  • Input delay is frequently encountered in the practical systems since measurement delay and computational delay can be represented by input delay. In this viewpoint, this paper deals with the robust control problem of input delayed systems with structured uncertainty. Robust stability conditions are provided in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs) and it is shown that the proposed conditions can give less conservative maximum bound of input delay guaranteeing robust stability.

  • This paper presents an H$\infty$ controller design method for linear systems with time-varying delayed states, inputs, and measurement outputs. Using a Lyapounov unctional , the stability for delay systems is discussed independently of time delays . And a sufficient condition for the existence of H$\infty$ controllers of n-th order is given in terms of three matrix inequalities. Based on the positive-definite solutions of their matrix inequalities, we briefly explain how to construct H$\infty$ construct H$\infty$ controller, which stabilizes time-delay systems independently of delays and guarantees an H$\infty$ norm bound.

사람 손의 지연발광 특성 (Delayed Luminescence Characteristics of Human Hands)

  • 6명 피험자의 손바닥과 손등의 일정 영역에 대해 광조사 시간과 파장을 변인으로 하여 빛을 조사한 후 되방출 되는 지연발광을 PMT를 검출기로 한 지연발광 검출장치를 이용하여 시간영역(time domain) 상에서 측정하였다. 광조사 시간을 바꾸어가며 지연발광 특성을 조사한 결과 광조사 시간에는 뚜렷한 의존성을 찾을 수 없었으나 각 피험자마다 지연발광의 세기, 지속시간 등에 있어서 다른 감쇄 특성을 보였다. 그리고 조사광의 파장(색깔)을 350${\~}$450 nm, 450${\~}$550 nm, 550${\~}$650 nm 세 영역으로 나누어 측정한 결과 350${\~}$450 nm영역에서는 강한 지연발광을 보였으나 나머지 영역에서의 지연발광은 상대적으로 미약함을 알 수 있었다. 사람 피부에서의 지연발광 현상은 피험자의 피부조직의 생리상태(활성산소의 농도)와 밀접한 관련이 있을 것으로 예상되며 인체피부 조직의 생리상태를 비침습적으로 진단할 수 있는 새로운 방법이 될 수 있음을 시사한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 저속 롤링하는 유도형 탄약 모사체가 시간 지연된 측정치를 획득하였을 때 시간지연을 고려하여 탄약의 롤각을 추정하는 방법을 다루며 비행 실험을 통해 이를 검증한 결과를 소개한다. 수치적 안정화 및 잡음 제거를 위해 저역 통과 필터와 같은 후처리를 거친 측정치의 시간지연 정도를 사전에 파악하여 시간 지연의 분포를 모델링하며 이 분포를 활용한 증강 상태 칼만필터를 설계한다. 비행 실험에서는 대형 고정익 항공기를 이용해 표고 약 250m의 고도에서 수평방향으로 28m/s의 속력으로 탄약을 투하하였으며 탄약 내부의 반동차를 이용해 탄체를 롤축 회전시켰다. 상용 GPS/INS의 롤값과 제안한 방법으로 추정한 롤값의 비교를 통해 측정치 시간 지연보상을 반영한 필터 설계가 유효함을 보인다.

개에서 즉시형과 지연형 인공치아 식립후 골유합에 대한 CT와 신티그라피 평가 (CT and scintigraphic evaluation of osseointegration following immediate versus delayed implantation in dogs)

  • Osseointegration involves anchoring dental implants to stable bone rather than to soft-tissue. Clinical osseointegration is currently defined as the process whereby alloplastic material is asymptomatically and rigidly fixed and maintained in bone during functional loading. Full osseointegration is necessary for the success of long-term dental implants. Recent developments in computer assisted measurement of bone formation have improved maxillofacial examination and osseointegration. Computer assisted examination has also proved effective in dental implantology. This investigation was aimed to determine osseointegration in immediate and delayed implantation in the dog mandible using dental computed tomography (CT) and bone scintigraphy. Five adult (mean age of 2 years) mongrel dogs with a mean weight of 9.1 kg were used in this investigation. Titanium alloy implant systems with 4 mm in diameter and 10 mm in length were chosen for insertion. The second and third left mandibular premolars in each dog were extracted for the delayed implant insertion. Twelve weeks later, the second and third right mandibular premolars were extracted for the immediate implant insertion. Before the delayed and immediate implantation procedures and 0, 4, 8, and 12 weeks after the insertions, dental CT and scintigraphy were conducted. The CT and scintigraphic images indicate that reconstruction of bone surrounding of the immediate implant can be as successful as reconstruction of bone surrounding of the delayed implant.

