This paper designs sigma-delta D/A Converter with a high resolution and low power consumption. It reorganizes the input data along LJ, RJ, I2S mode and bit mode to the output data of A/D converter. The D/A converter decodes the original analog signal through HBF, Hold and 5th CIFB(Cascaded Integrators with distributed Feedback as well as distributed input coupling) sigma-delta modulation blocks. It uses repeatedly the addition operation in instead of the multiply operation for the chip area and the performance. Also, the half band filters of similar architecture composed the one block and it used the sample-hold block instead of the sinc filter. We supposed simple D/A Converter decreased in area. The filters of the block analyzed using the matlab tool. The top block designed using the top-down method by verilog language. The designed block is fabricated using Samsung 0.35um CMOS standard cell library. The chip area is 1500*1500um.
This study was to evaluate the change of mineral loss of fTCP and CPP-ACP in artificial caries lesions using QLF-D to compare the remineralization effect of recently developed fTCP and CPP-ACP, which is widely used as a remineralization cream in current dental clinics. Bovine specimens used in this study formed the artificial caries lesion immersing in demineralization solution for 10 days and were divided randomly into the following two groups; Group 1- Tooth Mousse containing 10% CPP-ACP, Group 2- Clinpro Tooth Creme containing 950ppm NaF and fTCP. Two tooth paste were applied to the artificial caries lesion of specimens and they were immersed in artificial saliva for 1 week. Mineral loss of artificial caries lesion was evaluated by fluorescence loss (${\Delta}F$) values using QLF-D. QLF-D analysis showed that the ${\Delta}F$ and ${\Delta}Fmax$ value increased 2.65 and 6.63, respectively, in the Tooth Mousse group, and the mineral loss decreased statistically significantly(p<0.05). However, Clinpro Tooth Creme group had no statistically significant difference. ${\Delta}Fmax$ value of Tooth Mousse group was statistically significant difference compared to the Clinpro Tooth Creme. Therefore, the Tooth Mousse containing 10% CPP-ACP is more effective than Clinpro Tooth Creme containing fTCP in the treatment of remineralization of artificial caries lesions.
In this study, the lateral behavior of Pile-Bent structures subjected to lateral loading was evaluated by a load-transfer approach. An analytical method based on the Beam-Column model and nonlinear load transfer curve method was proposed to consider material non-linearity (elastic and yielding) and $P-{\Delta}$ effect. Special attention was given to the lateral deflection of Pile-Bent structures depending on different soil properties, lateral load, slenderness ratio based on pier length and reinforcing effect of casing. From the results of the parametric study, it is shown that the increase of lateral displacement in a pile is much less favorable for an inelastic analysis than for an elastic analysis. It is found that for inelastic analysis, the maximum bending moment is located within a depth approximately 3.5D(D: pile diameter) below ground surface, but within 1.5D when $P-{\Delta}$ effect is considered. It is also found that the magnitude and distribution of the lateral deflections and bending moments on a pile are highly influenced by the inelastic analysis and $P-{\Delta}$ effect, let alone soil properties around an embedded pile.

This paper compares the results of ${\Sigma}{\Delta}-STAP$ applied to actual radar test data and simulation data. The radar received a target signal from a virtual target generator and the clutter signal from a signal generator in an anechoic chamber. The simulation data were generated from ideal baseband radar signal modeling using the same parameter as that for the test radar. The ${\Sigma}{\Delta}-STAP$ results of the test and simulation data are similar in terms of the target signal shape and noise level. The SINR(Signal-to-Interfrence-plus-Noise Ratio) loss also had similar aspects, but the simulation result shows 1~2 dB higher SINR loss than the test result. This result verified that the simulation data can be a reasonable alternative test data when the ${\Sigma}{\Delta}-STAP$ is applied.

A Si-channle MESFET using .delta.-doped layers was designed and the considerable enhancement of the current driving capability of the device was observed by simulation. The channel consists of double .delta.-doped layers separated by a low-doped spacer. Cariers are spilt from the .delta.-doped layers and are accumulated in the spacer. The saturation current is enhanced by the contribution of the carriers in the spacer. Among the design parameters that affect the peformance of the device, the thickness of the spacer and the ratio of the doping concentrations of the two .delta.-doped layers were studied. The spacer thickenss of 300~500.angs. and the doping ratio of 3~4 were shown to be the optimized values. The saturation current was observed to be increased by 75% compared with a bulk-channel MESFET. The performances of transconductance, output resistance, and subthreshold swing were also enhanced.

A digital input class-D audio amplifier is presented for digital hearing aid. The class-D audio amplifier is composed of digital and analog circuits. The analog circuit converts a digital input to a analog audio signal (DAC) with noise suppression in the audio band. An interpolated digital delta-sigma modulator is used to convert data types between digital signal processor (DSP) and digital-to-analog converter (DAC). An 16-bit, 25-kbps pulse code modulated (PCM) input is interpolated to 16-bit, 50-kbps by a digital filter. The output signal of interpolation filter is noise-shaped by a third-order digital sigma-delta modulator (SDM). As a result, 1.5-bit, 3.2-Mbps signal is applied to simple digital to analog converter.

