Unlike physical goods, service consists of a chain of activities that allow the service to function effectively. In order to enhance customer experiences, service providers should innovate service processes. Service innovation refers to new or considerably changed service processes that deliver added value to the customers. Unfortunately, many of the activities are invisible to both service providers and consumers. In terms of service innovation, service visualization is very critical. When we visualize the current service process, we can identify its problems. This study suggests service blueprinting as a service innovation methodology. In order to demonstrate the usage of the methodology, this study examines departure/arrival services at the airport.

대부분의 이동통신 단말기는 사용자 간에 멀티미디어 메시지를 송수신할 수 있도록 MMS를 지원한다. MMS는 다양한 이동통신 단말기에 적합하게 설계되었고 이미 무선 환경에서 효과적으로 동작하고 있으므로 MMS를 이용한 모바일 컨텐츠 제공 방법은 효율적일 수 있다. 그러나 이동통신 사업자가 사용자에게 모바일 컨텐츠를 제공하기 위해 기존의 MMS를 그대로 이용하는 방법은 몇 가지 단점을 가진다. 본 논문은 이를 해결한 데이터 전송 및 제어 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법은 새로운 프로토콜 설계 없이 기존 MMS 시스템의 일부 소프트웨어적인 수정만으로 사용자들에게 보다 쉽게 모바일 컨텐츠를 제공할 수 있도록 지원하는 장점을 가진다. 또한 이동통신 사업자는 제안된 기법을 통하여 이미 제공한 모바일 컨텐츠를 관리할 수 있기 때문에 모바일 일간 뉴스, 자동 S/W 업그레이드 서비스, 모바일 광고 등 다양한 부가서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 시뮬레이션을 통해 MMS를 이용하여 이동통신 사업자 스스로 사용자에게 모바일 컨텐츠를 전송하고 제어할 수 있음을 증명하였다.

최근 통칭 IPTV라고 불리는 새로운 개념의 텔레비전 서비스가 활성화되고 있다. VoD(Video On Demand)라고 불리는 콘텐츠 제공방식은 시청자들이 보고 싶은 프로그램을 시간에 구애받지 않고 원하는 시간에 볼 수 있게 되었고, 그 외에도 여러 부가서비스들이 제공되어 사업자들이 새로운 방식으로 수익을 창출하게 되었다. 다양한 서비스를 제공 중인 IPTV는 IP를 기본으로 하여 서비스된다. IP와 방송의 융합으로 IP기반의 서비스에서 발생 했던 보안 위협이 IPTV에서도 발생 할 수 있다. 국제 IPTV 보안 권고안은 추상적이라 현장에 바로 적용시키기는 어려움이 많다. 본 논문에서는 표준 모델을 기반으로 서비스가 어떠한 위협에 노출되어 있는지, 서비스를 제공하는 과정에서 수집하는 사용자의 어떠한 개인정보가 노출될 위협에 있는지에 대해 알아보고 이 취약점들을 분석하여 한국형 보안 모델을 설계하였다.

A binary linear integer program is formulated for the problem of expanding the capacity of a fiber optic network and routing the traffic to deliver new interactive multimedia services. A two-phase Lagrangian dual search procedure and a Lagrangian heuristic are developed. Computational results show superior performance of the two-phase subgradient optimization compared with the conventional one-phase approach.

In the era of home automation, we need more context-aware and intelligent service applications than before. For these applications, a service gateway as a platform is required to bridge the gap between external data networks to internal home networks. Also, the sonics gateway enables customers to receive new classes of home services. Empirical studies have shown that government and human service nonprofit organizations have maintained active partnerships to deliver human services for the past several decades. However, the previous researches on resource dependent government-nonprofit service delivery have revealed serious methodological limitations to adequately demonstrate the dynamic relationship between both sectors over time. Since the dynamics underlying the government-nonprofit service delivery is a complex process, in which multiple factors dynamically interact over time, the assumptions of system dynamics can help improve these methodological drawbacks. This study aims to explore methodological issues and weaknesses observed in empirical studies on resource dependent government-nonprofit service delivery in the United States, and further attempts to provide insights on future research toward a dynamic approach, bringing the assumptions of system dynamics to the challenges of the previous researches.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to recognize the role and necessity of public data visualization through prior research, investigation, and data verification processes. In addition, this study intends to check what factors should be considered in order to visualize data on the mobile web. Through this process, by identifying the cognitive load affecting information visualization by type, as a result, I would like to propose an effective information visualization method to effectively deliver public data related to government policies. Research design, data and methodology: In this study, we analyzed the case of information visualization according to infographics, which has been widely used in the public field among various visualization methods. For this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted for young people in their 20s and 30s with the highest mobile usage rate. Results: Based on the results, IPA (Importance Performance Analysis) was performed to conduct cognitive load test tools for information visualization of public data and confirmed the implications for each type of infographics. Conclusions: As a result of research, in order to efficiently deliver public data on the mobile web, first, it is necessary to construct a visual screen that can be easily identified through clear data. Appropriate graphic elements can be used according to the type to make it easier for users to acquire and understand information. Second, it is necessary to provide useful content in visualizing information. Third, in order to efficiently transmit information and increase understanding of data, it is necessary to visualize information that can induce interest in data and form metaphors. Fourth, it is necessary to visualize information to reduce cognitive load in terms of physical and mental aspects in order to accommodate users' comfortable information. Fifth, in order to effectively deliver public data, it is necessary to compose contents and information that are easy for users to understand. This study examines effective information visualization methods to increase the communication effect of public data in response to changes in the data-based intelligent information society and suggests implications for each type considering cognitive loads to help future public institutions to communicate and accept information.

In order for end-users in home networks to receive opportunities for useful services that go beyond legacy Internet Protocol TV (IPTV) services, this paper proposes a service platform that resides on the residential gateway (RG) for interworking between the home network and IPTV. This proposed service platform is called the home-oriented IPTV service platform (HISP) on the RG (HISP-RG). The proposed HISP-RG provides open architecture and functionalities to enable 3rd party IPTV service providers to locally and directly deliver home-oriented IPTV services to end-users in home networks. The HISP-RG can be an "add-on" and not a "built-in" solution for the existing standard RG. This paper introduces several home-oriented IPTV services that can be executed and delivered locally through the HISP-RG. Then, the open architecture and functionalities of the HISP-RG are defined and their requirements are specified. Finally, use cases of the HISP-RG for home-oriented IPTV services are presented.

In our study, we tried to develop and test a model that aids further understanding of the sources of customer loyalty in the 3G telecommunications service. In addition, as the 3G could be understood as an innovative telecommunications service, we assume that the impact of factors related service attributes affecting customer loyalty is moderated by the customer's innovativeness. We analyzed our research model using 3G service users' data in Korea. Our results will have significant strategic implications for firms in this highly competitive industry. Particularly, it can be useful for mobile carriers interested in customer retention management and supposed to deliver a new telecommunications service like the 4G service that is on the horizon.

Meteorological information is essential for the safe operation of aircraft. Many organizations both at home and abroad provide meteorological services for small aircraft flying at a low altitude as a part of open public service and have performed relevant studies. Recently, such a service has been expanded to an online platform in order to deliver information more efficiently. The ultimate goal of this study is to improve the meteorological service for small low-altitude aircraft that mostly travel a short distance for a short time. To achieve this goal, this study considered requirements for developing an effective information delivery system and conducted a survey of user requirements to derive the necessary information that could be used to develop a real service.
