웨이브 디지탈 필터를 이용한 디지탈 필터뱅크의 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design of the Digital Filter Bank Using the Wave Digital Filters)

  • 본 논문은 WDF(Wave Digital Filter)를 이용한 8-채널 필터뱅크를 구성하는 새로운 방법에 대하여 연구한 논문이다. 지로WDF(Branching WDF)의 상보성(Complementary)을 이용하여 필터뱅크를 구성하는 방법은 일반적인 재래식 방법보다 소요필터 수를 줄일 수 있으며 DSP 칩(Digital Signal Processor Chip) 구성시 많은 기억소자(Memory)수를 줄일 수 있다. 본 논문에서 제안된 8-채널 필터뱅크의 구성방법은 기존의 논문보다 필터 수를 줄일 수 있었으며, 제안된 방법의 타당성 조사를 위하여 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션한 결과 동작이 양호함을 확인하였다.

A New Bank-card Number Identification Algorithm Based on Convolutional Deep Learning Neural Network

  • Recently bank card number recognition plays an important role in improving payment efficiency. In this paper we propose a new bank-card number identification algorithm. The proposed algorithm consists of three modules which include edge detection, candidate region generation, and recognition. The module of 'edge detection' is used to obtain the possible digital region. The module of 'candidate region generation' has the role to expand the length of the digital region to obtain the candidate card number regions, i.e. to obtain the final bank card number location. And the module of 'recognition' has Convolutional deep learning Neural Network (CNN) to identify the final bank card numbers. Experimental results show that the identification rate of the proposed algorithm is 95% for the card numbers, which shows 20% better than that of conventional algorithm or method.

DAC를 이용한 고해상도 DCO 설계 (Design of a High-Resolution DCO Using a DAC)

  • 기존에 ADPLL(All Digital Phase Locked Loop)에서는 DCO(Digitally Controlled Oscillator)의 해상도를 향상시키기 위해 주로 디더링(dithering) 기법이 사용되었다. 본 논문에서는 디더링 방식에서 발생하는 문제점을 보안하고자 DAC(Digital-to-Analog Converter)를 이용한 DCO의 해상도 확보 방법을 제안하였다. 주파수 컨트롤은 coarse와 fine 바랙터(varactor) bank 그리고 DAC 바랙터에 의해서 이루어지며, coarse와 fine bank는 PMOS 바랙터로, DAC 바랙터는 NMOS 바랙터로 구현하였다. 각 바랙터 bank는 8비트의 디지털 입력으로 컨트롤된다. $0.13{\mu}m$ CMOS 공정을 이용하여 설계된 DCO는 약 2.8GHz~3.5GHz의 주파수 범위에서 발진하며 660MHz의 대역폭을 갖는다. DCO의 출력 주파수를 측정한 결과 해상도는 2.8GHz대역에서 73Hz이다. 설계된 DCO는 1M 옵셋(offset)에서 -119dBc/Hz의 위상 잡음 특성을 보이며, 1.2V 전원에서 4.2mA의 전류를 소모한다. 칩 면적은 PAD를 포함하여 $1.3mm{\times}1.3mm$이다.

서비스 유형에 따른 카카오뱅크 이용 영향 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the affecting factors of Kakao Bank usage in terms of service types)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the adoption of Kakao Bank in terms of benefits (functional, social, experiential, economic benefits) and differentiated services (customization and service diversity) considering service types. Benefits are personal value consumers attach to the product or service attributes and, therefore, more important than attributes of service itself when using Kakao Bank in the internet based environment. Data was collected using an online and offline survey of 131 Kakao Bank users and analyzed the data using structural equation model (SEM). The results of empirical analysis using SmartPLS show that functional benefit, experiential benefit, and customization are significantly related to the user's satisfaction, but economic benefits, social benefit, and service variety are not. Customer's satisfaction are also showed significantly to be related to the all types of Kakao Bank usage(balance check, transfer, and other services). This study has the significance in that it examines the user's satisfaction and usage of Kakao Bank in terms of benefits and differentiated services while other studies analyzed banking services focusing on the attributes of banking channel itself.

