ASIC 설계를 위한 원격 테스트 시스템 (Tele-test Systems for ASIC Design)

  • In this paper, Tele-Test System for ASIC Design is constructed. It consists of the server, and the clients. The server and clients are implemented by Java. Using Java RMI system, the remote access via information network is implemented. In this Tele-test system, fault simulation, test pattern compaction, test pattern generation, and path-delay fault test generation services are implemented. All service can be peformed parallel by network access.

  • The fixed duration test has been widely used in the reliability demonstration test for rolling stocks. This article deals with how to design the test statistics, acceptance criteria and the fixed duration of the MTBF(Mean Time Between Failures) demonstration test considering the consumer risk. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the dependence of the consumer risk on the test duration and MTBF requirement.

  • Incheon bridge project is to construct total 12km long bridges on the sea consist of 800m span length cable stayed bridge, approach bridge and viaduct bridge based on LRFD design specification. To design pile foundations by RCD of each bridge unit, total 4 number of preliminary full scale pile load tests with Osterberg cell method were carried out on the piles for testing. The test load was planned to more than the expected design ultimate capacity and about 29,000tons maximum load was recorded. From the interpretation of test results, design parameters are evaluated and applied to the design. Preliminary pile load test plan and detailed execution of pile load tests are introduced and summarized. The resistance factors are presented for pile design of Incheon Bridge Project in LRFD considering variation of ground conditions and number of test piles.

  • In order to fabricate a involute construction structure, the pattern design for prepreg stacking was developed. For obtaining the demanded strength in the circumferencial and axial direction of the involute construction and tile proper processablity of prepreg stacking, the shaped pattern method was established which has a calculated length suitable for stacking. We can obtain the involute construction with clean interface between laminated plies and suitable dimension by using pattern design method developed in this study. Test specimens with varied arc angle were designed to test the structural properties of involute construction. Tensile and compressive strength decreased with the increase of arc angle. Tensile modulus and compressive failure strain were calculated under the conditon of transformation of material properties successfully.

  • In this paper, the design improvement for high speed train carbody, which made by aluminium alloy, was described. The design improvements was achieved in fields of economical efficiency, extrusion, welding, assembling, etc. This paper also describes the result of carbody test. The purpose of the test is to evaluate an safety under the load and operation condition. This strength test based on KTX and reference code is UIC 566 and JIS E 7105. The test results shows that aluminium carbody structural have enough strength for all part.

Type I Error Rates and Power for Omnibus Tests of Repeated Measures Measn in the Split-Plot Design : F test, $\widetilde{\xi}$F test, and CIGA test

  • For split plot designs exact univariate F tests of the within-subjects main effect are based on the assumption of multisample sphericity. Type I error rates and power are reported for the F test and two tests designed for use when multisample sphericity is violated: the $\widetilde{\xi}$-adjusted test and the Corrected Improved General Approximation(CIGA) test.The results indicate that even though the F test and the $\widetilde{\xi}$-adjusted test have better power than the CIGA test in some conditions, the F test and the $\widetilde{\xi}$-adjusted test do not control Type I error rates when the design is unbalanced and the F test dose not have a good control of Type I error rates when sphericity assumption is severely violated.

An On-Chip Test Clock Control Scheme for Circuit Aging Monitoring

  • In highly reliable and durable systems, failures due to aging might result in catastrophes. Aging monitoring techniques to prevent catastrophes by predicting such a failure are required. Aging can be monitored by performing a delay test at faster clocks than functional clock in field and checking the current delay state from the test clock frequencies at which the delay test is passed or failed. In this paper, we focus on test clock control scheme for a system-on-chip (SoC) with multiple clock domains. We describe limitations of existing at-speed test clock control methods and present an on-chip faster-than-at-speed test clock control scheme for intra/inter-clock domain test. Experimental results show our simulation results and area analysis. With a simple control scheme, with low area overhead, and without any modification of scan architecture, the proposed method enables faster-than-at-speed test of SoCs with multiple clock domains.

  • Aerodynamic design of the vane type multi-function probe was tried by using CFD and wind tunnel test for the MALE UAV and small business jets. The present multi-function probe can measure total pressure, static pressure and angle of attack by using rotating vane. Therefore, major performances are determined by aerodynamic characteristics of vane. In order to design the sensor compatible to the requirement, aerodynamic characteristics of sensors were investigated by using CFD and dynamic response analysis was also performed for transient performance. The final aerodynamic performance was measured by the wind tunnel test at Aerosonic and the results were compared with the present design. The results showed that the aerodynamic design using the CFD can be successfully used for the design of vane type multi-function air data sensor.

Large-scale pilot test study on bearing capacity of sea-crossing bridge main pier pile foundations

  • Due to the sea-crossing bridge span is generally large and main pier pile foundations are located in deep water and carry large vertical load, sea-crossing bridge main pier pile foundations bearing mechanism and load deformation characteristics are still vague. Authors studied the vertical bearing properties of sea-crossing bridge main pier pile foundations through pilot load tests. Large tonnage load test of Qingdao Bay Bridge main pier pile program is designed by using per-stressed technique to optimize the design of anchor pile reaction beam system. Test results show that the design is feasible and effective. This method can directly test bearing capacity of main pier pile foundations, and analysis bearing behaviors from test results of sensors which embedded in the pile. Through test study the vertical bearing properties of main pier pile foundation and compared with the generally short pile, author summarized the main pier pile foundations vertical bearing capacity and the main problem of design and construction which need to pay attention, and provide a reliable basis and experience for sea-crossing bridge main pier pile foundations design and construction.

50 M급 비행선 추진용 프로펠러 설계 및 지상성능시험 (Design and Ground Test of Propeller for 50 m-long Airship Propulsion)

  • 50 m급 비행선의 추진을 위한 복합재 프로펠러를 공력/구조 설계하였으며, 지상 성능 시험을 수행하였다. 먼저 와류-깃요소 이론을 적용하여 비행선의 최대 비행 속도 조건에서 최소 손실을 갖는 45 kW급 프로펠러를 설계하였다. 프로펠러는 직경 2m, 블레이드 수 3, 고정피치 방식을 적용하였으며, 추력 제어를 위해 RPM 조절방식을 채택하였다. 설계한 프로펠러의 성능을 검증하기 위하여 지상정지 상태에서 프로펠러의 피치각을 변화시켜 가며 추력과 토크를 측정하여 이론적 방법으로 계산한 추력계수, 동력계수와 비교하였으며, 시험결과와 이론적 계산 결과는 잘 일치함을 확인하였다.
