  • It need remote storage system using iSCSI to overcome a limit of PDA storage device used in currently wireless network environment, and IPSec to solve a security problem of wireless environment increasing continually. In this paper, it design and implement iSCSI to use a remote storage system on PDA, and IPSec for security. The experimental results in real environment show a system performance.

  • In this paper, we propose spatial information based simulator for user experience optimization and minimize real space complexity. We focus on developing simulator how to design virtual space model and to implement virtual character using real space data. Especially, we use expanded events-driven inference model for SVM based on machine learning. Our simulator is capable of feature selection by k-fold cross validation method for optimization of data learning. This strategy efficiently throughput of executing inference of user behavior feature by virtual space model. Thus, we aim to develop the user experience optimization system for people to facilitate mapping as the first step toward to daily life data inference. Methodologically, we focus on user behavior and space modeling for implement virtual space.

  • In this paper, we implement that hollow type joint using two more than general motor and design for compact structure embedded electronic parts in the development of 7 degree of freedom manipulator. We propose a method to overcome risk and the limit of operating radius which are point out as a limit of previous industrial robot. and also propose to more efficient and stable manipulator implement method.

  • Disc harrow-type composite working implements of tractors are able to work almost 15km/hr. Soil reversing and plowing of agricultural fields are thereby faster than the existing rotavator speed of 2.5 km/h. In Korea, its supply process is being delayed because of the traditional tillage method of rotavator plowing operations. To develop products suitable for the domestic environment, an analysis and inspection was performed on the products of advanced specifications. 3D modeling was performed on main parts and frames using 3D scanner.

  • As flash technology is a widely used in Web pages, it tends to load a S/W flash player in mobile phones and PDAs to play flash contents on diverse H/W platforms currently. In this paper, we design and implement a linux-based standalone flash player which can be used in various fields like animation, game and advertizing. We also implement an web-based manager which user can effectively manage flash players anywhere.

  • Today SOC(system on a chip) is a trend in VLSI design society. Especially MML(merged memory Logic) process provides designers with good chances to implement SOC which is consists of DRAM, SRAM, Logic and A/D mixed mode ciruit blocks. Designers need good circuit library which is reliable and easy to tune for specific design. For this need we present semi-automated analog compiler methodology. And we aplied this design methodology to resistor-string DAC design.

  • This paper proposes statistically designed experiments which provide a proactive means to implement safety and environmental applications. Minimal experimental designs such as fractional factorial design, Plackett-Burman design, Box-Behnken design are economical and can be achieved tremendous savings with relatively few experiments. These experimental designs and analysis methods are illustrated with cases.

Telecommunication Network Optimization Current Status and Challenges (통신망 최적화 연구 동향)

  • This paper gives reviews on current research status in telecommunication network design. Two problems are identified as major research issues. One is the WDM network design problem, where traffic grooming, virtual topology design and routing and wavelength assignment problems are considered. The other is the OSPF weight setting problem which was proposed as a practical method to implement traffic engineering capability in IP networks. After presenting surveys on those problems, we discuss potential challenging research issues in telecommunication network design.

  • The present code generation system, developing based on single system, Is not easy for developers or maintenance men to share pattern design information in distribution environment. So in this paper, we design and implement XML as basis of web environment, and JiKU/XML object-oriented code generator using pattern design. We use UML to change pattern design to XML code, and create code, suitable to PIML command, to generate design information designed by UML into XML code. This JiKU/XML Object-oriented Code Generator makes 10-step codes, and can be easily applied to web environment. It complements the disadvantage of present generator, F77/J++, and makes standardization of design because it uses UML and design pattern information. We compare it with present system by implement Eases, and as a result, generator suggested in this study gives more effective function.
