디지털시대의 감성 표현에 관한 연구 (The Trends of Emotion Expression in Digital Times)

  • Current information-oriented society is expanding rapidly with the huge change to our society from the information revolution emerged in mid '50s. Information technique such as computer, communication satellite and cable technology play their in this information-oriented society, and in 1980s, digital technique was adopted to media, inviting new phenomenon in communication of overall society. Expectations and hope for new trends and changes from digital era flourished when we entered into new Millenium, the 21st century. Since then we have gone through changes in years from analogue to digital. Now the word 'digital' is conceived in unified manner in almost every fields and influences overall society, changing our life pattern rapidly. Modern society had demanded some speedy and bidirectional communication tool in shifting digital era, and resulted from that was a new culture, Now the society changes more and more quickly under the speedy information sharing. From that perspective we need to establish the aspects of sensibility expression, which is one feature of the communication. The sensibility-oriented digital was originated from the human nature, which counts emotion and composure much. To satisfy the human nature a new cultural value which transcend a traditional one is needed. And the sensitivity expression to meet the need is one communication tendency in digital era. Digital era has totally different social qualities from that of analogue era. In digital era, prompt respond to rapid change and creativity combined with sensitivity are needed. Therefore a man with sensitivity would be more outstanding than a man of intelligence. The picture of digital and analogue in our society consists of two axis one is analogue axis like retrospective trend, admiration for nature , oriental thought etc. , and the other is the digital axis of internet and information technology. Sensibility can be widely interpreted as analogue thinking. It is surely different from the plain retrospective trend or nostalgia for past. It is a tendency that digital technology is used and cooperated with the emotion in human nature, In this paper we suggest the sensitivity expressions in detail through the study cases including both sides of digital and sensitivity expressions such as 'Bravo your life' advertising campaign of Samsung Insurance, MP3 advertising campaign, and 'Mini-homepage' of Cyworld. Under the circumstances the main direction of communication is oriented to human. This study's purpose is to think the true meaning of this digital era, to overcoming its weaknesses, such as over-dependency on technique and selfish individualism and to harmonize digital and sensitivity expression. The sensitivity-oriented expression than the reason-oriented one is expected to be put forth in whole media, and this is a more efficient tendency under the shifting digital era.

디지털 시대의 패션 디자인 조형성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Formative Features of Fashion Design in Digital Era)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze relations between digital characteristics and formative features of fashion design in digital era, to find out the best way to make desirable clothes in the future affected by digital characteristics. The methods of this study are documentary research of previous studies and case study. For the study of formative features of fashion design, 100 kinds of pictures have been selected from photographs in fashion magazines, professional books and internet sites. In the theoretical study, digital characteristics are limitless repetition, compressibility, interactivity, ease of deformation and mobility. And formative features of digital design are plasticity & geometry, assemblage, joints & connections, transparency and deformation. The results of analysis are as follow. Formative features of fashion design in digital era are classified nonlinearity, variability and hybrid. There are organic relations between digital characteristics and formative features of fashion design as well as between digital characteristics and formative features of digital design. Also, there is significant similarity between formative features of digital design and formative features of fashion design in digital era.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the characteristics and problems of existing research through various literature investigations on the existing R&D process. Implications are identified through the investigation of existing studies and the characteristics of the digital transformation era are analyzed. We research and propose a new R&D process suitable for the new era of digital transformation. Methods: The research method investigates various literature precedent studies on the existing R&D process and the methods used by companies. Research new R&D processes that reflect the characteristics of the digital transformation era and develop new related models. Results: In the era of digital transformation, the parallel R&D process is being reorganized to respond quickly to the demands of rapid market changes. In order to respond quickly to various customers, the R&D process can respond flexibly in a parallel structure. Conclusion: Along with the development of the R&D process, additional research on indicators and evaluation models that can evaluate them fairly and flexibly is needed. Further research is needed to determine whether the R&D process suitable for the digital transformation era is operating properly.

디지털 시대의 고전 서사 읽기 (Reading Korean Classical Narrative in Digital Era)

  • This Study aims to research how we read Korean classical narrative in the digital era and the culture digital made. The meaning of reading Korean classical narrative in digital culture can be divided in four category; first, reading the old narrative text that made and enjoyed a long time ago in digital era, second, reading the old narrative text that made in the old times not as th book but by the media environment that the digital technology made up, third, reading the extended and modified media text by the digital technology from the original old narrative text, fourth, reading the text by the digital technology seeking for the original narrative text as archetype. And it is inspected that the characteristic of the digital era and how to read the four type of Korean classical narrative through the example. So we can consider about the characteristic of enjoying Korean classical narrative and method of reading the diversified Korean classical narrative by the digital. Finally, it is conclusion that we must think over the original text of Korean classical narrative and adhere classicality. And we learned we should research more abundant Korean classical narrative text.

