Large-scale failures resulting from natural disasters or intentional attacks are now causing serious concerns for communication network infrastructure, as the impact of large-scale network connection disruptions may cause significant costs for service providers and subscribers. In this paper, we propose a new framework for the analysis and prevention of network service disruptions in large-scale failure scenarios. We build dynamic deterministic and probabilistic models to capture the impact of regional failures as they evolve with time. A probabilistic failure model is proposed based on wave energy behaviour. Then, we develop a novel approach for preventive protection of the network in such probabilistic large-scale failure scenarios. We show that our method significantly improves uninterrupted delivery of data in the network and reduces service disruption times in large-scale regional failure scenarios.

The goal of this article is to stress the importance of good quality in telecommunication services and to introduce two basic concepts on the service quality in the telecommunication industry: QoS(Quality of Service) and NP(Network Performance) Based on these notions, presented is an integrated scheme for quality improvement in telecommunication services. Tn particular , proposed with this framework Is an efficient and effective establishment of a balanced set of parameters for continuous monitoring and correct ions of service performance.

In this work we investigate the benefit of multicast in the delivery of video data over the mobile MBMS network. In order to quantify the benefit in a practical aspect, this work proposes an analytic framework that employs a combined statistical and queuing model, where a queuing model represents the behavior of user's access to the video service and the statistical model captures the popularity of the video contents, via which we draw out a more realistic intuition for the expected benefit from multicast. Finally, we present results of numerical experiment that illustrates the validity of the proposed work.

This study deals with stockout costs in the supply chain optimization model under the framework of batch-storage network. Stockout is very popular in chemical industries. Estimating stockout cost involves an understanding of customer reactions to a seller being out of stock at the time the customer wants to buy an item. This involves massively non-trivial work such as direct customer interviews and extensive mail survey. In this study, we will introduce a new interpretation of stockout costs combined with batchstorage network optimization model and thus suggest an easy way of estimating stockout costs. Optimization model suggest that optimal process and storage sizes considering stockout cost are smaller than those that do not consider stockout cost. An illustrative example support the analytical results.

This thesis determines the research framework and scale design of leisure food E-Commerce consumer satisfaction degree by referring to previous theoretical model of customer satisfaction degree, the universal satisfaction evaluation index system, and the characteristics of leisure food E-Commerce in China. In this research, consumers who have bought leisure food online are taken as the research object, data are collected by questionnaires, and exploratory factor method is used to screen valid sample data. Through the Empirical Analysis which includes Descriptive Statistical Analysis, Reliability and Validity Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling, it is concluded that website design, logistics delivery service, commodity quality, and after-sales service are the main service quality on which the Leisure food E-Commerce enterprises should take focus. The service quality has significant positive influences on satisfaction degree. On the other hand consumer satisfaction has a significant positive influence on customer loyalty, which will create more earnings for the Leisure food E-Commerce enterprises.

Mobile applications and social networks tend to enhance the need for high-quality content access. To address the rapid growing demand for data services in mobile networks, it is necessary to develop efficient content caching and distribution techniques, aiming at significantly reduction of redundant content transmission and thus improve content delivery efficiency. In this article, we develop optimal cooperative content cache and distribution policy, where a geographical cluster model is designed for content retrieval across the collaborative small cell base stations (SBSs) and replacement of cache framework. Furthermore, we divide the SBS storage space into two equal parts: the first is local, the other is global content cache. We propose an algorithm to minimize the content caching delay, transmission cost and backhaul bottleneck at the edge of networks. Simulation results indicates that the proposed neighbor SBSs cooperative caching scheme brings a substantial improvement regarding content availability and cache storage capacity at the edge of networks in comparison with the current conventional cache placement approaches.

본 논문에서는 Microsoft의 Bot Framework v4를 활용하여 C#으로 개발한 피자 주문 챗봇에 대해 설명한다. 이 챗봇은 Azure에 호스팅 되었으며 피자 메뉴 선택, 피자 주문, 콜라 메뉴 선택, 콜라 주문, 배달 조회, 주문 종료 등의 기능을 제공한다.

