유한모집단에서 가중평균에 포함된 가중치의 효과 (Weighting Effect on the Weighted Mean in Finite Population)

  • 표본조사에서 가중치는 설계 단계와 분석 단계에서 만들어지고 부여될 수 있다. 설계 단계의 가중치는 추출확률이나 응답률 등과 같은 표본 데이터 획득 지표에 관련되어 있고 분석 단계의 가중치는 모집단 수치나 다른 보조 변수정보 등과 같은 외적인 정보와 관련되어 있다. 그리고 최종가중치는 설계 단계의 가중치와 분석 단계의 가중치의 곱으로 만들어진다. 이 논문에서는 분석 단계에서 부여되는 가중치에 초점을 맞추어 가중평균으로 모평균을 추정할 때 가중평균에 포함된 가중치가 모평균 추론에 미치는 영향을 고찰하였다. 유한모집단에서 각 조사단위에 조사변수와 가중치가 쌍으로 있고 표본추출확률이 균등한 경우를 가정하였다. 이러한 조건에서 가중평균의 편향과 평균제곱오차를 구하여 가중평균은 모평균의 편향 추정량임을 보였고, 편향의 방향과 크기는 조사변수와 가중치의 상관관계로 설명할 수 있음을 보였다. 즉, 만일 가중치와 조사변수가 양의 상관관계가 있으면 가중평균은 모평균을 과대 추정하게 되고, 만일 음의 상관관계가 있으면 모평균을 과소 추정하게 된다. 그리고 두 변수의 상관계수가 크면 편향은 증가한다. 가중평균에 대한 이론적인 수식 유도와 함께 편향의 크기와 평균제곱오차의 크기를 수치적으로 검토하기 위하여 모의실험을 실시하였다. 모의실험에서는 상관계수가 -0.2과 0.6사이에 있는 9개의 가중치를 생성하였고, 표본수는 100부터 400까지 고려하여 편향의 크기와 평균제곱오차의 크기를 수치적으로 구하였다. 하나의 결과로써 상관계수가 0.55이고 표본수가 400인 경우에 가중평균의 편향의 제곱이 평균제곱오차에서 차지하는 비율은 무려 82%에 이르는 것으로 나타났는데, 이는 가중평균의 편향이 어떤 경우에는 매우 심각할 수도 있음을 보여주는 것이다.

폴리프로필렌 섬유 보강 EVA 콘크리트의 압축강도 및 내구성 (The Compressive Strength and Durability Properties of Polypropylene Fiber Reinforced EVA Concrete)

  • The important properties of EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) redispersible polymer was waterproof, densification of internal pore space of concrete and ball bearing and micro filler. Also, the significant role of polypropylene(PP) fiber was crack control and blockade of movement for deterioration factors. The most studies for EVA were limited in the field of mortar and PP fiber reinforced concrete had been studied in the state of being restricted unit water content, rich mix and mixing much of the fiber without considering construction site. Therefore, the control mix design were applied in ready mixed concrete using 10 % fly ash of total cement weight used in batch plant. On the basis of control mix design, EVA contents ranging from 0 % to 10 % of total cement weight and PP fiber contents ranging from 0 % to 0.5 % of EVA concrete volume were used in the mix designs. The results showed the maximum compressive strength value was measured at EVA 5.0 % and PP fiber 0.1 %, the minimum water absorption ratio was at EVA 10 % and PP fiber 0 %, the durability factor for freezing and thawing resistance was at EVA 5.0 % and PP fiber 0.3 % and the minimum weight reduction ratio of resistance to sulfuric acid attack was at EVA 10 % and PP fiber 0.5 % after curing age 42days. Meanwhile, From these results, PP fiber reinforced EVA concrete would be very benefit, if each optimal mix types were used in hydraulic structures, underground utilities and agricultural structures.

