The stoichiometric mixture of evaporating materials for the $CaAl_2Se_4$: Co single crystal thin film was prepared from horizontal furnace. Using extrapolation method of X-ray diffraction patterns for the polycrystal $CaAl_2Se_4$, it was found orthorhomic structure whose lattice constant $a_0$, $b_0$ and $c_0$ were 6.4818, $11.1310{\AA}$ and $11.2443{\AA}$, respectively. To obtain the $CaAl_2Se_4$: Co single crystal thin film, $CaAl_2Se_4$: Co mixed crystal was deposited on throughly etched Si (100) by the HWE (Hot Wall Epitaxy) system. The source and substrate temperature were $600^{\circ}C$ and $440^{\circ}C$ respectively. The crystalline structure of $CaAl_2Se_4$: Co single crystal thin film was investigated by the double crystal X-ray diffraction (DCXD). Hall effect on this sample was measured by the method of Van der Pauw and studied on carrier density and mobility depending on temperature. From Hall data, the mobility was likely to be decreased by impurity scattering in the temperature range 30 K to 100 K and by lattice scattering in the temperature range 100 K to 293 K. The temperature dependence of the energy band gap of the $CaAl_2Se_4$: Co obtained from the absorption spectra was well described by the Varshni's relation, $E_g(T)=3.8239eV-(4.9823{\times}10^{-3}eV/K)T_2/(T+559K)$. The open-circuit voltage, short current density, fill factor, and conversion efficiency of $p-Si/p-CaAl_2Se_4$: Co heterojunction solar cells under $80mW/cm^2$ illumination were found to be 0.42 V, $25.3mA/cm^2$, 0.75 and 9.96%, respectively.

To measure the fatigue of metallic objects at high speed vibration while non-contact precision displacement measurement on how to have a lot of research conducted. Noncontact high-speed vibration detection sensor of the eddy current sensors and laser sensors are used, but it is very expensive. Recently, High-speed vibrations detection using an inexpensive inductive sensor to have been studied, but is still a beginner. In this paper, a new design of an inexpensive inductive proximity sensor has been suggested in order to measure high frequency dynamic displacements of metallic specimens in a noncontact manner. Detection of the existing inductive sensors, detection, integral, and amplified through a process to detect the displacement noise due to weak nature of analog circuits and integral factor in the process of displacement detection is slow. The proposed method could be less affected by noise, the analog receive and high-speed signal processing is a new way, because AD converter (Analog to Digital converter) without using the vibration frequency signals directly into digital signals are converted. In order to evaluate the sensing performance, The proposed sensor module using non-contact vibration signals were detected while shaker vibration frequencies from 30Hz to 1,100 Hz at intervals of vibrating metallic specimens. Experimental results, Vibration frequency detection range of the metallic specimins within close proximity to contactless 5mm could be measured from DC to 1,100Hz and vibration amplitude of the resolution was $20{\mu}m$. Therefore, the proposed non-contact inductive sensor module for precision vibration detection sensor is estimated to have sufficient performance.

Glomerular mesangial cells (GMCs) in diverse renal diseases undergo cell proliferation and/or hypertrophy, and gangliosides have been reported to play an important role in modulating cell structure and function. This study compared the effects of transforming growth $factor-\beta\; (TGF\beta1)$ and the effects of the application of exogenous gangliosides on GMCs and investigated whether the application of exogenous gangliosides regulated cellular proliferation and hypertrophy. Human GMCs were cultured with exogenous gangliosides and $TGF-\beta1$ in a media containing $10\%$ fetal bovine serum and in a media without the fetal bovine serum. Exogenous gangliosides biphasically changed the proliferation of human GMCs (0.1-1.0 mg/mL). A low concentration (0.1 mg/mL) of gangliosides mainly increased the number of human GMCs, whereas cellular proliferation was significantly reduced by raising the concentration of exogenous gangliosides. $TGF-\beta1$ greatly reduced the number of human GMCs in a concentrationdependent manner (1-10 ng/mL). Serum deprivation accelerated the gangliosides- and $TGF\beta1-induced$ inhibition of mesangial cell proliferation to a greater extent. Gangliosides (1.0 mg/ mL) and $TGF-\beta1$ (10 ng/mL) both caused a significant increase in the incorporation of $[^3H]leucine$ per cell in the serum-deprived condition, whereas it was completely reversed in serumsupplemented condition. Similar results to the $[^3H]leucine$ incorporation were also observed in the changes in cell size measured by flow cytometric analysis. These results show that exogenous gangliosides modulate cell proliferation and hypertrophy in cultured human GMCs, and these cellular responses were regulated differently based on whether the media contained serum or not. Results from the present study raise new possibilities about the potential involvement of gangliosides in the development of mesangial cell proliferation and hypertrophy.

