디지털 교통신호제어기 개발 연구 (A Study on the Development of the Digital Traffic Signal Controller)

  • 현재 국내에서 사용되고 있는 교통신호제어기는 220V의 고전압을 신호등에 일대일로 직접 전달하는 스위치 제어 방식이다. 이러한 방식은 교통신호제어기와 신호등들을 연결하는 데 상대적으로 많은 케이블이 소요되고, 또한 감전에 대한 우려가 있다. 이에 따라 도로교통공단에서는 경찰청 교통신호제어기 표준규격서에 디지털 통신 방식을 이용한 디지털 교통신호제어기의 규격을 추가하였다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 표준규격서를 바탕으로 디지털 교통신호제어기를 개발하고자 하였다. 또한 디지털 교통신호제어기와 아날로그 교통신호제어기가 혼재되어 있어도 현재 운영 중인 신호제어시스템에서 운영이 가능함을 검증하였다.

  • 지금 사용되는 제어기의 제어방식은 220V 고전압을 일대 일로 직접 신호등에 전달하는 스위치방식이다. 이 방식은 감전위험, 누설전류, 보행공간 침해, 미관 저하 등 많은 단점이 있다. 이에 따라 교통신호기의 제어방식이 디지털로 전환되는 노력이 이루어지고 있으며, 신호등과 신호기와의 디지털 통신 체계가 그 핵심으로 부상하고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 디지털방식의 신호제어를 위해 필요한 통신체계를 개발하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 신호등을 포함한 다양한 신호기 주변장치와 특별한 메시지에 대하여 CAN 식별자(ID)를 할당하였다. 또한 이 할당된 식별자(ID)기반으로 신호등에 대한 제어정보를 전달하고 제어상태 피드백을 수집하는 CAN 기반 신호제어 프로토콜을 구성하였다. 이 통신체계의 검증을 위해 소프트웨어 모의실험시스템을 제작하여 신호제어에 활용 가능함을 검증하였다.

  • 신호교차로는 차량들의 회전 등으로 인한 상충이 빈번히 발생하고 차량의 주행이 교통신호에 의해 통제되기 때문에 자율주행차에게 가장 도전적인 공간이다. 교통신호가 존재하는 도시부 도로에서 안전한 주행을 도모하기 위해서는 자율주행차가 V2I 통신을 통하여 교통신호정보를 인프라로부터 제공받을 필요가 있다. 이러한 배경 하에 경찰청 교통신호제어기 표준규격서에는 교통신호정보 제공을 위한 규약이 추가되었다. 하지만, 기존 규약이 아날로그 교통신호제어기 위주로 정의되어 있어 현재 개발되고 있는 디지털 교통신호제어기에 적용하는 것에는 기술적 한계가 존재한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 디지털 교통신호제어기로부터 자율주행차에게 교통신호정보를 제공하기 위한 신호정보연계모듈 개발 방안과 교통신호 전이 시의 정확한 교통신호정보를 제공할 수 있는 알고리즘 개선 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

도로 소음 저감을 위한 능동소음제어 시스템의 개발 및 기초실험 (Development and Basic Experiment of Active Noise Control System for Reduction of Road Noise)

  • PURPOSES : The purpose of this study is about noise which is generated from roads and is consist of irregular frequency variation from low frequency to various band. The existing methods of noise reduction are sound barrier that uses insulation material and absorbing material or have applied passive technology of noise reduction by devices. The total frequency band is needed to apply active noise control. METHODS : In this study applies to the field of road traffic environment, signal processing controller and various analog signal input/output, the amplifier module is based on parallel-core embedded processor designed. DSP performs the control algorithm of the road traffic noise. Noise sources in the open space performance of evaluation were applied. In this study, controller of active signal processor was designed based on the module of audio input/output and main controller of embedded process. The controller of active signal processor operates noise reduction algorithm and performance tests of noise reduction in inside and outside environment were executed. RESULTS : The signal processing controller with OMAP-L137 parallel-core processors as the center, DSP processors in the active control operations dealt with quickly. To maximize the operation speed of an object and ARM processor is external function keys and display for functions and evaluating the performance management system was designed for the purpose of the interface. Therefore the reduction of road traffic noise has established an electronic controller-based noise reduction. CONCLUSIONS : It is shown that noise reduction is effective in the case of pour tonal sound and complex tonal sound below 500Hz by appling to Fx-LMS.