메타모델기반최적화를 이용한 아우터타이로드의 경량화 설계 (Lightweight Design of an Outer Tie Rod Using Meta-Model Based Optimization Technique)

  • 조향계부품인 아우터타이로드 조립체에 대하여 경량화를 위한 최적화를 수행하였다. 지금까지의 아우터타이로드의 최적설계해석에서는 인너타이로드가 제외되었으나 본 연구에서는 조립체에 대한 최적화를 실시함으로써 실제 시험모드와 동일한 조건을 묘사하였다. 경량화 재료는 알루미늄 단조재이며 최적화 대상은 좌굴하중에 견딜수 있는 최소 중량의 아우터 타이로드 조립체의 형상이다. 형상 최적화 기법으로는 비선형 모델의 최적화 기법인 반응표면법과 크리깅 내삽법을 적용하였으며 초기모델 대비 각각 16.3%, 16.6%의 중량 감소 효과를 얻을 수 있었다. 근사모델로부터 얻은 최적설계 모델은 유한요소 해석을 통하여 검토한 결과 좌굴하중 예측치는 각각 2.6% 2.04% 중량예측치는 0.17% 0.13%의 오차를 가지고 있어 크리깅 기법 근사 모델이 더욱 최적해에 가까운 결과를 도출할 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

  • The purpose of this study is to improve productivity of architectural space planning(A.S.P,) by computer system and to optimize ASP. A searching algorithm is the best way to slave optimized A.S.P. Because architectural design is too many various site situations and client's demands to specify the general solving methods. But, case of Gangnamgu and Songpagu is thought that environment and utilization etc. of area life of old people are affinity with quality of life environment of old people when see that is using various area facilities using electric railway and a bus etc. actively. It is looked by the other that individual's special quality uses area facilities according to life partner's existence and nonexistence and family composition and existence and nonexistence of profession and distinction of sex. Show difference of external behavior according to public garden and market and supermarket and welfare facilities etc.'s location in dwelling environment of area and relation about facilities of area has been formed and old people and dwelling environment of area can know that is that do interaction. Environment that access about facilities may have to be easy, and can live that communicating closely with area's inhabitantses may have to consist so that old people may can run various external life.. Notions of the evaluated value is an profit(+) and expense(-) that decide design intention. To adapt real planning, 1. A raster type space cell has logical site informations. 2. To be evaluate various factor. 3. To reflect operator's design mind, they should add an extra weight on evaluated value.

점용접 위치의 최적화를 위한 CAD Tool 개발 (Development of CAD tool for optimal spot weld joints)

  • Spot welding palys a key role in increasing productivity and weight reduction of the final products. This paper proposes a systematic approach on the design of spot weld configuration, dealing with the requried number and location of spot weld joints under the given design parameters, such as the applied loads, lap area, and individual spot weld strength. The optimal design of a spot-welded joint is postulated as a state when the safety factors of all spot weld points (i) are evenly distributed and (ii) reach maximum value. A CAD program is developed to arrange the optimal location of each spot weld based on the derived objective function and constraints. The CAD tool integrates the optimization procedure with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) code through an interface. The interface automatically provides geometrical data and mesh configuration for different spot weld locations to FEA model. It also extracts the transmitted load of each spot weld from the FEA code, and allows the optimization code predict an improved arrangement of spot weld locations. The feasibility of the developed approach is demonstrated by the selected examples.

굴삭기 유압 주행시스템의 복합유성기어 시스템 설계개선 연구 (Design Improvement for a Planetary Gear System in Hydraulic Drive System)

  • Planetary gear systems have several advantages over traditional gearboxes with parallel axis gear shafts. The planetary gearbox arrangement also creates greater stability due to the even distribution of mass and increased rotational stiffness. However, gears in planetary gear systems occasionally have a short-life due to wear and breakage by repetitive load during operation time. In this study, we evaluated variables of the strength design for each part and conducted structural analysis of seven cases of the planetary gear system. The result of structural analysis was applied to shape optimization method and obtaining the weight lightening designed value. Subsequently, the planetary gear system was performed to ensure the durability of gears during operation time with miner's rule.

