인허가관련 설계품질검토 자동화를 위한 건축법규 문장 관계논리에 관한 연구 (Relational Logic Definition of Articles and Sentences in Korean Building Code for the Automated Building Permit System)

  • This paper aims to define the relational logic of in-between code articles as well as within atomic sentences in Korean Building Code, as an intermediate research and development process for the automated building permit system of Korea. The approach depicted in this paper enables the software developers to figure out the logical relations in order to compose KBimCode and its databases. KBimCode is a computer-readable form of Korean Building Code sentences based on a logic rule-based mechanism. Two types of relational logic definition are described in this paper. First type is a logic definition of relation between code sentences. Due to the complexity of Korean Building code structure that consists of decree, regulation or ordinance, an intensive analysis of sentence relations has been performed. Code sentences have a relation based on delegation or reference each other. Another type is a relational logic definition in a code sentence based on translated atomic sentence(TAS) which is an explicit form of atomic sentence(AS). The analysis has been performed because the natural language has intrinsic ambiguity which hinders interpreting embedded meaning of Building Code. Thus, both analyses have been conducted for capturing accurate meaning of building permit-related requirements as a part of the logic rule-based mechanism.

Definition Sentences Recognition Based on Definition Centroid

  • This paper is concerned with the problem of recognizing definition sentences. Given a definition question like "Who is the person X?", we are to retrieve the definition sentences which capture descriptive information correspond variously to a person's age, occupation, of some role a person played in an event from the collection of news articles. In order to retrieve as many relevant sentences for the definition question as possible, we adopt a centroid based statistical approach which has been applied in summarization of multiple documents. To improve the precision and recall performance, the weight measure of centroid words is supplemented by using external knowledge resource such as Wikipedia and redundant candidate sentences are removed from candidate definitions. We see some improvements obtained by our approach over the baseline for 20 IT persons who have high document frequency.

A Study on Sijo Literature Therapy structuralized in the Rated Codon

  • The purpose of this study is to find out how to use emotional activity rate in sentence. The aim is to estimate the Emotion-Codon status of emotion-DNA wiggling as well as the sequence of codons in which amino acids of human body are spread. It is as if the amino acids are translated from the DNA of the human body, and the emotions that cooperate with each other are diversified and refined. Through these attempts, we anticipate the change of emotions by literary works and present the direction of the synapse working and the direction of the encoding. Therefore, this study analyzed the emotional activity of Rated Emotion-Codon, which works as Rated Sijo. At this time, the emotional change in the human body, in which the sentence is more clearly pronounced, is predicted and detected. This result shows how emotions can activate the human body. This state of activation is an indicator of how much the sentence pushes the physiological action of the human body. It is judged that Codon is constructed precisely for the activation of the rated Sijo additive definition by this index. Our result is evidenced by the fact that three sentences of Rated Sijo show an array with the same rating as the Rated Codon's, The first sentence fuses with the sentiment between the second sentence and the third sentence of Rated Sijo. The emotional symbols between the sentence symbols "A, U, J, L" in the first base of the Codon table and the sentences fusing between the sentences of the first sentence and the third sentence are "A, U, J, L". The emotional symbols between the sentences flowing in the second base of the Codon table and between the sentences of the first sentence and the second sentence are structured in the third base of the Codon table as "A, U, J, L". The Rated Sijo, which is resiliently and precisely assigned to the human body's Rated Emotion-Codon, will require a rich experience in our Rated Life.

실제 상황에서 발화된 영어 단어 강세의 음성 실현 (Phonetic Realizations of English Word Stress in Utterances)

  • This study examines the phonetic realizations of English word stress to identify the influence of experiment method on experiment results. Stimuli uttered by native and Korean ESL beginners in authentic conversations are extracted to be shuffled according to their positions in utterances and information structure. Results indicate that the acoustic characteristics of English word stress are realized depending on its position in utterances. The native speakers correlate the stressed syllables in shorter duration with higher pitch and stronger intensity at sentence-final positions unlike the previous experiments and the traditional definition that stressed syllables are uttered in longer duration with higher pitch and stronger intensity; at sentence-medial positions, the native speakers correlate the stressed syllables in longer duration with higher pitch and no regularity in intensity or in shorter duration with lower pitch and intensity depending on their conversational intention. Korean ESL beginners correlate the stressed syllables in shorter duration regardless of positions in sentences with no regularity in pitch and intensity. This study, thus, shows that a different experiment method may result in different results on the phonetic realizations of English word stress.

  • 본 논문은 "X라는 인물은 누구인가?"와 같은 질의어가 주어질 때, X라는 인물에 대한 나이, 직업, 학력 또는 특정 사건에서 X라는 인물의 역할에 대한 정보를 기술하는 문장을 인식하고 추출함으로써 해당 인물에 대한 신문 기사 내용을 요약하는 방법을 제시한다. 질의어 용어에 대해 가능한 많은 관련 문장을 추출하기 위하여 중심 벡터에 기반한 통계적 방법을 적용하였으며, 정확도와 재현율 성능을 개선하기 위해 위키피디어 같은 외부 지식을 사용한 중심 단어의 개선된 가중치 측도를 적용하였다. 실험 대상인 전자신문 말뭉치 상에서 출현 빈도수가 큰 20 인의 IT 인물에 대해 제안한 방법이 개선된 성능을 보임을 알 수 있었다.