지연성 근육통 유발 후 유지-이완 기법이 통증과 관절가동범위에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Hold-relax Techniques after Inducing Delayed Muscle Pain on the Pain and Range of Motion of Joints)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the present study was to compare the effects of both general hold-relax techniques and hold-relax techniques using pumping on pain due to delayed muscle pain and on the range of motion (ROM) of joints. Methods: Thirty-nine young adult males and females were randomly assigned either to a hold-relax technique application group of 20 subjects or to a group of 19 subjects with hold-relax techniques applied using a pumping application. Tenderness thresholds, the ROM of joints, and pain intensities were measured on the biceps of the nondominant arm of the subjects in both groups before exercises were performed to induce delayed muscle pain. Tenderness thresholds were again measured 24hours, 48hours, and 72 hours after inducing delayed muscle pain. The relevant intervention methods were applied to the two groups after conducting the measurement at 48hours. As a statistical analysis method, repeated measure ANOVAs were conducted to examine the tenderness thresholds, ROMs of elbow joints, and pain intensities in the individual groups at the time points. Results: At 48 hours and 72 hours after application of the interventions, the general hold-relax technique application group showed greater changes in the tenderness thresholds, the ROMs of elbow joints, and the pain intensities than did the group applying hold-relax techniques using a pumping application (p>0.05). Conclusion: Based on the results of the present study, the application of hold-relax techniques is thought to have beneficial effects on pain resulting from delayed muscle pain and on limited ROMs of joints.

다변측정감시시스템 신호 입력 시각 정밀 측정을 위한 DRS(Delayed Reference Sample)를 이용한 Cross Correlation 방안 연구 (Study of Cross Correlation Using DRS(Delayed Reference Sample) for Precision Time Measurement of Input Signal on Multilateration)

  • 다변측정감시시스템은 탑재 트랜스폰더에서 전송되는 신호를 지상에 설치된 여러 수신기에서 획득하고 각각의 수신기의 신호 획득시간의 차를 이용하여 표적의 위치를 계산한다. TDOA(Time Difference Of Arrival) 계산 방법을 이용하는 다변측정감시시스템의 위치 정확도에 가장 큰 영향을 주는 요소 중 하나는 신호 입력 시각 측정 시 발생하는 오차이다. 수신기에서 신호 입력 시각을 측정할 경우 수신기의 기준 클럭을 이용하여 입력 신호를 샘플링하고 동일한 샘플링 레이트를 가지는 기준 샘플(Reference Sample)을 Cross Correlation 기법에 적용한다. 따라서 신호 입력 시각의 정밀도는 기준 클럭에 비례한다. 본 논문에서는 기준 샘플과 이를 샘플링 레이트보다 작은 시간으로 기준 샘플을 지연시킨 다수의 샘플(DRS, Delayed Reference Sample)을 수신기의 입력신호와 Cross Correlation을 수행하여 신호 입력 시각을 보다 정밀하게 측정하기 위한 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 이를 검증하기 위해 Matlab을 이용하여 타겟에서 송출하는 트랜스폰더의 펄스 신호를 구현하였으며 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안한 DRS와 입력신호와의 Cross Correlation을 수행하였다. 이 결과로 부터 신호 입력 시각 정밀 측정의 성능을 분석하였다.

Improving the Reception Performance of Legacy T-DMB/DAB Receivers in a Single-Frequency Network with Delay Diversity

  • This paper describes a simple delay diversity technique for terrestrial digital multimedia broadcasting (T-DMB) and digital audio broadcasting in a single-frequency network (SFN). For the diversity technique, a delay diversity scheme is adopted. In the delay diversity scheme, a non-delayed signal is transmitted in the first antenna, and delayed versions of the signal are transmitted in each additional antenna. For an SFN environment with multiple transmitters, delay diversity can be executed by controlling the emission times of the transmitters. This SFN delay diversity scheme does not require any hardware changes in either the transmitter or receiver, and perfect backward compatibility can be acquired. To evaluate the performance improvement, laboratory tests are executed with various types of commercial T-DMB receivers as well as a measurement receiver. The improvement in the bit error rate performance is evaluated using a measurement receiver, and an improvement of the threshold of visibility value is evaluated for commercial receivers. Test results show that the T-DMB system can obtain diversity gain using the described technique.

옥상녹화의 우수유출량 저감효과에 관한 연구 -토심 및 식생유무를 중심으로- (A Field Study to Evaluate Greenroof Runoff Reduction and Delay)

  • The objective of this study is to analyze the greenroof runoff quantity and delay. The experimental districts, have different soil thickness and vegetation, had installed. A measurement was conducted in Seoul University to investigate the runoff quantity and delay of the greenroof. The measurement point of runoff quality data were 8, located next to each experimental district. Also, the precipitation was measured by rain gauges(# RG2). The experimental investigation lasted from 21th July to 4th December, a total of 137 days. The results showed that the greenroof can contribute runoff retention and delay by soil, but the intensity of actual rain event affected the runoff reduction and delay. Overall, when was the rainy season, percent rainfall retention ranged 17.5% and runoff flow was delayed for 1-3 hours. But on the other hand, when was the typical rain event, percent rainfall retention ranged over 90% and runoff flow was delayed for 1-11 hours. In the result, the greenroof had the greatest runoff retention and delay, while for the typical rain event.
