본 연구는 디자인 3대 요소인 '심미성', '재료', '기능성/구조성'의 요소에 '제거', '감소', '증가', '창조'라는 4가지 디자인 사고 틀 적용을 통하여, 새로운 제품디자인 컨셉 및 아이디어개발을 위한 사고방법을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서 제안 된 혁신제품 아이디어 창출 방법의 검증을 위해서 성공적인 혁신 제품 디자인 사례로 소개된 232개의 제품들을 분석하였다. 그 연구결과의 대표적 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구에서 개발한 '대표적인 디자인 가치요소인인 '심미성', '재료', '기능성/구조성'의 요소를 기준으로 한 4가지 디자인사고 프레임?'은 혁신제품 디자인 개발을 위한 시스템적인 창의력 사고 방법에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다. 둘째, 혁신제품 디자인 사례 분석 결과 41%의 혁신제품디자인은 디자인 요소 중 '기능성/구조성'의 혁신을 통하여 이루어졌다. 셋째, 기존의 혁신제품디자인(74%)은 디자인요소에 대한 가치의 '제거와 감소' 보다는 디자인요소에 대한 가치의 '증가와 창조'를 통하여 이루었다. 본 연구에서 제안한 연구 결과는 디자이너들이 가장 힘들어 하는 아이디어 창출에 있어서, 또 다른 시스템적인 아이디어 창출 방법을 제안한 것이다.

This paper describes the developement of a Design Issue Management System (DIMS). Although human factors engineering has been recognized as one of the critical activities in the design of man-machine system, it has been hardly successful nor effective in practice to cope with the hyman factors requirements by regulations. For supporting the human factors engineering in nuclear power plants, DIMS ahs three major modules : Design Requirements Data Base, Design Issue Tracking System, Issue Evaluation Support System. These modules function as formal verification architects that the licensing authority requests for verifying the safety of the equip- ment and facilities in nuclear power plants. An example application to an operator support system, named Critical Function Monitoring System, during its independent review of the human factors shows the usage and the benefit of DIMS.

The purpose of this paper was to analyze the meanings and issues which had been expressed through the domestic fashion magazine from 1998 to 2002. The natural intension issue was caused by rapid development of modern civilization and it kneaded with poison of ecosystem destruction. It was expressed by pure and clean fashion image, simple appearance and natural color. The reconciliation issue between the east and west country, man and woman and science and art which are opposed together of the trade by mixture of fashion was expressed became the paternity. It pursued a tradition and the past, which pursue new things and the specific charters with spouted, and intension is expressed. The issues of over all fashion purses human being's happiness for which fashion design have existed and changed.

In Japan, it has been argued between architects and contractors that which process is desirable, the traditional process or the design-build process. It is called the contractor-designer issue. In 1968, Kajima Corporation chairman Morinosuke Kajima and the Japan Architects Association had a public controversy over it. On the other hand, in practice, architects and contractors have secured quality of buildings thorough a close communication in the design and construction process of building. What are the relationships between architects and contractors? What roles do architects and contractors have in practice? This study has two aims. First one is to analyze the contractor-designer issue based on roles and relationships between architects and contractors, and then to show conflicts between them. Second one is to consider issues which architects face in the relationships with contractors.

The first issue was concerning the subject to provide students with an understanding of the principle of light its concept mental factors etc and with the observation and analysis of the light of an object and its form which is the process for designers to be able to deal with the deeper design concept by complementing the setting of necessary concept. The second issue was concerning the process of basic learning about basic electricity and lighting that lighting designers or interior decoration and architecture designer should have such as the introduction of light in kind of light source lighting system and so forth. The third issue was focused on practical affairs such as design and expression techniques the calculation of illumination using the computer simulation and so on. In addition such issues as the history of lighting photograph and its linkage with the field of engineering about new material ware addressed.

