The Design of Path Length Controller in Ring Laser Gyroscope for Attitude Control in the LEO satellite (저궤도 위성 자세제어를 위한 자이로의 광경로 제어기 설계)

  • The Ring Laser Gyro makes use of the Sagnac effect within a resonant ring cavity of A He-Ne laser and has more accuracy than the other Gyros. The Low Earth Orbit satellite for observatory use require the high accuracy Gyro to control and determine the altitude because of the need of payload pointing accuracy. In this paper, The theory of the Path Length Control is explained. The electrical design of Path Length Controller is described. The Design for Path Length Controller is composed of the demodulator, Integrator, Phase shifter, High Voltage Amplifier. We apply the circuit to 28cm square ring laser gyro and get the test results.

  • This paper proposed a m.Sketch to search the optimal link lengths for a legged walking robot. In order to apply the m.Sketch for the proposed, set the design parameters of the constraints and use the m.Skecth to get optimal GL(Groud Length) and GAC(Ground Angle Coefficient). The legged robot designed based on four-bar linkage theory and Theo Jansen mechanism. The stride length of the legged walking robot was defined based on the proposed kinematic analysis. Use the Edison Design m.Sketch simulate and find the optimal link length having the best of the Ground Length (GL) and Ground Angle Coefficient(GAC). And use these length implemented the Theo Jansen mechanism both in Science box parts and acrylic. In addition to the further expansion of the legs to reach the goaltranslating heavy objects or person.

Supersonic Plug Nozzle Design and Comparison to the Minimum Length Nozzle Configuration

  • A method to design the contour and conception of a plug nozzle of arbitrary shape, but specified exit flow conditions is presented. Severals shapes can be obtained for exit Mach number by changing the specific heats ratio. The characteristics of the nozzle in terms of length, weight and pressure force exerted on the wall are compared to the Minimum Length Nozzle and found to be better. Our field of study is limited to the supersonic mode to not to have the dissociation of the molecules. The design method is based on the use of the Prandtl Meyer function of a perfect gas. The flow is not axial at the throat, which may be advantageous for many propulsion applications. The performance benefits of the plug nozzle compared to the Minimum Length Nozzle are also presented.

  • In this paper, The experimental study on the crack during press forming of the door latch assembly for a vehicle door is performed. Length to be inserted into the conventional mold upper die punch is 20 mm, wherein the cracks are generated on the product surface and causes a secondary quality problem. In this study, the length to be inserted in the mold upper die punch 0 mm, 10 mm, 20 mm, which was changed to perform the experiment. Through the experiment, the length inserted into the mold can be seen that the upper die punch of the press forming conditions optimized when the 0 mm.

  • The reheating of the billet in the semi-solid state as quickly and homogeneously as possible is one of the most important aspects. From this point of view, an optimal design of the induction coil is necessary. The objective of inductive coil designsi a uniform induction heating over the length of the billet. The effect of coil length, diameter, the gap between coil surface and billet and axial position of the billet on temperature distribution of billet has been investigated. These design parameters have an important effectiveness on the electro-magnetic field. Therefore, in this study an optimal coil design to minimize electromagnetic ed effect will be proposed by defining the relationship between billet length and coil length. In particular, key point in induction heating process is focussed on optimizing the coil design with regard to the size of the heating billet and the frequency of induction heating system. After demonstrating the suitability of an optimal coil design through the FEM simulation of the induction heating process, the results of the coil design are also applied to the reheating process to obtain a fine globular microstructure. Its considered that the reheating conditions of aluminum alloys for thixoforging and a new CAE model of the induction heating process are very useful for thixoforging practitioners including induction heating ones.

  • According to the design method for constructing the crotch angle of traditional Korean men's trousers there are differences in from after its completion. Since there is no standardization of visual & aesthetic pattern for the construction method which is stablished by the calculation formular of waist girth hip girth pantleg end and upper outer leg length it is difficult to be used for educational use or for teaching materials. Therefore the purpose of this project according to five models in proportion to the physical standard of Korea in ages from 24 to 29 years old is to establish a design criterion and the standardization of construction methods by introduction the pant construction method of the crotch angle by converting the sitting posture length to seaming crotch center point both knees width in the Korean way of sitting. The production method for the pattern design is as follow: (1) The waist girth formular is {{{{ { w} over {4 } }}}}+{{{{ {w} over {10 } }}}}(2) The hip girth formular is {{{{ {H } over { 4} }}}}+{{{{ {H } over {5 } }}}}(3) The pantleg end formular is {{{{ {H } over {4 } }}}}(4) A crotch angle is fixed at 70 degress.(5) The ratio of outer leg length to leg width is 5:8 (6) The component ratio of the upper outer leg length to the pant length in 5:8(7) The ratio of the division point of front / right inner leg length and left inner leg width to upper outer leg length is 5 : 8

  • The distance between teats of each head on twenty heads of holstein was measured in Nation Livestock Research Institute of Rural Development Administration to find design variables on the teat-cup attachment system of the auto-milking system before milking. The distance between teats was tested by the steps for milk producing in the morning and evening. The results from this study is summarized as follow. 1 The maximum and minimum length between front teats were 297mm and 112mm respectively, the maximum and minimum length between rear teats were 231mm and 36mm and the maximum and minimum length between left front and left rear were 220 and 84mm. And the maximum length of right front and right rear were 205mm and 90mm. A relative position of the each teats was asymmetric. 2. The size of teats, the length between front teats, and the length between rear teats by lactating period were very much changed for its milking. 3. The design variables on the teat-cup attachment system was found by the length between each teats tested. Since the position of teat-cup is changed by milking environment for a cow to milk, the design variables should be considered to be asymmetric area between four teat of COW.

Minimization of Crop Length by Sizing Press in Hot Rolling Mill (열간 조압연 공정에서 2단 사이징 프레스에 의한 크롭 최소화)

  • In this study, design methodology to determine optimal shape of the anvil in sizing press process has been proposed to minimize crop length of the AISI 1010 slab in horizontal rolling after width reduction. Shape of anvil were selected to 12 cases by design of experiment, and the dog-bone shapes and the crop length were determined by FE-analysis. Also, the anvil shape, which has minimum crop length, were determined by artificial neural network(ANN). As a result of FE-analysis, it can be seen that the crop length was increased with increasing center thickness in the dog-bone shape after width reduction. The anvil shape which has minimum crop length, was estimated to ${\theta}_{1}=21^{\circ}{\theta}_{2}=14^{\circ}$ by FE-analysis and ANN.

  • This paper shows through detailed simulations that the length of conventionally designed multimode-interference couplers can be shorted significantly by stepped-width and stepped-index design. For the cross-coupling device, this stepped-design results in 9% or more length reduction.