중앙은행 CBDC에 대한 공공 및 민간 관점의 인식 비교연구- 한국 사례를 중심으로 (Comparison of Public and Private Perspectives on Central Bank CBDC - Focusing on Korean Case)

  • 가상화폐의 등장은 최근 발전하고 있는 분산원장기술과 함께 중앙은행에서 발행하는 CBDC(Central Bank Digital Currency)에 대한 관심을 고조시키고 있다. 최근 전자화폐의 등장으로 현금 사용이 지속적으로 감소 추이를 보이고 있으며, 일부 국가들(특히, 인구가 적은 편이며, 현금이용 감소에 따른 부작용이 우려되는 국가와 금융 포용수준이 낮은 일부 국가들의 경우)은 이미 중앙은행이 CBDC에 대한 발행을 결정하거나 시험단계에 있다. CBDC 발행이 도래하고 새로운 금융환경이 조성되는 상황에서 정부 및 공공기관의 이를 바라보는 인식이나 태도에 대한 연구는 많이 부족한 상황이다. 실제 정책 입안자들이나 실행자들이 인식하는 CBDC 제도에 대한 태도와 대안이 그 정책의 영향을 받는 일반 사람들이 생각하는 인식과 어떠한 공통점과 차이점이 있는지에 대해 충분히 연구 혹은 분석된 바가 없다. 따라서 본 연구는 빅데이터 분석 방법을 통하여 중앙은행의 CBDC에 대한 공공의 인식과 민간의 인식에 대해 비교해 보고 향후 CBDC의 도입과 관련한 여러 쟁점들을 미리 점검할 수 있는 기회가 될 것이다.

Digital Bank Channel Distribution: Predictors of Usage Attitudes in Jakarta's Gen Z

  • Purpose: The goal of this study is to examine what makes young people more likely to use digital banking. This is because digital banking services and their distribution channels are technologically advanced, which can be a double-edged sword between ease of use and resistance to technology. Research design, data and methodology: This study included 320 participants from generation Z in Jakarta who use digital bank and used a quantitative method with PLS-SEM. Results: This study explains how, in addition to usefulness, costs, and self-efficacy, resistance to technology has a direct effect on usage attitudes. Meanwhile, if the attitude of use is preceded by aspects of usefulness, self-efficacy, and awareness, resistance to technology will be felt indirectly. Conclusions: This demonstrated that most discussed factors, such as Ease-of-Use and security of use, are important for Generation Z users but no longer a major consideration in accepting digital banking. Aside from being more open to the use of technology in digital banks, Generation Z also desires a balance of technology services and benefits. The limitations of this study are that it excludes social variables, uses certain generations, and limits the research area to one large city, which can be expanded in future studies.

WLAN 응용을 위한 DAC를 이용한 Digitally Controlled LC Oscillator 설계 (Design of a Digitally Controlled LC Oscillator Using DAC for WLAN Applications)

  • 기존에 ADPLL(All Digital Phase Locked Loop)에서는 DCO(Digitally Controlled Oscillator)의 해상도를 향상시키기 위해 주로 dithering 기법이 사용되었다. 본 논문에서는 dithering 방식에서 발생하는 문제점을 보안하고자 DAC를 이용한 DCO의 해상도 확보 방법을 제안하였다. $0.13{\mu}m$ CMOS 공정을 이용하여 고해상도의 2.4GHz LC DCO를 무선 로컬 네트워크 통신에 적용 가능하도록 설계하였다. 설계된 DCO는 900MHz의 주파수 튜닝 범위를 가지고 발진하며 58.8Hz의 해상도를 보여준다. 주파수 컨트롤은 coarse, fine, DAC 배랙터 bank에 의해서 이루어지며, coarse와 fine bank는 PMOS 배랙터로, DAC bank는 NMOS 배랙터로 구성되었다. 각 배랙터 bank는 8비트의 디지털 입력으로 컨트롤된다. 설계된 DCO의 위상잡음은 1MHz 옵셋에서 -123.8dBc/Hz이다. 설계된 DCO는 공급전압 1.2V에서 4.2mA의 전류를 소모한다.