  • Road traffic noise barriers being used to reduce the noise, but the city surroundings inhibition, ecosystem disturbance, and it is difficult to maintain. Can enhance or complement the existing noise barrier performance, so that it is necessary to develop an electronic noise-reduction system In this paper, we proposed an electronic road noise reduction devices to reduce road noise for a DSP-based signal processing and analog signal input-output controller. In order to verify the control performance, we performed noise reduction experimentation of ANC by filtered-X LMS algorithm and traffic noise signal injection. The controller is equipped with noise reduction algorithms were tested on the characteristics of directional and omnidirectional speaker.

교통신호의 자동최적점제어를 위한 마이크로파 FM-CW 검지계통에 관한 연구 (A Study on Microwave-FM-CW Detection System for the Sutomatic Optimal Point Traffic Control)

  • An automatic point traffic control method is recommended for more idealistic traffic flow over coarse road netowrks. The automatic control apparatus recommended, consists of a transceiver, amplifier, digital-to-analog converter, signal light controller for emergency and steady state, and digital counter as monitor. The transmitter sends a signal to the target vy means of Microwave-FM-CW and a diode detector picks up the echo signal. Thus the operation of the entire system will be carried out through an open loop state. Some factors necessary for an ideal detector system are rapid response, longevity and stability. An analytical method of the Doppler effect substitutes the conventional frequency deviation into the amplitude of detector output. The changing rate of amplitude is proportional to the voltage of the detector output. Some induced formula from Maxwell's radiation field theory ensures this new method, and, new method, and proves the fact with an experimental data presentation. Stability depends upon Klystron as an oscillator and a diode as a detector. the transceiver installation affects on the response and sensitivity of the system. In accordance with the detector output, several targets are easily classified by amplitudes on the scope. The traffic flow, i.e., target movement which is analyzed by the amplitude method, is shown through the scope and indicates it on the digital counter. The best efficiency for the amplitude analysis can be attained through use of an antenna having the highest sensitivity.

  • In this paper, we introduce a system that detects all kinds of violations at a street intersection such as red light running, speed violation, stop line violation and lane violation by tracking individual vehicles. Two cameras are used for defecting violations. One is an analog camera for real-time tracking and the other is a digital camera for license plate reading. This system is connected to the traffic signal system controller and monitors the red, arrow, yellow and green phases of an approach. Two loops in the road are used to detect vehicle approach and speed. The system takes pictures of all vehicles passing a second loop and tracks the vehicles until they go out a street intersection...

DSP 칩을 이용한 다중채널 R2MFC/DTMF/CCT 겸용 수신기 (A Single-Chip, Multichannel Combined R2MFC/DTMF/CCT Receiver Using Digital Signal Processor)

  • This paper describes the multichannel combined R2MFC/DTMF/CCT reciver which provides a signaling service functions for call processing control in digital switching system. Using the TMS320C25 DSP chip, we have implemented multi-function receriver shich processes 8 channels of R2MFC, DTMF, and CCT signals simultaneously. In order to increase the channel multiplicity of the combined receiver. R2MFC and CCT receiver were employed by discrete Fourier transform(DFT) method using Goertzel algorithm, and DTMFreceiver was employ by infinite impulse reponse(IIR) filtering method using 4KHz subsampling technique. The combined receiver has 4 function modes for each channel such as R2MFC, DTMF, CCT, and Idle modes. The function mode of each channel may be selected at any time by single-chip micro-controller(.mu.C). Hence, the number of channels assigned for each function mode can be adjusted dynamically according to the signaling traffic variations. From the experimental test results using the test-bed, it has been proved that the combined receiver statisfies all receiver satisfies all receiver specifications, and provides good channel multiplicity and performance, Therefore, it may give a great improvement than existing receiver in cost, reliability, availability, and serviceability.