This study analyzes critical factors that affect issues of resolving time in BIM-based coordination using a case study. According to recent buildings that are meant to be more complex, BIM-based design coordination is regarded as an essential stage of the project delivery process. In the design coordination phase, a relocation of architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical elements is conducted to avoid interference. In addition, the procedure of the development of each element in detail for the actual construction is carried out. Delays in coordination can affect delays in the entire delivery schedule of the project, and therefore many researches have focused on efficient coordination methods and how to shorten the period. In this study, we conducted a detailed analysis of the issue-resolving process using a case study, and found out that the participation of decision-makers for issue-resolving and the physical combination of trades affect delays in coordination time. In particular, we proposed the concept of organizational relation, indicating the level of decision-makers for issue-resolving, and the concept of physical relation, indicating the physical complexity of the issue, and we analyzed the effects of coordination delays.

This study focuses on design method of the memorial park for the improvement of the funeral culture in Korea. Through the comparative analysis between domestic and overseas cases, this study articulates the issues that should be taken into consideration in the design of memorial park and categorizes such issues in accordance with their types. According to comparative analysis, the characteristics of domestic and overseas cases can be summed up as follows. Most of the overseas cases can be characterized with creative concepts and images in their designs because designs are not only based on the issues articulated in this study but also show a various patterns issue by issue. On the other hand, domestic cases do not show differentiated images from others, which results from the uniform design that disregards the issues articulated in this study. The memorial park for the future should be designed to play a significant role of citizens´ park under the new conceptual framework. Therefore, the issues articulated from this study should be reflected in the design of memorial park. In addition, various types by issue should be introduced to design of memorial park. The purpose of this study is to suggest basic criteria for the design of future pattern, not simply to compare the strength and weakness of different types. This study has a limitation in that it does not offer comprehensive information of what types of memorial park will coincide with the Korean's collective sentiment. Therefore, impending tasks of further researches should involve the opinion and preferences of citizens concerning the design of memorial park.

환경보존의 문제가, 재편되어져 가는 가치구조에 있어 매우 결정적인 영향을 미치고 있다는 것은 우리 주위에서 쉽게 목격되어지고 있다. 디자인 역시 이런 환경 보존의 요인이 디자인의 가치구조 재편에 커다란 영향을 미친다는 것은 자명한 사실이다. 환경 보존의 문제가 갖는 가장 중요한 특성은 그 자체가 매우 총체적인 성격을 띈다는 것이다. 이는 그 문제의 접근과 그 해결방안이 총체적이어야만 한다는 것을 의미한다. 역시 환경 보존을 위한 디자인의 문제 접근과 그 해결 역시 같은 맥락에서 이루어져야 한다. 따라서 디자인이라는 분야의 전문성은 이러한 문제를 해결하는데 중요한 단서를 제공할 수 있는 것이다. 그러한 환경 보존의 문제에 있어 디자인 일반에는 재활용이나 포장 등과 같은 지엽적인 부분에서만 그 해결의 실마리를 찾으려 하는 경향이 있다. 하지만 이는 문제 전체를 왜곡시키거나 문제를 더욱더 확산시킬 수 있는 잠재성이 내재해 있는 것이다. 따라서 본 연구는 그 해결방안을 총체적으로 도출시키기 위한 인식 적 전환 요인을 분석하고 그에 따른 적절한 방법적 측면을 제안하기 위한 것이다. 디자인 내부의 자기반성이든, 디자인 외부의 요구이든 이젠 환경 보존의 문제 해결을 외면한다면 사회적 공헌을 위한 디자인의 진정한 고유 목적이 희석될 수밖에 없는 것이다.

Building information modeling refers to combination or set of technologies and organizational solutions that are expected to increase collaboration in the construction industry and to improve the productivity and quality of the design, construction, and maintenance of buildings. For enhanced communication among project participants, various information which BIM model usually includes is provided, furthermore data which contain exchange of unstructured information is needed. If the extension of BIM standard file format for practical use of design Issue information about collaborative design process is fulfilled, the productivity and quality of design will be improved.