음성의 안정적 변수 추출 및 변수의 의미 연구 (Study for Extraction of Stable Vocal Features and Definition of the Features)

  • Objectives : In this paper, we proposed a method for selecting reliable variables from various vocal features such as frequency derivative features, frequency band ratios, intensities of 5 vowels and an intensity of a sentence, since some features are sensitive to the variation of a subject's utterance. Methods : To obtain the reliable voice variables, the coefficient of variation (CV) was used as the index to evaluate the level of reliability. Since the distributions of a few features are not Gaussian, but are instead skewed to the right or left, we transformed the features by taking the log or square root. Moreover, the definition of the variables that are suitable to represent the vocal property was explained and analyzed. Results : At first, we recorded the vowels and the sentence five times both in the morning and afternoon of the same day, totally ten recordings from each of six subjects (three males and three females). We then analyzed the CVs of each subject's voice to obtain the stable features with a sufficient repeatability. The features having less than 20% CVs for all six subjects were selected. As a result, 92 stable variables from the 222 features were extracted, which included all the transformed variables. Conclusions : Voice can be widely used to classify the four constitution types and to recognize one's health condition from extracting meaningful features as physical quantity in traditional Korean medicine or Western medicine. Therefore, stable voice variables can be useful in the u-Healthcare system of personalized medicine and for improving diagnostic accuracy.

부채꼴 모델에 기반한 CSS3 극좌표계 서식 모듈의 설계 (Design of CSS3 Polar-Coordinate Layout Module based on Fan Model)

  • Most web documents are written in Cartesian coordinates, so the study of vertical arrangement of text has been well organized, while the study of circular arrangement is very early. With the recent development of circular display devices, the demand for circular arrangement of texts is increasing. Thus, we proposed a CSS3 extended specification of polar coordinate layout for the circular placement of text. First, we defined the concept of fan model for the text arrangement in polar coordinate which is corresponding to box model in Cartesian coordinate. And, we described new definition on the directions of sentence, paragraph and text orientation in polar coordinate. Based on this new definitions, we developed the extended specification consisting of three parts. A part for setting the fan model, a part for setting directions, and a part for setting typesetting properties. To verify the feasibility of the proposed specification in current web browsers, a preprocessor was developed and sample contents were examined. We compared the code length of the sample contents implemented using other JavaScript library CssWarp.js so as to verify the efficiency of the proposed specification.

  • The left-associative grammar model (LAG) has been applied successfully to the morphologic and syntactic analysis of various european and asian languages. The algebraic definition of the LAG is very well suited for the application to natural language processing as it inherently obeys de Saussure's second law (de Saussure, 1913, p. 103) on the linear nature of language, which phrase-structure grammar (PSG) and categorial grammar (CG) do not. This paper describes the so-called Loom-LAGs (LLAG) -a specialization of LAGs for the analysis of natural language. Whereas the only means of language-independent abstraction in ordinary LAG is the principle of possible continuations, LLAGs introduce a set of more detailed language-independent generalizations that form the so-called loom of a Loom-LAG. Every LLAG uses the very smut loom and adds the language-specific information in the form of a declarative description of the language -much like an ancient mechanised Jacquard-loom would take a program-card providing the specific pattern for the cloth to be woven. The linguistic information is formulated declaratively in so-called syntax plans that describe the sequential structure of clauses and phrases. This approach introduces the explicit notion of phrases and sentence structure to LAG without violating de Saussure's second law iud without leaving the ground of the original algebraic definition of LAG, LLAGS can in fact be shown to be just a notational variant of LAG -but one that is much better suited for the manual development of syntax grammars for the robust analysis of free texts.

XML 기반 다이어그램 시스템 (A Diagram System based on XML)

  • XML 문서와 관련된 기존의 다이어그램 시스템은 대부분 특정한 목적으로 이용할 수 있도록 작성되어 있다. 또한 다이어그램 컴포넌트가 정의되어 있지 않기 때문에 자동적으로 DML 문서를 생성하기가 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 XML 문서가 실행될 수 있는 다이어그램 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 다이어그램 시스템은 위지웍(WYSIWYG) 개념을 이용하여 다이어그램 컴포넌트를 정의하며, 자동적으로 DML 문서를 생성할 수 있도록 설계되었다. 따라서 더욱 효율적으로 새로운 다이어그램을 개발할 수 있으며, DTD를 이용해 다이어그램에 대한 문법을 정의함으로써 XML DTD에 대한 의미적 일관성을 유지하였다. 또한 본 시스템은 다이어그램 문장에 대한 문법검사와 의미실행을 위하여 VPL(Visual programming Language) 개념을 이용하였다. 본 시스템을 활용하면, DML 문서를 쉽게 생성할 수 있고, XML DTD 기반의 문법검사와 의미실행을 할 수 있다.

초등 수학 교과서의 수학 용어 정의 및 문장제에 사용된 표현의 문장 복잡성 비교 분석 (A Comparative Analysis of the Word Depth Appearing in Representations Used in the Definitions of Mathematical Terms and Word Problem in Elementary School Mathematics Textbook)

  • 본 연구는 현행 초등 수학 교과서 내 주요 용어의 정의 및 단원평가의 문장제에 사용된 표현을 구문론적 관점에서 문장 복잡성(Yngve, 1960)에 따라 비교분석하였다. 분석 결과, 교과서 내 용어의 정의와 문장제에 사용된 표현에서 저학년 교과서의 문장 복잡성이 낮게 구성되었고, 각 용어의 개별 특성에 따라 문장 구조 및 형태가 서로 다르게 나타나며, 전반적으로 간결하며 문장 복잡성이 낮게 해당 용어의 정의 및 문장제가 서술되었고 용어 정의의 문장이 문장제의 문장보다 복잡하게 구성되었음을 알 수 있었다. 초등학생이 복잡한 문장으로 인하여 수학적 개념 학습의 어려움을 겪지 않도록 교과서 내 문장을 명확하게 서술하고, 적절한 시각적 자료를 함께 제시하며, 개별 학습자의 문해 수준에 알맞은 설명을 보다 섬세하게 고려하여 제공하는 등의 노력이 필요하다.
