  • High expectations are posed on the blockchain-based internet of things (IoT), in which IoT and blockchain technology is combined to obtain trust in the Internet, where trust appears impossible to obtain. However, applications of current blockchain-based IoT technology to real-world scenarios appears to be significantly more difficult owing to limitations regarding scalability and security. In this paper, the difficulties to implement blockchain networking technologies for IoT and digital businesses are investigated and practical solutions such as sharding, off-chain, de-idetification and P2P crypto-currency exchange are explored. In further work, a blockchain platform for IoTs which provides scalability and security will be implemented according to this research results, and compared with conventional blockchain platforms.

  • This paper presents a SDR-based Long Term Evolution Advanced (LTE-A) Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) decoder using a multicore Digital Signal Processor (DSP). For decoder implementation, multicore DSP TMS320C6670 is used, which provides various hardware accelerators such as turbo decoder, fast Fourier transformer and Bit Rate Coprocessors. The TMS320C6670 is a DSP specialized in implementing base station platforms and is not an optimized platform for implementing mobile terminal platform. Accordingly, in this paper, the hardware accelerator was changed to the terminal implementation to implement the LTE-A PDSCH decoder supporting the multi-antenna and the functions not provided by the hardware accelerator were implemented through core programming. Also pipeline using multicore was implemented to meet the transmission time interval. To confirm the feasibility of the proposed implementation, we verified the real-time decoding capability of the PDSCH decoder implemented using the LTE-A Reference Measurement Channel (RMC) waveform about transmission mode 2 and 3.

  • Recently, as multi-platform game environments become common, many games of convergence genre have been produced, and the boundaries of genre division by existing platforms have become blurred. The game genre is convergence content consisting of user-centered 'narrative and play'. In this paper, we propose a game genre classification according to the user 's behavior type based on the essential recognition that the subject of the game is the user. The user's actions are done in different genres and goals and rules, and the interaction is an important act for immersion. Therefore, the user's behavioral classification and perception by the game genre are important and expected to help redefine the game structure.

  • The ecosystem for digital payments in India has expanded quickly during the last decade. A synthesis of technical advancements and progressive governmental laws and regulations has fuelled this expansion. Particularly, the UPI system has assisted India in transitioning from a nation heavily reliant on cash for daily transactions to one with fewer cash transactions. The study attempted to determine how Financial Inclusion (FI) through a socio-techno-ecosystem impacts digital payment systems. FI involves ensuring financial services, products, and an adequate amount of credit without discrimination against the weaker section of society. The study has established that FI impacts the UPI. The finance infrastructure thus helps to develop an ecosystem where financial access and the awareness level help people to transit to new channels of payment. We have used secondary data of 27 banks for sixteen quarters and four years, i.e., for the financial years 2016-17 to 2019-20. It is observed from the current study that the offsite_ATM plays a significant role in the value creation of the UPI. Our study implies that it will help retailers, individuals, and business houses to use UPI platforms for swift payments without hassle. Also helpful for industries that are still not digitally disrupted and industry-specific UPI transactions.

  • Treponema pedis, a fastidious anaerobic spirochete, is one of the main pathogens involved in the development and progression of bovine digital dermatitis (BDD), a lameness-causing hoof infection in cattle. Here, the complete genome sequencing of T. pedis GNW45 isolated from a dairy cow infected with BDD, was presented. Libraries for long and short reads were sequenced using PacBioRSII and Illimuna HiSeqXTen platforms, respectively. De-novo assembly was done using the long reads, producing a circular contig, by which the short reads were aligned to generate a more accurate genome sequence. The genome has a total size of 3,077,465 base pairs, with 36.84% guanine-cytosine content. A total of 2,749 protein-coding sequences, seven ribosomal RNA's, and 45 transfer RNA's were annotated. Functional analysis revealed genes associated with pathogenicity and survivability in the complex pathobiome of BDD. This study provided novel insights into the survival and pathogenic mechanisms of T. pedis GNW45.