In this research, it was developed an instructional analysis program by computer to support the improvement of teachers' inst겨ctional profession and was tested the efficiently of the program. This program include 6 modules such as Flanders' analysis, Tuckman's analysis, Movement pattern analysis, Concentration of instruction analysis, Analysis method for each factor and Users' training contents. It was made for all modules to guarantee the convenience of use, efficiency of analysis, customized support for each person, strengthening the training feature, standardization and continual updating. The results of instruction analysis are continuously stored as DB, which teachers can frequently confirm the improvement of class skill in daily or monthly base. It also is verγ small for the size of the program to sure that it works at a normal notebook computer or a lower performing desktop computer. The developed program was applied to actual classes for 2 months, and it was compared the difference of instruction efficiency before and after use the program to test the efficiency of the developed computer program. The result shows that this instructional analysis program could meaningfully improve the instruction efficiency. Therefore, if the program is used in school's Instructional supervision, it can be improved the instructional efficiency, which means that a teacher can teach students more confidently and systematically.
Orthognathic surgery changes patient's mandibular position and environment of related anatomic structures. Many clinicians were interested in these changes and studied about this problem. However, most of them were based on two dimensional cephalogram. According to the development of image and computer system, it would be possible that the airway change is analyzed with three dimensional CT. So we tried to measure the volumetric change of airway and analyzed the relationship between the airway structure and volumetric change. Nineteen patients who experienced orthognathic surgery due to mandibular prognathism were analyzed with 3D CT data (preoperative and postoperative 6 months) and 2D lateral cephalometry. Volumetric change was measured and 3 dimensional change of related structure was assessed with simulation program ($V-works^{(R)}$, 4.0 Cybermed, Korea). Ten patients showed the decrease of airway volume change and nine showed the increase of airway volume change. Volumetric change was determined by dimensional change of mandible and hyoid bone. The dimensional positions of mandible and hyoid bone were the key factor for determining the airway change after surgery. Airway change is also predictable with the dimensional change of mandible and hyoid bone.
This study investigated the effect of supportive nursing care including modified guided imagery on the discomfort, self- esteem, erythrocyte semdimentation rate(ESR) and quality of life(Q. L.) in persons with rheumatoid arthritis (R. A.). The purpose was to contribute to the development of theoretical nursing care to enhance the Q. L. of persons with chronic illness. From Nov. 22, 1990 to May 2, 1991, 49 patients registered at a rheumatic clinic at one general hospital in Seoul, were accepted according to the research criteria as subjects for this study. Among these, 26 were selected for an experimental group to he treated with an interpersonal interview and modified guided imagery, the other 23 became the control group not treated for the purpose of measuring and comparing the effect of the treatment. Statistical analysis was done by a SAS program for X$^2$-test, unpaired t -test, Pearson correlation coefficients and factor analysis. The results were as follows : 1. The pre-experimental discomfort level of the total subject group averaged 25.42(S. D. =8.77), and the difference between the pre /post experimental discomfort levels of the two groups was not statistically significant. 2. The pre - experimental self- esteem scores of the total subject group averaged 27.48(S. D. =3.95), and the difference between the pre /post experimental self -esteem scores of the two groups was not statistically significant. 3. The pre - experimental Q. L. scores of the total subject group averaged 28.70(S. D. =5.99), and the difference between the pre /post experimental Q. L. score of the two groups was statistically significant (t=2.1748, df=47, p= .0347), 4. The pre - experimental mean of the ESR of the total subject group was 34.48(S. D. =19.50) mm, and the difference between the pre /post expeimental ESR scores of the two groups was not statistically significant. 5. The Family support scores of the total subject group averaged 41.28(S. D. =10.27). 6. The total subject group 0.L. score was correlated with self-exteem score (r= .3984, p= .0046). In this study, supportive nursing care including modified guided imagery increased the quality of life scores for this group of persons with R. A. significantly. So the concept of supportive nursing care of this study may be effective in enhancing the quality of life persons with chronic illness. Further investigations related to the methodology and with other groups of clients was recommended.
In this paper, we developed a big data platform to store, process, and analyze effectively on such education longitudinal study data. And it was applied to the Seoul Education Longitudinal Study(SELS) to confirm its usefulness. The developed platform consists of data preprocessing unit and data analysis unit. The data preprocessing unit 1) masking, 2) converts each item into a factor 3) normalizes / creates dummy variables 4) data derivation, and 5) data warehousing. The data analysis unit consists of OLAP and data mining(DM). In the multidimensional analysis, OLAP is performed after selecting a measure and designing a schema. The DM process involves variable selection, research model selection, data modification, parameter tuning, model training, model evaluation, and interpretation of the results. The data warehouse created through the preprocessing process on this platform can be shared by various researchers, and the continuous accumulation of data sets makes further analysis easier for subsequent researchers. In addition, policy-makers can access the SELS data warehouse directly and analyze it online through multi-dimensional analysis, enabling scientific decision making. To prove the usefulness of the developed platform, SELS data was built on the platform and OLAP and DM were performed by selecting the mathematics academic achievement as a measure, and various factors affecting the measurements were analyzed using DM techniques. This enabled us to quickly and effectively derive implications for data-based education policies.

