  • In This Study, we Analyze how the Market Orientation and Learning Orientation that can be Regarded as the Two core Factors of Small Business, Necessary for Companies to Grow Continuously Influence on Corporate Performance. This is an Empirical Study on the Influence of them. Small Companies have a Greater Impact on the Survival and Growth of Organization Commitment I Experienced that. In this Study, we Focused on the Mediating Effect of Organization Commitment when the Company's Market Orientation and Learning Orientation Influenced on the Corporate Performance as a Differentiated Element of Research. Research results have Revealed that Surprisingly, Small Companies Market Orientation and Influence on Corporate Performance. This is an Empirical Study on the Influence of them. Small Companies have a Greater Impact on the Survival and Growth of Organization Commitment I Experienced that. In this Study, we Focused on the Mediating effect of Organization Commitment when the Company's Market Orientation and Learning Orientation Influenced on the Corporate Performance as a Differentiated Element of Research. Research results have Revealed that Surprisingly, Small Companies Market Orientation and Learning Orientation had a Significant Influence on Corporate Performance. It was also Verified that Organization Commitment had Partially Mediated Effects. In Conclusion, as a Prerequisite for Small Enterprises to grow, we have to Create Market Oriented and Learning Oriented Organization and at the same time we should Strive to Ensure that all Organization Members have Attachment Relationships with their Organization. It is Understood that it must be. The Results of these Studies will be Helpful for not only Individuals who Prepare for Founding and Founded but also Start-up Related Officials.

Developing of Learning Attitude Examination Tool for Vocational College Students (전문대학생을 위한 학습태도검사)

  • The purpose of this study was to find a way to improve the basic learning ability of vocational college students and to develop the examination of learning attitude. This examination can be used at Center for Teaching and Learning as a previous step to find the strategy and effectiveness of learning. The examination of learning attitude which consisted of 33 questions was surveyed by 984 college freshmen. The survey revealed that five factors; effective content arrangement, priority and self-management, Check and improve of study habits, goal setting and implementation, learning plans have high interrelation(.53~.72). Especially, the more positive aptitude for their majors students had, the higher score they achieved in those five factors. According to general characteristics, there was significant difference among five factors. Therefore, if it is considered to run a differentiated Teaching and Learning method individually, it is expected to be more effective learning strategies.

A Study on a Case Applying Learner-Centered Flipped Learning for Coding Classes (코딩수업을 위한 학습자 중심의 플립드 러닝 적용 사례 연구)

  • This is a study on a case applying flipped learning to coding classes that is a college liberal arts course. A required coding class for the students who do not major in computers needs a teaching method differentiated from a coding education for training experts. The present study presented a flipped learning teaching model for the coding education of non-major students, and observed its effect and possibility. Flipped learning enables learners to learn with on-line contents anywhere and anytime they want and concentrate on practice education based on what they learned during class. Accordingly, the study sought for the solution to maximize the efficiency of teaching and learning through flipped learning. A pre and post surveys after applying a flipped learning to a practical class confirmed that the students taught using flipped learning were more positively assessed in learning satisfaction than those taught using a traditional method, and that in academic achievement as well, flipped learning was more effective.

Mediation Effects of Learning Attitude in the Influence of Self-directed Learning Ability and Collaborative Skill to Education Satisfaction in SW Education: Middle and High School Students in A City

  • This study aims to investigate the effect of self-directed learning ability and cooperative ability on educational satisfaction through learning attitude in SW education for middle and high school students. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on middle and high school students residing in A metropolitan city, and the responses of 321 students were analyzed. The main research results are as follows. First, male students' self-directed learning ability and learning attitude were statistically significantly higher than female students. High school students were statistically significantly higher in all variables than middle school students. Second, learning attitude was found to partially mediate the effect of self-directed learning ability on educational satisfaction. Third, learning attitude partially mediated the effect of cooperative ability on educational satisfaction. The results of this study suggest that to increase satisfaction with SW education, SW education strategies must be differentiated according to gender and school level, and instructional design that can promote the above three variables is required.

