The purposes of this study which was done by questionnaire survey and case study of First Aid Certification Program in Seoul Health College were to analyze results and effects of the college financial support program from Ministry of Education & Human Resources Development. The significant 164 data were collected from 300 professors in 8 colleges having the Department of Emergency Care from Oct. 1, 2002 to Dec. 31, 2002 and analyzed using SPSS in terms of t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and so on. The conclusions and suggestions from this study were summarized as follows; (1) Degree of acknowledgement about aims, contents, results of the college financial support program was above the middle(participants 4.21, non-participants 3.63) and higher relation than the others in case of participants(r:0.32 p<0.001), planning team(r:0.22 p<0.05). (2) Degree of acknowledgement about improvement of curriculum & educational facilities through the program was above the middle and higher relation than the others in case of participants. (3) Degree of acknowledgement about positive influence on acquirement rate of certification(licence) & job through the program was above the middle and performance & adaptation at work place was higher relation than the others in case of participants. (4) Degree of acknowledgement about positive influence on improvement of learning of student's major through the program was above the middle and higher relation than the others in case of participants. (5) The respondents thought that the program had a negative influence on professor's educational activities & research such as study 40.4%, lecture 23.1%, student guidance 12.5%. (6) When the program was administered by planning team, there were difficulties such as execution of budget 42.1%, cooperation with companies 17.1%, cooperation among program teams 11.8%, when it was administered by non-planning team there were difficulties such as execution of budget 45.5%, cooperation among departments 22.7%, cooperation with companies 13.6%. (7) Because it was too short to execute the budget, the ministry have to select proposed programs before the next school year. (8) This program should be changed temporary, insufficient support into consecutive, sufficient support for more characterization & specialization of the college which has a long-term developmental plan & vision.
This study examined the cost consciousness, food materials satisfaction, job satisfaction, and degree of food materials management of chefs, as a means to increase food materials management efficiency in hotel restaurants and to make suggestions, for efficiently reducing food material costs, Chefs from eleven 5-star hotels and one exceptional-grade restaurant in Seoul were asked to fill out a questionnaire for sampling. A total of 350 questionnaires were distributed and 334 were returned (95.4% return rate). The characteristics of the respondents were examined by population statistics analysis, and the chefs' cost consciousness, food materials satisfaction, and job satisfaction were examined by descriptive statistics after reliability and propriety analyses. The degree of cost consciousness in the respondents was very high and this degree of consciousness proved to have a partially significant impact on the degree of food materials management. That is when the chefs were more conscious about cost, the degree of food materials management was high. This implies that food materials satisfaction can be enhanced by enhancing the degree of food materials management. Job satisfaction also had a partially significant, influence on the degree of food materials management. Therefore, it is necessary to maintain consistency in the quality and inspection of food materials, provide related information, enhance the satisfaction level for standards of food materials and improve policies for welfare and career after retirement in order to enhance the job satisfaction of chefs and subsequently reduce costs in relation to the level of food materials management.
This study focuses on semiotic significance of clothing, showed in visual mass media. This study will look into what general public understand from clothing and what influence clothing on visual mass media exert on fashion. This study employs an example, "Aein(sweetheart)", which was televised from 09/02/1996 till 10/23/1996. Some specialists(master′s degree or doctoral degree holders, or professors) of Clothing and Textile picked and analyzed scenes with specific clothing. The theoretical grounds of the analysis are 1) in what procession the significance operate from the view of mythological symbols by Bart, 2) what influences clothing on TV dramas exert on fashion. The outcomes of the study are followings: First, clothing′s signifying proces hs two dimensions; linguistic dimension and mythological dimension. Linguistic dimension which is regarded as general and unvariable and is related to the reproductive signifying operation, contributes to the creation of the characters including the characters′ social activities, professions, social or economic position. Mythological dimension which is related to the cultural and implicative signifying operation, played an important role in the development of the drama. Thus, it operates to create and deliver images including that atmosphere of he drama and the development of the story. Second, the TV media which is characterized with the form of centralized transmission and individual reception and the ability tro readily lead the fashion, has huge influence upon the fashion by properly creating mythological or linguistic dimension of the clothing in the drama, arousing the public′s sympathy, and stimulating the public′ immitation or conformity mentality.

To find the influence of family support degree on the depression of the elderly in a rural area, a questionnaire survey was made toward 163 persons who were more than 65 years old and living in a township at Chollanamdo province from January 1st to February 20th, 1998. The major findings are as follows : 1. By simple analysis significantly associated variables with depression score were residence, adequacy of pocket money, health consciousness, drinking alcohol, smoking, score of activity of daily living(ADL), score of instrumental activities of daily living(IADL), and degree of family support among female respondents(p<0.05). 2. To find the influence of family support on the depression score excluding other associated variables, multiple regression analysis was made and it was found that family support was associated significantly with affective, somatic, psychomotor and psychological domain of depression score among male, and somatic, psychomotor and psychological domain among female(p<0.05). The above finding suggest that family support degree is an important factor to be associated with the depression of the elderly in the rural area. So to deal with the depression of rural elderly, how to make close relation among family members must be considered.