Objectives : This study was to investigate the antiarthritic effect of Hwallak-dan(Huoluo-dan) on the complete freund's adjuvant(CFA)-induced arthritis in Lewis rats. Methods : Arthritis was induced by intradermal injection of CFA into base of tail. Experimental groups divided into normal(n=10), control(n=10) and treated(n=10) group. Animals of control group received normal saline for twenty days, treated group received extracts Hwallak-dan(Huoluo-dan) for same duration, light mineral oil only injected non-arthritic rats were served as normal group. The incidence of arthritis and arthritic index were observed after treatment. Body weight, paw edema volume and thickness of ankle joint were measured at 0, 11, 14, 17, 20 days after treatment. White blood cell(WBC) counts in blood were analysed at 20 days after treatment and tumor necrosis $factor-{\alpha}(TNF-{\alpha})$, $interleukin-1{\beta}(IL-1{\beta}$), IL-6 contents in paw exudate were analysed by ELISA at 20 days after treatment. Histopathology on the ankle joint were performed at 20 days after treatment. Results : 1. Incidence of arthritis of treated group was 60% and control group was 100% at 20 days after treatment. 2. Arthritic index of treated group was significantly decreased compared with control group at 20 days after treatment. 3. Paw edema volume and thickness of ankle joint of treated group was significantly decreased compared with control group at 20 days after treatment. 4. Total WBC of treated group was significantly decreased compared with control group at 20 days after treatment. 5. Neutrophils of treated group was significantly decreased compared with control group at 20 days after treatment. 6. $TNF-{\alpha}$ content in paw exudate of treated group was significantly decreased compared with control group at 20 days after treatment. 7. $IL-1{\beta}$ content content in paw exudate of treated group was significantly decreased compared with control group at 20 days after treatment. 8. IL-6 content content in paw exudate of treated group was significantly decreased compared with control group at 20 days after treatment. 9. Histopathological arthritic index of treated group was significantly decreased compared with control group at 20 days after treatment. Conclusions : These results indicate that Hwallak-dan(Huoluo-dan) has inhibitory effect on the development and progression of CFA-induced arthritis in rats.
In this research, students majoring in public health were tested with their interpersonal and emotional intelligence and its impact on psychological well being, studied by identifying the factors to promote and foster the students' emotions. The survey was conducted from May 15, 2003 for two weeks using only students majoring in Public Health. Factor analysis, emotional intelligence, emotion regulation, self-emotional awareness, emotions, taking advantage of others and emotional awareness was divided into four sub-factors. Emotional regulation and emotional advantage and recognition had a positive impact on interpersonal relationships, psychological wellbeing and emotional self-awareness. Emotional impact showed a positive advantage. On emotional intelligence, interpersonal factors that influence others and emotional awareness was highest in the psychological process. Students improve their interpersonal relationships and promote a more psychological well being as the emotion of anger and ability to set goals and to motivate efforts to strengthen the emotional awareness is more important. College students studying in Department of Health Services, as well as medical professionals provide better health care services for the sake of happiness that can inspire a systematic program development and is considered to require constant attention.
Purpose - This study is to propose a creative idea for constant business growth and development by examining characteristics of business outcomes by phase, which are "growth" and "erosion and stagnation," respectively. Research design, data, methodology - It is necessary to identify an occurrence of crisis and its diffusion with a dynamic model in order to identify a success and failure of businesses in an organic way, not on a binary structure. The static perspective is to understand a crisis as a simply one-time event or as a linear causation. Thus, it has a limited understanding of the overall situation and has limits to investigating a foundational cause and developing long-term countermeasures. On the contrary, the dynamic perspective is to understand the crisis as circulation process of the overall system. Thus, it divides elements of the crisis as external and internal ones to understand it as the causal relationship of each element. Results - During the growth period of Burger King, the company promoted its brand very successfully with aggressive and creative marketing activities. However, due to the founder's disposal of management rights and the following changes in the management, the company had no choice but to lose focus on its business philosophy and brand management, and eventually it had to face the big crisis (resonance) which was delisting from the stock market because of the external threat; well-being trend. However, Burger King resumed lifting on the stock exchange by making great efforts to clearly identify the current issues and seek solutions. Under the spirit of "perseverance" and its slogan "Have it your way" the company is now going head to head with McDonald's in the North American region and emerging countries. Conclusions - Then, what is the most crucial factor in the success and failure of businesses? Answers may vary, however, as learned from the case study of Burger King, corporations should inspect the present and focus on developing a long-term strategy for the future and actively fulfill the actions. McDonald's may not be able to innovate by itself in the future as it may become routinized to the growth. There will be chances of winning if we change conditions of individuals or organizations to an organic system in terms of being creative. There is a hopeful message here that an individual or small business may have more advantages in the era of the idea and innovation.
