A Study of Standardization on the Examination for a Diagrammatic Creativity (도형적 창의력 검사지의 표준화에 관한 연구 - 디자인 전공 학생을 대상으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide standardization on the examination that could measure students' diagrammatic creativity at design college. For this purpose, we tested college students, who was selected by educational system, regional, and grade groups to use the examination, and suggested the standardization criterion by analyzing these data. The data analysis procedures of this study consist of three step, the first that was to investigate the goodness of the examination paper, second step was to measure the reliability and the validity for the goodness of questions, the last step was to suggest the standardize scores for standardization on the examination. The results of the goodness and standardization analysis showed three structural factors(fluency, flexibility, originality) of this examination were proper to measure the diagrammatic creativity, and the proposed examination tool seemed to be good enough to apply in practice.

The Effect of Art Appreciation on the Development of Children's Creativity (미술 작품 감상 활동이 유아의 창의성 발달에 미치는 영향)

  • In this investigation of the effect of art appreciation on children's creativity, art appreciation activities were provided for 20 five-year-old kindergarten children over an 8-week period. Data collected with the use of the General Creativity Test for Children(Chon, 1995) were analyzed by t-test, ANCOVA and regression. Analyses revealed that the experimental group with the art appreciation activities developed a higher level of creativity on all scales of creativity, including originality, fluency, flexibility, and imagination and in all areas of physical, linguistic, and diagrammatic creativity. Boys were more creative than girls in imagination, originality and physical creativity.

  • According to the learning situation, the industrial design request is to diagrammatic creativity. The question of this study is to discover how to develop creative idea. The purpose of this study is to provide standardization-training program that could develop students'creative idea at Design College. For this purpose, we tested college students, who was divided into experimental group applied the training program and control group without it. And standardization creativity paper was used for the result to verify. The model of this study was selected 2 universities and 3 technical colleges with 352 persons in ail. The three hypotheses are made to achieve the direction of this study - training effective and different of an educational system, creativity effect. As the result of this study, the use of a training program has an affirmative in fluency (the creative idea) on the diagrammatic creative, and result of the goodness on the training effect.
