현재 국내에서 가장 많이 쓰이는 분산 미들웨어 기술은 크게 세가지로 구분할 수 있다. OMG(Object Management Group)의 CORBA(Common Object Request Broker Architecture), 마이크로 소프트사의 DOCM/COM+ 그리고 썬(SUN)사의 EJB(Enterprise Java Beans)이다. 이 분산 미들웨어 기술들은 분산환경에서 시스템들간의 운영체제나 프로그래밍 언어에 관계없이 객체 서비스를 제공하여 독립적이고 표준화된 환경을 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 한국통신 초고속사업 중 NMS HelpDesk System(고장관리시스템)의 구축사례를 소개한다. 개발된 시스템은 분산 미들웨어 기술을 이용하여 DCOM/COM 응용시스템, CORBA 서버, 데이터베이스 응용시스템, 그리고 최종 운영자용 웹 인터페이스 시스템 둥으로 구성된 대규모 분산시스템이다.

This paper describes an LED module for a desk lamp using 1[W] high flux while LEDs. The optimum length of the module is obtained from the lighting simulation of the target area of $500{\times}500[mm]$ on the desk, which in turn determines an optimum separation between LEDs. The main issue is to find the optimum separation which gives good illuminance uniformity and high coefficient of utilization at at various reflector structures. Two module configuations of linear and ring types are compared. As a result, good illuminance uniformity is obtained in the case of the ring module. The mofied twin type, however, gives better performance than the ring module, and shows the most performance at an separation angle of around $30^{\circ}$.

The historical consciousness of furniture is one of the crucial elements that become the medium for initiating design. Also, it is an important task of the science to figure out the headstream of furniture being used these days. From this purpose, this study intends to understand the bureau that has not been studied much in terms of the headstream and changes based on historical facts centering around England, France, or America regarding the forms or terms. These points are expected to be used as the foundational research data to develop the science and products.

This paper is a part of the development on the safe navigation model of tugs and barges in Korea waters. desk-top tug-barge simulator is to train the crew of tugs and barges, especially tugs' crew. It is connected with steering and engine telegraph console and winch control console, and can describe three types of operation mode for a tug-barge working unit, towing mode, side by side and push mode. It can also record and assess each simulation run. The evaluation module can confirm the result of a finished simulation run and help trainees to find and correct their faults, and it is composed of result evaluation and process evaluation.

분산된 조직들 간의 다양한 업무정보의 효율적 교환과 제품제조정보의 자유로운 유통은 생산성향상에 크게 기여한다. 이를 위해 인터넷기반 'Manufacturing Desk'를 개발하여 분산된 제조조직들 사이에서 제품생산과정 중 발생하는 문제를 효율적으로 해결하고 제조정보의 원활하고 신속한 공유 및 흐름을 유지하고 궁극적으로 제조조직의 생산성을 높일 수 있도록 하였다. 이를 위해 자동차의 프레스금형 생산을 대상으로 사례기반 추론과 검색을 구현하였다. 실시간으로 제조조직들을 연계하여 업무효율성을 높이기 위해 Net Meeting의 기능을 구축하였다.