  • According as the use of information and communication technologies and the Internet are advancing rapidly, the digital economy are no longer emerging or beginning today. They are here with ours already. We are living in a new era that the economic paradigm and structures are changed remarkably, namely the digital economy era. Tourism policy is crucial to tourism industry competitiveness by triggering changes in the digital economy. Better tourism policy in the digital economy should satisfy the tourist needs as well as create additional value for the tourism industry.

Identifying Factors Affecting Life Satisfaction of Elderly Adults in the ICT Era

  • The present research investigates the factors influencing the elderly adults' life satisfaction in the era of information and communication technology (ICT). Specifically, we examine whether the elderly individuals' digital literacy skills (i.e., ability to use PCs, ability to use mobile devices, and ability to distinguish information) and perceptions (i.e., perceived usefulness of digital technology, self-efficacy in using digital devices, and social interaction) predict their life satisfaction. To answer the research question, we performed a hierarchical multiple regression analysis using the elderly Korean adults aged 55 or older. The results indicate that (1) females (vs. males) are more satisfied with their life; (2) the higher individuals' age, education and monthly household income, the higher their life satisfaction; and (3) their perceived usefulness of digital technology, self-efficacy in using digital devices, social interaction, and ability to distinguish information are positively associated with life satisfaction. The findings provide important implications to enhance life satisfaction of the elderly adults in the ICT era.

  • 연구 목적 : 본 연구의 목적은 디지털 대전환의 시대, 디지털 역기능에 따른 교회교육의 방향을 제언하기 위한 것이다. 연구 내용 및 방법 : 연구는 첫째, 디지털 대전환과 디지털 역기능에 대한 이해를 논하였다. 디지털 대전환은 우리의 주변을 구성하는 모든 것이 디지털 기반으로 바뀌면서, 기존과는 근본적으로 다른 차원의 세계로 변화한다는 것을 의미한다. 이러한 디지털 대전환의 시대에 디지털 역기능이 심화되고 있다. 둘째, 디지털 대전환의 시대 교육의 이슈와 교회교육을 논하였다. 학교에서 디지털 기술을 활용한 수업이 확산되고 있다. 하지만 디지털 기술이 수업 분위기를 해칠 뿐 아니라 읽기능력 등 기초 학력 저하를 유발한다는 우려가 학계에서 제기되고 있다. 교회교육은 디지털 교육이 교육의 트렌드로 부상하는 상황에서 변화하는 사회에서 도태될 수 있다는 두려움이 있다. 결론 및 제언 : 디지털 대전환의 시대 디지털 역기능에 따른 교회교육의 방향을 제언하였다. 첫째는 신앙공동체를 중심으로 하는 기독교 세계관 교육이다. 신앙공동체 안에서 다양한 신앙의 상호작용 경험을 통해 배우는 기독교 세계관 교육은 자본주의와 능력주의와 결부되어 위험에 처하게 될 디지털 시대를 비판적으로 사고하고 성찰하도록 하며, 미래 인공지능 시대와 디지털 역기능을 대비하는 교육의 역할을 할 수 있다. 둘째는 신앙공동체를 중심으로 하는 기독교적인 돌봄이다. 기독교인 돌봄은 디지털 대전환의 시대를 살아가면서 디지털 역기능에 의해 고통 받고 차별받고 소외되고 외로운 영혼들과의 진정한 만남을 형성하게 하고, 그들을 구원의 길로 인도할 수 있게할 것이다.

  • With the advent of Ubiquitous era, Korean government understood its strategic importance and formulated 'IT839 Strategies' with various action plans not to miss the great opportunities which it may allow and eventually to realize u-Korea. As a result, m-Commerce is actualized and new types of Ubiquitous services such as digital multimedia broadcasting(DMB) and wireless broadband Internet(WiBro) are now on their commercial stages. Digital contents are the key success factors of these new services. Digital contents industry is regarded as next generation of growth engine in the digital economy, because it is knowledge-based and high value-added global industry affecting positively on the whole private and public sectors. This paper reviewed the characteristics, business models, technical and market trend of digital contents to be compatible with Ubiquitous environment. Also, it reviewed the development strategies of DMB and WiBro services, which are newly introduced and commercialized in Korea to make it as world leader in these fields. It may be concluded that Korea should make more efforts to development market-oriented digital contents for Ubiquitous era and to realize the sustained economic growth.