The multi-frequency characteristics of anchovy schools were investigated using six acoustic lines collected at 38 and 120 kHz while a primary trawl survey was conducted from 14 April and 18 April of 2014 in off the coast of Tongyeong and Geo-je. Here, the frequency characteristics mean ${\Delta}MVBS$ that is the difference of Mean Volume Backscattering Strength at two frequencies. To use the characteristics effectively, the optimal cell size ($10{\times}2m$) was determined by examining several different cell sizes in consideration with the shapes of fish schools and the ${\Delta}MVBS$ pattern. By examining 6 histograms of ${\Delta}MVBS$, afternoon groups were occupied more in the ${\Delta}MVBS$ range of -6~-4 dB than that of -4~-2 dB, comparing to morning groups. The ${\Delta}MVBS$ range of the morning groups was between -16.9 dB and 11.6 dB, and that of the afternoon groups -16.7 dB and 13.0 dB. The average and standard deviation were $-3.9{\pm}3.6$ dB in the morning and $-4.1{\pm}3.4$ dB in the afternoon, suggesting that morning groups were 2 dB higher than afternoon groups. The ${\Delta}MVBS$ range of all anchovy schools regardless of morning and afternoon was between -16.9 dB and 13.0 dB, their average ${\Delta}MVBS$ was $-4.1{\pm}3.5$ dB. The characteristics can support to identify anchovy species in the waters where multiple fish species are distributed. It is hoped that this study presents the availability and benefit of acoustic data from a primary trawl survey.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to propose effective data for the clinical examinations of binocular vision by comparative analysis of measuring the near horizontal phoria according to accommodative stimulations. Methods: It carried out near horizontal phorias, targeting 104 college students (50 males and 54 females) aged between 19 and 24 ($20.27{\pm}1.31$). It made a comparative analysis of changes in near horizontal phoria according to accommodative stimulations by using the von Graefe, Maddox rod and the Howell phoria methods respectively. We have also investigated the AC/A ratio in all phoria groups. Results: As the additional lenses were changed to the negative (-) diopter, the near horizontal phoria changed to the esodeviation. At this time, the rate of change in the section signifies the AC/A ratio, and the values were not consistent based on the evaluating methods or on each section. The AC/A ratio of the esophoria group appeared the largest value in all groups. As a result of analyzing AC/A ratio at the exophoria group using the von Graefe method, the AC/A ratio was $1.568{\pm}1.937$${\Delta}/D$ on the additional lenses +2.00 D and $2.527{\pm}2.253$${\Delta}/D$ on the additional lenses -1.00 D and at the esophoria group using the Howell phoria method, the AC/A ratio was $5.521{\pm}1.337$${\Delta}/D$, $5.593{\pm}1.623$${\Delta}/D$ on the additional lenses +2.00 D, +1.00 D and $4.687{\pm}1.643$${\Delta}/D$ on the additional lenses -2.00 D. These were significant differences statistically. Conclusions: In the exophoria group, when the (-) lenses were added, the averages of the AC/A ratio were shown to be high but in the esophoria group, when the (+) lenses were added, the of AC/A ratio was high.

This paper presents a low power CMOS continuous-time $\Sigma\Delta$ (sigma-delta) modulator for UMTS receivers. The loop filter of the continuous-time $\Sigma\Delta$ modulator consists of an active-RC filter which performs high linearity characteristics and has a simple tuning circuit for low power operating system The architecture of this modulator is the $3^{rd}-order$ 4-bit single loop configuration with a 24 of OSR (Oversampling Ratio) to increase the power efficiency. The modulator includes a half delay feedback path to compensate the excess loop delay. The experimental results of the modulator are 71dB, 65dB and 74dB of the peak SNR, peak SMR and dynamic range, respectively. The continuous-time $\Sigma\Delta$ modulator is fabricated in a 0.18-um 1P4M CMOS standard process and dissipates 15mW for a single supply voltage of 1.8V.

Leading edge extension(LEX) in a highly swept shape applied to a delta wing features the modern air-fighters. The LEX vortices generated upon the upper surface of the wing at high angle of attack enhance the lift force of the delta wing by way of increased negative suction pressure over the surfaces. The present 3-D stereo PIV includes the Identification of 2-D cross-correlation equation, stereo matching of 2-D velocity vectors of two cameras, accurate calculation of 3-D velocity vectors by homogeneous coordinate system, removal of error vectors by a statistical method followed by a continuity equation criterion and so on. A delta wing model with or without LEX was immersed in a circulating water channel. Two high-resolution, high-speed digital cameras$(1280pixel\times1024pixel)$ were used to allow the time-resolved animation work. The present dynamic stereo PIV represents the complicated vortex behavior, especially, in terms of time-dependent characteristics of the vortices at given measuring sections. Quantities such as three velocity vector components, vorticity and other flow information can be easily visualized via the 3D time-resolved post-processing to make the easy understanding of the LEX effect or vortex emerging and collapse which are important phenomena occurring in the field of delta wing aerodynamics.