  • Data mining has empowered the managers who are charge of the tasks in their company to present personalized and differentiated marketing programs to their customers with the rapid growth of information technology. Most studies on customer' response have focused on predicting whether they would respond or not for their marketing promotion as marketing managers have been eager to identify who would respond to their marketing promotion. So many studies utilizing data mining have tried to resolve the binary decision problems such as bankruptcy prediction, network intrusion detection, and fraud detection in credit card usages. The prediction of customer's response has been studied with similar methods mentioned above because the prediction of customer's response is a kind of dichotomous decision problem. In addition, a number of competitive data mining techniques such as neural networks, SVM(support vector machine), decision trees, logit, and genetic algorithms have been applied to the prediction of customer's response for marketing promotion. The marketing managers also have tried to classify their customers with quantitative measures such as recency, frequency, and monetary acquired from their transaction database. The measures mean that their customers came to purchase in recent or old days, how frequent in a period, and how much they spent once. Using segmented customers we proposed an approach that could enable to differentiate customers in the same rating among the segmented customers. Our approach employed support vector regression to forecast the purchase amount of customers for each customer rating. Our study used the sample that included 41,924 customers extracted from DMEF04 Data Set, who purchased at least once in the last two years. We classified customers from first rating to fifth rating based on the purchase amount after giving a marketing promotion. Here, we divided customers into first rating who has a large amount of purchase and fifth rating who are non-respondents for the promotion. Our proposed model forecasted the purchase amount of the customers in the same rating and the marketing managers could make a differentiated and personalized marketing program for each customer even though they were belong to the same rating. In addition, we proposed more efficient learning method by separating the learning samples. We employed two learning methods to compare the performance of proposed learning method with general learning method for SVRs. LMW (Learning Method using Whole data for purchasing customers) is a general learning method for forecasting the purchase amount of customers. And we proposed a method, LMS (Learning Method using Separated data for classification purchasing customers), that makes four different SVR models for each class of customers. To evaluate the performance of models, we calculated MAE (Mean Absolute Error) and MAPE (Mean Absolute Percent Error) for each model to predict the purchase amount of customers. In LMW, the overall performance was 0.670 MAPE and the best performance showed 0.327 MAPE. Generally, the performances of the proposed LMS model were analyzed as more superior compared to the performance of the LMW model. In LMS, we found that the best performance was 0.275 MAPE. The performance of LMS was higher than LMW in each class of customers. After comparing the performance of our proposed method LMS to LMW, our proposed model had more significant performance for forecasting the purchase amount of customers in each class. In addition, our approach will be useful for marketing managers when they need to customers for their promotion. Even if customers were belonging to same class, marketing managers could offer customers a differentiated and personalized marketing promotion.

  • This study is aimed to develop adventure-game style learning program for offering different levels curriculum in mathematics and figure areas in elementary schools. The 7th mathematics curriculum introduced different levels curriculum considering learners' ability, aptitude, requirement, interest so that it could improve learners' growth potential and educational efficiency. But in reality, it is quite difficult to increase educational efficiency by conducting individual learning classes according to students' ability due to the big differences among students' levels in addition to high population in each classroom. The purpose of this study is to offer different levels curriculum based on van Hiele theory and develop adventure-game style learning program to increase interests of the learners. This program can improve students' academic achievement by offering differentiated curriculums to learners who need advanced or supplementary learning materials. And it also enhances leaners' spatial-perceptual ability by offering various operating activities in figures learning.

Effectiveness of G-learning Contents as an Educational Tool : The Analysis of G-learning Math in Elementary School (학습 도구로서 G러닝 콘텐츠의 활용과 학습 효과 분석 -초등학교 수학 교과 적용을 중심으로-)

  • G-learning, based on online game, virtual reality activities and communities, is considered as a fresh, differentiated idea at learning which drives learners' interest and attention. The paper is to analyzed effectiveness of G-learning at the mathematics classes in elementary school. Fourth, fifth and sixth grade students in Seoul are selected as an experimental groups and their achievement scores are measured. The difference between G learning group and textbook group was significant. This result shows that G-learning has a positive effect on learning.

  • Based on the problem of 'Tatanic - Machine Learning from Disaster', a representative competition of Kaggle that presents challenges related to data science and solves them, we want to see how data preprocessing and model construction affect prediction accuracy and score. We compare and analyze the features by selecting seven top-ranked solutions with high scores, except when using redundant models or ensemble techniques. It was confirmed that most of the pretreatment has unique and differentiated characteristics, and although the pretreatment process was almost the same, there were differences in scores depending on the type of model. The comparative analysis study in this paper is expected to help participants in the kaggle competition and data science beginners by understanding the characteristics and analysis flow of the preprocessing methods of the top score participants.

On the difference between 'weight' and "heaviness' in the sense of Piaget (Piaget의 의미로서 무게와 무거움의 차이에 대하여)

  • The article shows that the concept 'weight' and the concept 'heaviness' give rise to different abstractions in the sense of Piaget and that these two concepts are differentiated by set-theoretic devices. The failure of differentiation of these two concepts 'weight' and the 'heaviness' can cause the failure of learning of the difference between reflective abstraction and empirical reflective abstraction. To explain the Piagetian abstrcation in a classroom, the author suggests to use the concept 'color' instead of the concept 'weigtht'.
