단어와 결합된 컨버전스는 정보통신 분야의 단위기술들의 융합을 통해 등장하는 새로운 제품이나 서비스를 일컫고 있다. 이러한 컨버전스 기술의 파급효과 및 컨버전스 사회의 현상들은 이미 경제, 사회, 문화등 사회의 전 부분에서 가시화되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 디지털 컨버전스 환경에서의 필요한 기술현황 및 전망과 컨버전스의 대표적 사례이면서도 차세대 모바일 대표시장의 가능성이 매우 큰 웨어러블 컴퓨터와 관련된 내용을 기술하였다.

To extend the application of digital technology to the replication of artifacts, meticulous details of the process and the diversity of three-dimensional (3D) printing output materials need to be supplemented. Thus, in this study, a bronze mirror with Hwangbichangcheon inscription was digitalized by 3D scanning, converted into a voxel model, and virtual conservation treatment was performed using a haptic device. Furthermore, the digital mold of the bronze mirror completed by Boolean modeling was printed using a 3D sand-printer. Such contactless replication based on digital technology reflects the stability, precision, expressivity, collectivity, durability, and economic feasibility of artifacts. Its application can be further extended to cultural products as well as such areas as education, exhibition, and research. It is expected to be in high demand for metal artifacts that require casting. If empirical studies through experimental research on casting are supplemented in the future, it could extend the application of digital technology-based contactless replication methods.

Polymers are emerging as new alternative materials for optical communication devices. We developed two types of polymer-based devices for optical communications. One type is for ultra high-speed signal processing that uses nonlinear optical (NLO) polymers in such devices as electro-optic (EO) Mach-Z${\ddot{e}} $ hnder (MZ) modulators and EO 2${\times}$2 switches. The other is for WDM optical communications that use low-loss optical polymers in such devices as 1${\times}$2, 2${\times}$2, 4-arrayed 2${\times}$2 digital optical switches (DOSs) and 16${\times}$16 arrayed waveguide grating (AWG) routers. For these devices, we synthesized a polyetherimide-disperse red 1 (PEI-DR1) side chain NLO polymer and a low-loss optical polymer known as fluorinated polyaryleneethers (FPAE). This paper presents the details of our development of these polymeric photonic devices considering all aspects from materials to packaging.

The authors study a novel type of elevator emergency stop device which enables to soften impact force at an emergency halt. A new structure of emergency stop devices has been already proposed by our laboratory and also its characteristics has been already proposed by our laboratory and also its characteristics has been shown by digital simulations[1]. In order to confirm the actual effects of our proposed emergency stop device, we have made up a simulator having the same characteristics as the conventional emergency stop device to accomplish the experiments from now on. In this paper, this process is introduced.

Recently, demand of digital products with optoelectronic device is increasing rapidly. A microlens array is applied to improve optical efficiency on optoelectronic device, and it is usually fabricated by photolithography and reflow process after planarization layer coating process. UV molding process is more suitable for mass production of high quality microlens array than photolithography and reflow process. In the present study, microlens array was fabricated on the simulated optoelectronic device with planarization layer by aligned UV molding process. The shape of replicated microlens was measured, and the section image of molded part was examined.

The mobile industry is the key foundation of digital convergence, and its constant growth is expected. Among mobile industries, new products leading the development of devices are the Emerging Device. This study is conducted to find out factors making differentiated by comparing the structural equation model(SEM) of the Tablet PC and the e-Book Reader. The main findings are as follows. First, the application of TAM to the Emerging Device shows that fitness of the model is generally high but the effect of Perceived Ease of Use has not been verified or found insignificant. Second, the acceptance model of the Tablet PC and the e-Book Reader has found that playfulness stimulates acceptance intentions. Third, the cost level of the Emerging Device acceptance model is not a factor stimulating consumers' acceptance intentions. Fourth, product attributes of the Tablet PC and the e-Book Reader to differentiate themselves from the other device are Functionality and Playfulness respectively.

The conventional motor in a crane has a tan generator to feed back the number of turns. The tan generator is contacted to a motor shaft through the coupling. Don has been often generated because the coupling has worn out while the motor is turning. In this paper, we design the speed-measurement device of motor in a un. The device is composed of PIC16F84 controller, photo-sensor, and analog-to digital converter. The photo sensor measures the turn of a motor without contact so the device decreases the probability of errors. And The device can acknowledge the turn direction of the motor with a gin81e senor and two color reflectors.
