The background of this study is the observation that there is an increase in the number of elderly persons and the decrease in fertility rates, which may be related to the increase in the average age of the Korean people; accordingly, the national health insurance system changes every year following this pattern. However, this study investigates whether these changes are reflected in the dental hygiene curriculum. Data from the national health insurance system is reviewed for the last three years, and the recently published dental hygiene curriculum is selected, compared, and analyzed using a literature survey. The study is divided into two parts: information that is reflected in the dental hygiene curriculum and information that is not reflected in the dental hygiene curriculum, but which it is believed should be included. In addition, as the part reflected in the dental hygiene curriculum, it was stated in three subjects of dental implantology, dental prosthesis, and conservative dentistry, and there were four cases. Therefore, efforts should be made to ensure that the curriculum for dental hygiene students should reflect the changes in the national health insurance system so that students can more easily understand dental insurance claim processes.

Methods: After receiving informed consents, a self-reported questionnaire was carried out for 135 dental hygiene students in Busan on June 17 for preliminary survey and September 3 for post-education survey, 2011. The questionnaire was modified from Han and consisted of 5 questions of general characteristics, 6 questions of radiation use, 7 questions of scholastic characteristics, 15 questions of knowledge towards radiation safety management, and 15 questions of attitude towards radiation safety management. Cronbach's alpha was 0.808 in the knowledge towards radiation safety management. Attitude towards radiation safety management included 15 questions of general attitude towards radiation safety management, individual and patient, and attitude toward radiation exposure reduction measured by Likert 5 scale. Cronbach's alpha was 0.970 in the attitude towards radiation safety management. Data were analyzed using SAS version 9.2 for educational analysis, technical analysis and multivariate analysis, paired t-test, and GLM. Results: Significant differences were shown in the knowledge and attitudes towards radiation safety management; the level of knowledge was respectively $9.8{\pm}3.0$ and $12.9{\pm}1.9$ points before and after education, and the level of attitude was $4.28{\pm}0.51$ and $4.53{\pm}0.47$ before and after the education. The levels of knowledge and attitude according to general characteristics showed a significant differences in grade and academic results. Post-education survey suggested that the education is very important and necessary and can change the knowledge and attitude towards radiation safety management in the dental hygiene students. It is in order to create condition to focus on clinical practice institution. Methods: The participants in this study were 231 dental hygiene department students engaged in clinical practice; the survey was conducted from September 1 to 30, 2018, using a structured questionnaire (1040460-A-2018-036). The questionnaire consisted of items on participants' general characteristics (4 items), characteristics of the clinical practice institution (9 items), stress from environmental factors (8 items), stress from interpersonal factors (7 items), and stress amounts of BEPSI (5 items). The collected data were compared and analyzed using a t-test, ANOVA, and multiple regression. Results: The physical environment and interpersonal factors of stress according in clinical practice institutions were statistically significant. In case of a number of dentists (p<0.05), subjective practice atmosphere (p<0.001), practice satisfaction (p<0.001), and kindly teach (p<0.001). The factors affecting the amount of stress on the characteristics of the clinical practice institution were that the dental clinic, the relationship with the dental hygienist is common, the number of dentists is 4 or more, and there is no resting room. Conclusions: The selected clinical practice institutions should provide dental hygiene department students with places to relax and a systematic hands-on manual.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to survey the awareness of methicillin -resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA) among dental hygiene students in Yeungnam South Korea. Also the knowledge of infection control and infection diseases was surveyed. Methods : The subjects in this study were 213 dental hygiene students in three different colleges in Yeungnam. This study was conducted by using the self-reported questionnaire. Results : In the first, most of the students(86.9%) did not know about MRSA and 85.7% of them got the information in the college. Secondly, the awareness of infectious disease according to infection control education didn't have statistically significant difference(p>0.05). In the third, the infection control attitude level that the gowns should be changed after the treatment of infectious patients was scored lower than the others questions. on the other hand, the level of 'The use of high vacuum suction', 'The change of wet mask', 'The history taking of infectious disease' was scored higher. Finally, the attitude level according to grade and clinical training had statistically significant difference(p<0.05). But the infection control education had not affected significantly(p>0.05). Conclusions : Despite the infection control education and clinical training, the awareness was found insufficient in infectious diseases and MRSA. Therefore, it should be strengthen that the dental hygiene students were more educated about infection control at college course before clinical training, and especially the danger of MRSA was more.
Objectives: This study provided students of University with CPR (cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) training and investigated their knowledge on the training, attitude, level difference, and re-training necessity related factors to find the results as follows; Methods: Frequency and t-test was performed using SPSS 21.0, and were conducted according to the need for re-education in order to determine the determinants of the students. Results: The knowledge on CPR was 10.88 on average; training necessity, 3.43; emergency response ability, 3.39; and CPR performance level, 3.10. Factors determining re-training to maintain educational effect were found to increase with increase in school year (p<0.001), training necessity escalation (p<0.001), and decrease in confidence of performing CPR (p<0.01). Conclusions: Based on the findings above, it was found that, although CPR training is generally conducted in dental hygiene education, its training effect decreased with time in terms of implementation performance, compared with students' knowledge. Moreover, students who had completed the training strongly suggested the need for re-training. In this sense, schools will need to reinforce re-training as much as new training programs and the cycle needs to be as short as within 6 months for practical training system.

The students having good physical condition showed better mental health than those with poor physical condition(t = -2.81, p < 0.01). The students exercising at least twice a week showed better mental health than those who do not exercise(t = -3.10, p < 0.01). Those who having musculoskeletal symptoms showed higher index of internet addiction score than those who do not(t = 4.21, p < 0.01). Those who have no musculoskeletal symptoms tended to have better mental health than those who have musculoskeletal symptoms(t = 2.28, p < 0.05). The variables correlated to mental health were internet addiction, subjective physical condition, and exercise at least twice a week. The severity level of internet addiction leads to poor mental health(r = 0.26, p < 0.001). Conclusions: Internet addiction is closely related to mental health. So the students must know the danger of internet addiction. Proper health education is necessary for the prevention of addiction symptoms.