본 연구는 장애인의 장애특성, 환경, 활동 영역 및 보조기구를 고려하여 기존의 공적급여 전달체계를 개선함으로써 보다 질적으로 향상된 장애인보조기구 서비스를 제공하였다. 이에 정부주도의 장애인보조기구의 대여, 개조, 맞춤제작을 통한 보조공학 전달체계 서비스의 주요한 부분들을 파악하였고, 이를 개선함으로써 효율적인 서비스를 제공하게 되었다. 사례 연구로 2명의 장애인을 대상으로 개선된 절차 하에 보조공학 서비스를 제공하였고, 그들이 가지고 있는 어려움의 장벽들을 해소하기 위해 기존의 보조기구 무상교부의 절차와 다른 보다 전문적인 상담, 평가 및 회의 등의 과정을 통해 대상자의 요구를 충족시킨 후 그들의 활동 영역의 변화를 살펴보았다. 그 과정에는 상용화된 보조기구를 지원하기 전에 전문기관의 여러 가지 보조기구를 대여하여 사용하게 한 후 대상자의 환경에 가장 적합한 제품을 지원되게 함으로써 활용성을 높였다. 그리고 연구대상자의 특성 및 환경을 고려한 보조기구를 제작하여 제공하였다. 그 결과 장애에 적합한 보조기구의 사용은 보조기구의 보다 적극적으로 사용함으로써 활동범위는 증가하였고, 신체적 피로 및 보호자의 의존도를 경감하는 효과를 얻게 되었다. 하지만 연구대상자가 제한적이어서 과학적으로 효과를 검증하기에는 어려움이 있었다. 향후 전문기관의 보조기구 서비스 전달체계를 통해 더욱 다양한 사례의 수집으로 그 효과를 보다 명확하게 파악할 필요가 있으며 이러한 일련의 과정을 통해서 서비스 대상자의 문제점들을 해결하고 지속적인 사후관리가 필요함을 알 수 있었다.

발표자의 적극적인 역할과 개입은 정보시각화를 효과적으로 표현하고 전달하는 핵심 요인임에도 불구하고, 정보 시각화 연구에서 적극적으로 다루어지지 못했다. 단순히 시각화 결과만 보여주는 것이 아니라, 발표자가 시각화와 관련된 부가적인 정보 및 맥락을 함께 제공함으로써 시각화 전달 과정을 증진시킬 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 발표자가 3차원 시각화 공간에 직접 개입하여 자신을 둘러싼 공간에 표현된 정보와 직접적으로 상호작용 하면서, 정보 표현 및 전달 과정을 적극적으로 증진시킬 수 있는 방식을 제시하고 이를 증강 프레젠테이션 (augmented presentation)이라는 프레임워크로 정의한다. 증강 프레젠테이션의 특성을 구체화하기 위해서 발표자가 개입할 수 있는 시각화 공간을 디자인하고, 발표자로 하여금 관찰자와 정보 간의 의사소통 과정을 충분히 지원할 수 있도록 발표자의 역할을 화자(storyteller), 제어자(controller), 정보증강자(augmenter)로 정의했으며, 그들의 역할 가능성을 제안하였다. 또한, 증강 프레젠테이션 특성을 실제로 구현할 수 있는 프로토타입 시스템을 제작하였다. 하프미러 필름 (half-mirror film)과 일반 프로젝션 스크린을 일정 간격을 띄운 후 평행하게 위치시키고, 각 스크린에 입체 영상을 적용한 후, 발표자가 스크린 사이에 표현된 3차원 시각화 공간 내에 직접 개입하여 정보와 상호작용할 수 있는 형태이다. 이후, 초기 단계에서 몰입적 정보 표현과 정보 전달 플랫폼으로서 증강 프레젠테이션의 가능성을 확인하기 위해서 기존의 프레젠테이션 시스템과 증강 프레젠테이션 시스템을 비교하는 예비 실험 (pilot test)을 진행하였다. 그 결과, 본 연구에서 제시한 증강 프레젠테이션은 실제 3차원 공간에서 가상의 정보와 실제 발표자를 자연스럽게 통합시켜 표현함으로써 몰입적이고 관찰자의 주의를 사로잡는 프레젠테이션을 실현할 수 있는 가능성이 충분히 있음을 확인했다.