Dependence of graphitic structure on oxidation of carbon materials was discussed using furan resin-derived carbon with inorganic compounds such as SiC and TiO2 Oxidation of carbon was governed by active site. I. e surface area regardless of the degree of graphitization. When oxidation was considered for not unit weight but unit area graphitization was important factor for oxidation so that the degree of graphitization increased the oxidation rate was delayed. Graphite (tiO2 addition) and turbostratic graphite(SiC addition) were oxidized through the same mechanism. In carbon materials with different structure components more than 2 oxidation of each component was different and amorphous component without the influence of additives on the surface was selectively oxidized in the intial oxidation stage.
This research is designed for studying between transformational leadership and behavior of subordinate. We took a practical analysis with conception of leader acceptance to search function between transformational leadership and self-efficacy. For practical proof of this research, we look hypothetical inspection with collected data after posing a question with medical Staff of 459. The practical analysis of this research is as below. First, We could know that transformational leadership affect partially positive effect to self-efficacy of subordinate. That is, as a result for researching into the influence of subordinate to self-efficacy, setting each element which forms transformational leadership as hypotheses, charismatic behavior and intellectual stimulation of leader's have an positive effect on self-efficacy of subordinate. However, there is no relation between individualized consideration and self-efficacy of subordinate. Second, we analyzed effect of subordinate's acceptance of leader between transformational leadership and acceptance degree of leader, we could know that all of them which is Two subordinate purpose of transformational leadership have a controling effects as there must be existed differences on self-efficacy before and after interaction. It is also another suggestion of this research to provide a clue to next research which is related with the importance of acceptance and it, conception, because we find the fact there could be existed the difference according to acceptance degree of leader.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the influence of the exciter attached for the measurement of natural frequencies when extracting the frequency response functions of the test structure in experimental modal analysis. The procedure is first to model the attached exciter as an additional degree of freedom system and next to verify the suggested model by experimentally extracting the natural frequencies of the test structure with various values of exciter mass, stinger stiffness and attachment position of the exciter on the test structure. It is concluded that as additional degree of freedom system which includes the natural frequency of the exciter itself and axial stiffness of stinger should be considered to quantatively define the coupling effects of structure-exciter interaction on the measured natural frequencies. It is not the mass of the exciter itself but the coupling effect of the additional degree of freedom mass-spring system consisting of exciter body and armature coil that characterizes the natural frequency deviation. Therefore, when the natural frequency of this additional mass-spring system is outside of the test frequency range, the coupling effect of structure-exciter interaction can be minimized.

Aqueous mixtures of hyaluronic acid and poly(vinyl alcohol) system and hydrogels thereof were introduced to obtain new bioartificial materials that have excellent mechanical properties, biocompatibility and enhanced rheological properties. The interactions between hyaluronic acid and poly(vinyl alcohol) and/or borax were investigated by rheological measurements. Preparation parameters of the aqueous mixtures were mixture composition, the degree of hydrolysis of poly(vinyl alcohol) and borax concentration. From the rheological behavior, it could be deduced that the key factor of the interaction between hyaluronic acid and poly(vinyl alcohol) was the hydrogen bonding between them and the effect was pronounced with borax. Enhanced viscosity was observed at the composition of $20wt\%$ of hyaluronic acid solution and $80wt\%$ of poly(vinyl alcohol) and borax solution. Rheological properties were influenced by the degree of hydrolysis of poly(vinyl alcohol) and borax concentration. As the degree of hydrolysis and borax concentration increased, rheological properties increased due to the increased hydrogen bonding and networking of hyaluronate aggregates. Physical hydrogels from hyaluronic acid and poly(vinyl alcohol) were prepared and the composition dependence of the gels was rheologically investigated as well.
Purpose - The objective of this paper is to identify how different incentive factors influence teachers with different ages and professional titles at LinYi University, China. Research design, data, and methodology - A total of 435 university teachers participated in the study, and the Grey Correlation Degree Analysis method was used to analyze the sample data. Results - The results indicated that teachers with different professional titles and ages have different levels of preference on various incentive factors. Young and assistant-level teachers seem to place more importance on incentives than associate and senior-level teachers. Conclusions - This study has some practical implications. First, the principal and school administrators should pay more attention to young and middle-aged teachers and to how these teachers are motivated through monetary incentives as compared to associate or senior-level teachers. Second, school administrators should pay more attention to teachers' opportunities for career growth and should provide more opportunity for academic promotion. In order to stimulate positivity in teachers, school administrators should adopt various incentive systems.