디지털뱅킹 플랫폼 기반 핀테크 사례 연구: 코스콤 (A Study on Digital Banking Platform-based FinTech Case: Koscom)

  • Recently, in the global financial transaction field, global transactions using computer systems and server hubs between foreign exchanges beyond the one-dimensional offline transactions and two-dimensional online transactions have been actively conducted. In the previous research by Lee Hyung-wook and Lee Min-jae (2018), as the globalization has accelerated following the development of digital technology and the expansion of ubiquitous communication network, the role of companies, the attribute of economic value creation and economic structure are being reorganized. It is said that O2O (Online to Offline) transactions are increasing due to the development. As a result, a new financial transaction paradigm is emerging that solves the inconveniences of existing financial services and enhances speed and convenience. Considering the global network trend and the rapidly developing and evolving digital bank environment, the necessity of utilizing the business platform model is emerging. However, despite this necessity, there are very limited cases in which such an attempt has been applied in practice. Accordingly, this study seeks to explore the business platform of the new financial transaction system. Specifically, the case study systematically examines the actual implementation of a unique network connection model with Koscom's global investment bank, which is currently in charge of the domestic financial transaction system, and improves ICT innovation performance and process through this. I would like to suggest a solution. In particular, this study analyzed a variety of business model construction and use cases by pursuing a platform connection with digital banks, which has recently been increasingly in demand. Therefore, this study intends to pursue the original and long-term profitability of the company by utilizing ICT innovation and platform business model, and also analyzes the convenience and excellence of trading for institutional and individual investors using the platform of digital bank. The implications of this study are significant in that it explores and explores the actual cases of ICT innovation and additional digital bank platform-connected business models based on this, and suggests a unique and preemptive business strategy of the company in the future.

시선추적장치를 활용한 은행 브랜드 로고의 시각적 주의집중도 분석 연구 (Analysis of Visual Attention in Bank Brand Logo using Eye-Tracking)

  • This study selected brand logos of six South Korean and Chinese banks including KB, IBK, SH, ICBC, ABC, and SISB, conducted Eye Tracking experiment among 36 South Korean and Chinese university students(Nine male and female students, respectively), and analyzed the difference of visual attention of consumers on bank brand logo, symbol, Korean/Chinese character logo types as well as the difference of visual attention of these consumers on English logo types. Results were represented by using statistics and visualization including GAZEPLOT, HEATMAP, and visual expression. Results showed that most generally gazed logo types more often and longer than symbols when they watched bank brand logos. A slight difference was observed between both groups in terms of gazing English logo types. This study has a implication that it proposed the possibility of drawing quantitative and reliable outcomes by utilizing eye tracking device and approaching in an objective standpoint beyond a methodological aspect on bank brand logo primarily leaning over the analysis of case research or design development. Moreover, findings are expected to serve as basic data for proposing the direction of special bank brand logo design and marketing strategies.

Design of M-Channel IIR Uniform DFT Filter Banks Using Recursive Digital Filters

  • In this paper, we propose a method for designing a class of M-channel, causal, stable, perfect reconstruction, infinite impulse response (IIR), and parallel uniform discrete Fourier transform (DFT) filter banks. It is based on a previously proposed structure by Martinez et al. [1] for IIR digital filter design for sampling rate reduction. The proposed filter bank has a modular structure and is therefore very well suited for VLSI implementation. Moreover, the current structure is more efficient in terms of computational complexity than the most general IIR DFT filter bank, and this results in a reduced computational complexity by more than 50% in both the critically sampled and oversampled cases. In the polyphase oversampled DFT filter bank case, we get flexible stop-band attenuation, which is also taken care of in the proposed algorithm.