고압한류퓨즈의 최적 차단을 위한 설계변수의 영향 (The Effects of Design Parameter to Interrupt Optimally for High Voltage CL Fuse)

  • The fuse used in the high voltage distribution line often fails due to the active ionization caused by the strong electric field at fuse terminal. To suppress the ionization at the high voltage and high capacity current limiting fuse, the particle size and compactness of silica sand, the design, length, notch number and material of element, the diameter and length of fuse body must be considered carefully. However, these are not many proper which is treated with the inherent interrupting characteristics from many parameters at present. Because of these reasons, time and effort are needed to develop the new type fuse by the fuse designers in relation with the inherent characteristics from each of parameters. In this paper we choose 7 parameters with weight value based on study and experimentation and analyzed the characteristics of arcing period. In addition, we proposed the experimental method to experimentation and analyzed the characteristics of arcing period. In addition, we proposed the experimental method to extract the optimal design parameters with minimal effort as related the mutual effect from each of the parameters.

  • From the discovery of Alago's disk, a number of trials and efforts have been concentrated on a small-sized and light-weighted induction motor. They have devoted themseleves, however, mainly to a improvement of cooling effect, a proper weight-distribution of copper and iron and desirable number of slots. In consequence, such an effort restricted only to the field of design, has resulted in unsatisfactory developments in the insulating materials consisting of the main parts of an induction motor. The quality of fibre and paper which are used as class-A insulation materials with their "compound" and "varnish" has been increased to some extent. Similarly Class-B insulation materials like asbest mica has been almost a combination of inorganic and binding materials. But nowadays synthesic chemistry is making a remarkable progress. So it comes possible for us to have silicon resin and other good ones of similar charateristics. And even a thin silicon resin insures us to get excellent heat-pro f and insulation, so a better space factor and cost-down in motor design have come possible in most advanced nations of the world, but not in our country. Furthermore, a consideration of productivity and economy in manufacturing process has been neglected by a majority of engineers. This is more unpleasant und more undesirable. I think this rational method of induction motor design using new synthesic resin will devote in making your productivity and economy better. How to Enhance Perceived Usefulness, Ease of Use, and Fit of Wearables: An Exploratory Study about the Physical Attributes of Smart Wristbands and Smartwatches

  • Wearable devices, attached to the human body, track and enhance users' activities, health, and communication. Therefore, considering ergonomic factors in product design is crucial. However, previous research has somewhat overlooked the importance of integrating ergonomic design elements into a broad spectrum of design factors. This study aims to examine the impact of physical attributes inherent in smart wristbands and smartwatches on the perceived functional value, specifically, perceived usefulness, ease of use, and fit. A survey was conducted among 289 US adults who had experience using smart wristbands or smartwatches. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, t-test, MANOVA, and regression analysis in SPSS version 29. The results showed that the shape of the front display significantly influenced perceived ease of use, and the product's weight had a substantial impact on both perceived ease of use and fit. Furthermore, distinct technical features on the front display had varied effects on perceived usefulness, ease of use, and fit. Notably, the presence of activity tracking, alarm, and calendar functionalities led to distinct differences in ease of use and fit. Features such as distance tracking, phone call, social media notifications, text messaging, and time display functions showed significant influences on the perception of fit. These findings provide insights into the physical values of smart wristbands and smartwatches as perceived by users.

스톤마사지 테라피가 복부비만의 감소에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Stone Massage Therapy on Abdominal Obesity Reduction)

  • This study has the purpose to examine the effects of stone massage therapy on abdominal obesity reduction. 10 sessions for 5 weeks two times a week of stone massage therapy were offered to 43 adult females who were 40s through 70s with 27% or more of body fat and the results were analyzed. The body composition like body fat mass, fat free mass, weight and skeletal muscular mass etc and the degrees of obesity like body fat ratio abdominal fat ratio were measured and analyzed before and after stone massage therapy. The results are as follows: First, the subjects were obese body type and stone massage therapy produced positive effects with body fat mass, fat free mass, weight and BMI value slightly less than before the therapy. Second, as the average values of body fat ratio and waist hip ratio of subject were significantly different statistically before and after the therapy, stone massage therapy was found to be effective in reducing abdominal obesity. Third, as for the change of waist hip ratio, the therapy was found to be effective in reducing waist hip ratio that 40s decreased insignificantly after the therapy, and 50s and 60s significantly at p<0.05 level respectively from 0.92 to 0.90 and from 0.93 to 0.92. In conclusion, the results of this study indicated that stone massage therapy has positive effects on abdominal obesity reduction, and can contribute to healthy life and well-being culture.
