This paper describes the parting and Boolean operations for a pseudo-solid model of a plastic part, and their application to injection mold design. Here, a pseudo-solid model means a sheet model that looks like a solid model, but its boundary is not closed. When a solid model created in a different CAD system is imported through a standard data exchange file format, in most cases, a pseudo-solid model may be created due to tolerance or some other problems. However, most existing mold design systems based on solid modeling kernels require a complete part solid model. Therefore, mold designers have to do time-consuming healing operations to convert a pseudo-solid to solid. To eliminate or reduce the healing pre-process for mold design, in this paper, we proposed the parting and Boolean Operations on pseudo-solid part models. This paper also describes their detailed implementation and a case study.

Pants is an item of clothes of which physical suitability for improvement of appearance and movement is greatly emphasized. The pattern design of pants is very important because the fitness of crotch region, which is difficult to measure, is structurally essential in pants. This study gives detailed pattern development data for the future pattern design by considering design factors related with crotch region of pants and by suggesting related data. For this study, we measured and analyzed the measuring size of each parts of pattern and the design methods related with crotch region selecting 20 textbooks used in universities and institutes of higher education. Through this study, crotch region of pants pattern related design data were obtained and this result could be a primary information in development and education of pants pattern.

In this paper, we conduct a study on the design that can secure the safety of the EPLA system by performing safety activities based on the ISO 26262 standard for vehicle functional safety. In the case of a company developing a detailed system, it is responsible for verification through hardware design and safety analysis in the overall flow of safety activities, and safety analysis according to the ASIL safety level must be properly performed. At this time, there are cases where the safety goal quantitative metric value suggested by the ISO 26262 standard cannot be satisfied only by the hardware design of the basic function, so it is necessary to design and install the safety mechanism. Based on ISO 26262 safety activities, it is possible to derive an effective design plan through hardware safety analysis.

This paper describes the architecture, the basic operation principle and detailed experimental results of digitally programmable high-voltage generators that can be used in monolithic low-power high-voltage bistable LCD drivers. Two different design approaches, depending on whether the application allows the use of external passive components or not, are analyzed.

This distinction is necessary in order to provide the appropriate separation of and detailed focus on process activities while still providing acceptable interfaces for the upload of data and the download of instructions, recipes, or commands.

The purpose of this study is analyzing temporal flow about 20 detailed performance items in the "Housing Performance Grading Indication System". This study try to figure out situations according grade in detailed performance item and to analyze change item about 112 cases(2 cases in 2006, 15 cases in 2007, 46 cases in 2008, 49 cases in 2009), from January 9, 2006 which system is undertaken, to October, 2009. This system consists of 5 main performance section, 14 performance categories and 20 detailed performance items. 5 main performance parts are Noise and Acoustics(Light-weight impact sound control, heavy-weight impact sound control, sound control of toilet, sound control of party wall), Long-life(flexibility, remodeling & maintenance, durability), Landscape & Indoor Environment(landscape, formaldehyde control & ventilation, daylighting, thermal environment), Welfare & Barrier-free(playground and community center, welfare space, barrier-free design), Fire Safety(fire safety, safe place, fire-resisting quality). Total efficiency about housing can understand systematically of 20 perfomance items though this research.

일차원 ZND 데토네이션 구조 해석 모델의 연장선상에서 경사 충격파와 경사 데토네이션 파에 대하여 Rankine-Hugoniot 관계식과 반응속도를 연계한 이차원 경사 데토네이션 파의 구조해석 모델을 제시하였다. 이에 기반을 두어 삼중점, 횡단 충격파 및 셀 구조를 포함하는 경사 데토네이션 파의 비정상 상세 구조를 조사하기 위한 이차원 유체역학 해석을 수행하였다. 전산 유체 해석 결과는 경사 데토네이션 파의 상세구조에 대한 깊이 있는 이해를 제공하며, 해석 모델은 경사 데토네이션 파를 연소 메커니즘으로 이용하는 극초음속 추진기관의 통합 설계도구로 이용될 수 있을 것이다.
