  • In this paper, the Digital DoorLock by Internet of Things (DDiT) is introduced. In order to implement DDiT, an integrated micro-controller platform, Arduino is used to control an existing digital doorlock and an android type smart phone is adopted as a mobile platform. One of the advantages of DDiT is that it can be added to an existing digital doorlock and a smart phone application is used as a digital key. Owing to the smart phone application, several other types of applications could also be made. Therefore, DDiT could be used effectively and conveniently in ordinary homes as well as in high security applications such as in hotels, institutes, and companies.

  • The development of information technology and the demands of society on an application in an operating system, as well as increasing the specifications and sophistication of smartphones, require banks to make changes to their mobile banking applications. The transformation of the mobile banking application into a digital banking application conducted by banks has made users re-evaluate based on their preferences. This study presents the behavior of users of digital banking applications in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The hypothesis model is based on Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with additional factors of the social image, perceived risk and perceived trust adopted from Muñoz-Leiva et al. (2017). The methodology in this study includes data collection through questionnaires distributed online and data analysis using the Structural Equation Model. The results of this study illustrate that the perceived trust and perceived risk have a more dominant part in influencing user attitude and user intention to use digital banking. Meanwhile, social image, perceived ease-of-use and perceived usefulness are not significant in influencing user attitude and user intention to use digital banking. The implication of this research helps to determine the right communication and strategy so that more users with more benefits can utilize this digital banking application.

  • In this paper, device performances of organic lightemitting diodes (OLEDs) will be presented for AMOLED and general illumination applications. Various types of advanced devices were developed to enhance the power efficacy and luminous efficiency. Here we also demonstrated longer lifetime AM-OLED structures, which lifetime is about 100 hours until $L/L_0$ reaches 0.99.

  • In this paper, a new frequency-to-digital converter without an analog element is proposed. The proposed circuit consists of pulse-shrinking elements, latches and D flip-flops, and the operation is based on frequency comparison by the pulse-shrinking element. In the proposed circuit, the resolution of digital output can be easily improved by increasing the number of the pulse-shrinking elements. The FDC performance is improved in viewpoints of operating speed and chip area. In designed FDC, error of frequency-to-digital conversion is less than 0.1 %.

  • The aim of this paper is to improve the usability of Mobile Maps by allowing more people to use. To figure out better UX/UI, I evaluated usability for Mobile Applications from various materials such as literatures and blogs for qualitative methods and interviews and questionnaires about satisfaction of Naver and Daum for quantitative methods. So, We know that a map app is important and it is affected by force and profile on the portal site than its own features, because, not often in everyday life. Even though people do not use Mobile Map Applications frequently, we need to improve usability to make anybody use them easily by minimizing depth and button designs.

  • As a survey-type article, the paper reviews various digital topological utilities from digital covering theory. Digital covering theory has strongly contributed to the calculation of the digital k-fundamental group of both a digital space(a set with k-adjacency or digital k-graph) and a digital product. Furthermore, it has been used in classifying digital spaces, establishing almost Van Kampen theory which is the digital version of van Kampen theorem in algebrate topology, developing the generalized universal covering property, and so forth. Finally, we remark on the digital k-surface structure of a Cartesian product of two simple closed $k_i$-curves in ${\mathbf{Z}}^n$, $i{\in}{1,2}$.

  • This study made use of a qualitative approach with an intrinsic case study to explore how handheld devices applications were integrated in teaching and learning in Textiles, Clothing and Design programmes. Participants of the study were purposively sampled from the Textiles and Clothing department at a selected university of Science and Technology in Zimbabwe comprising eight lecturers and thirty-two students. In-depth, focus group interviews and observations were used to gather data for the study. The findings of the study showed that participants were still at the stage of actively experimenting with very limited handheld device applications for the purposes of teaching and learning. Photoediters and digital cameras were the commonest applications used in most modules of the Textiles, Clothing and Design programmes. Though the photoediters and digital cameras were found to match the multimedia category of the Functionality framework, these were not fully utilised by students. It was recommended that there is need for the Textiles, Clothing and Design lecturers to provide opportunities for students to use a variety of applications on handheld devices for collaborative designing in practical modules of the programmes as these can encourage the development of critical skills necessary for creating innovative textiles and fashion designs.
