A series of system dynamics model was developed for forecasting demand and supply of human resource in the electricity industry. To forecast demand of human resource in the electric power industry, BLS (Bureau of Labor Statistics) methodology was used. To forecast supply of human resource in the electric power industry, forecasting on the population of our country and the number of students in the department of electrical engineering were performed. After performing computer simulation with developed system dynamics model, it is discovered that the shortage of human resource in the electric power industry will be 3,000 persons per year from 2006 to 2015, and more than a double of current budget is required to overcome this shortage of human resource.

To solve the traffic problems of small cities like Chung Ju City, electronic communications equipment and the introduction of advanced technologies are being used or promoted. Other local areas with developed systems in place are being investigated for applicability. Systems like these will be introduced. This system will embody an organized, efficient transportation and safety system within this study At the moment, to solve the problem of reoccurring traffic in small towns in our country, we must develop an ITS service. We are now in the process of selecting and establishing the most adaptable ITS service to a small city For this purpose, we have studied existing records; taken a poll of the citizens of Chung Ju; examined present traffic conditions, examined road capacities; and reviewed available means of transportation. To accomplish the purpose of a thesis like this, we will research and analyze developed nations' and domestic cities' existing systems, construction and operation. We are in the process of building an ITS System which is the most adaptable to a small city like Chung Ju.

Our country has experienced variations in temperature as belong to the area of the continental climate that shows four significant seasons. These occur immense difficulty on the period, cost, quality of construction. As the hydration of cement processes, the strength of concrete is developed. In order to improve the quality of concrete, various conditions including temperature and humidity should be maintained appropriately and concrete itself should be cured sufficiently. In the early age, the strength of concrete is developed remarkably. However, the hydration is accelerated too much in high temperature or delayed too much in low temperature, so the quality can be changed and It can fail to get the objective strength. This paper aims to offer the data, necessary to the quality control handbook.

It is possible to implement high quality system which coincided with embedded system purchaser's requirements by quality test. The concrete quality test system applicable within our country for embedded software was not constructed yet. Recently, various embedded systems are developed, but they have many problems such as recall by defect. In this paper, we developed evaluation modules and quality test fables which can implement duality test based on ISO/IEC 12119 for embedded software evaluation.

The first Type Certificate project for small airplane is in progress in the Republic of Korea. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare the circumstances that the airplane developed and certificated by this country will exported to foreign countries and operated in the world. One of the main items to be prepared is the systems related with continuing airworthiness of aircraft during the operation. From this point of view, the systems and corresponding capabilities to maintain the aircraft to continue the flight and safe landing will be the immediate work. This study is to review the continuing airworthiness system established by foreign countries such as USA FAA and European EASA and to propose how we will setup our continuing airworthiness system for the airplane developed and certificated by the Republic of Korea.

War-game modeling and simulation system have been developed and applied to virtual tactical training both inside and outside of country However, most existing models have been developed for individual purpose based on the simple platform modeling such as physical modeling, visual modeling, and conceptual modeling. Thus, those modeling and simulation system cannot support the interoperability, expensively, variety and reusability. To deal with these problems, the paper propose an integrated design methodology for the War-game systems based on the DEVS/HLA.

The performance evaluation of system can be divided into software and hardware. Recently, many hardware evaluations have been developed as many fields, however, performance of software without any solution have been also developed. As a matter of cource, in a foreign country, software development tools and methodologies related to problems of performance engineering are suggested by paying much attentions on the software performance engineering. However in Korea, researches on those issues are wholly lacking. Therefore, in this paper, a software development methodology will be discussed and its contents will be compared as well.

Due to the fact that high speed railroad will be opened to traffic and TSR and TCR will be connected to Korean railroad network in near future, the efficient operation methods of Railroad freight transportation have been embossed as a matter of concern. But, it is true that the present level of our railway infrastructures and operation systems are still low. This study examines the freight transportation system and introduces new logistic service systems including network strategies and terminals which are haying developed overseas to increase the efficiency of existing railroad transportation system. In case of giving careful consideration to the new methods, it is expected that the high developed freight transportation systems will be applicable to our country.

DCS (Distributed Control System) is adapted in the most fossil power plant in our country but that is not true in the nuclear power plant (NPP) because of the safety problem. KEPRI has developed many simulators for the training of the operators working in power plants. With this accumulated high technology we are developing a DCS simulator for the performance verification of the developed DCS for the make-up demin-water treatment system of Kori #3&4. In this paper we explain how we develop the system model and show a simulation result.

Most recent programs in and out of the country are related to urban renewal projects. Contemporary project management information systems have been developed was to manage single or multiple projects focusing on their construction phase, and those have limitations to apply to large-scale complicated mega projects. So, this study explain the core concept of decision support modules for iPMIS (Intelligent Program Management Information System) and its major functions to support project owner and participants by introducing ontology in the web environment. This study confined the scope of research to the planning phase of urban environment improvement projects. Ontological logic structure and relation about planning works is essential parts and three functions to implement decision support module are developed.
