양산성 확보를 위한 체계공학 기반의 개발단계 품질보증 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development Stage Quality Assurance Solution based on System Engineering for Securing Producibility)

  • Purpose: This study aims to built the manual for quality assurance at development stages based on the system engineering to prevent the lack of mass product capability in advance. Methods: This study have proposed quality baseline and review guidelines of outputs in system development stages for R&D quality assurance of Domestic weapons systems Results: We apply the this method to 21 projects of military area in 2016, and we present 1,291 supplementary requirements such as adding the missing test items. Conclusion: This method contribute to minimize the gap between the quality of development and production and reduce the configuration management effort during the initial production.

  • Purpose: Classify quality assurance work for munitions as service quality attributes. And to derive service elements that need improvement to improve customer satisfaction through calculation of customer satisfaction coefficient. Methods: The quality assurance service for munitions is classified as service quality based on the Kano model through a questionnaire survey of workers in military service companies located in Busan and Kyung-nam areas. Investigate current customer satisfaction with service quality of defense quality assurance activites, and calculate customer satisfaction coefficient and potential customer satisfaction improvement index. Results: Identify current satisfaction levels for service quality of defense quality assurance activites and suggest service quality factors that should be improved to improve customer satisfaction. Conclusion: The service quality factor for the defense quality assurance service was classified into 13, and the customer satisfaction coefficient was lower than the satisfaction coefficient. When looking at the current level of customer satisfaction through the Potential Customer Satisfaction Index, attractive quality factors with PCSI indices were found to be necessary for service improvement.

  • As the IT service environment grows, it is critical in terms of IT service quality to minimize the occurrence of failures due to changes in applications and to diagnose and recover in a short period of time how failure will affect the business. Thus, the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) has been building and operating ITSMs to implement IT service management in a leading manner. Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) is divided into events, obstacles, changes, versions and setup management to ensure flexibility and stability in service delivery. It is also operated separately from service level, availability, capacity, financial and IT service continuity management to ensure service quality and cost efficiency. Based on ITSM military service history, this study looks at the impact of quality of service on value, satisfaction, and trust. The results of the analysis are highly valuable for future ITSM implementation and operation.

특허 마이닝을 이용한 국방관련 국제특허분류 개선 방안 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of the Defense-related International Patent Classification using Patent Mining)

  • Purpose: As most defense technologies are classified as confidential, the corresponding International Patent Classifications (IPCs) require special attention. Consequently, the list of defense-related IPCs has been managed by the government. This paper aims to evaluate the defense-related IPCs and propose a methodology to revalidate and improve the IPC classification scheme. Methods: The patents in military technology and their corresponding IPCs during 2009~2020 were utilized in this paper. Prior to the analysis, patents are divided into private and public sectors. Social network analysis was used to analyze the convergence structure and central defense technology, and association rule mining analysis was used to analyze the convergence pattern. Results: While the public sector was highly cohesive, the private sector was characterized by easy convergence between technologies. In addition, narrow convergence was observed in the public sector, and wide convergence was observed in the private sector. As a result of analyzing the core technologies of defense technology, defense-related IPC candidates were identified. Conclusion: This paper presents a comprehensive perspective on the structure of convergence of defense technology and the pattern of convergence. It is also significant because it proposed a method for revising defense-related IPCs. The results of this study are expected to be used as guidelines for preparing amendments to the government's defense-related IPC.

국방연구개발사업 제조성숙도 평가결과에 대한 연관도 분석 (Association Analysis for MRA Results of Defense R&D)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to propose useful idea and data by association analyzing MRA results of defense research and development. Methods: The collected data through the DTaQ MRA system are analyzed using three association analysis measurements. Results: The results of this study are as follows; some evaluation items are very highly associated according to confidence and lift. The result is also meaningful as contents of evaluation items. The result of this study suggests a direction for improvement of MRA system. Conclusion: Some evaluation items of MRA are meaningfully associated. Therefore, the result can support the improvement of MRA system.

국제품질보증제도 활용을 통한 방산 국외도입품 품질 안정화 방안 (A Study on Stabilization Measures for Foreign Military Product Quality Using the International Quality Assurance System)

  • Purpose: The study proposes extended application of reviewing and developing international quality assurance system for useful and practical quality stabilization of foreign military product. There are several problems with quality assurance activities for foreign military products. To improve theses problems, this study researches measures and effects of entrustment of quality assurance activities to suppliers group abroad by utilizing the system. Methods: In order to carry out the research, consignment system for international quality assurance activity of advanced country has been analysed through this study. By applying the consignment system to the case of foreign military product, the possibility and effects of consignment is researched. Results: Through this study the procedure and substance of the international quality assurance system is verified. The quality assurance activities were consigned to suppliers group by utilizing the system, thus application basis for international quality assurace activities is established. Conclusion: Defense Import through The Quality Assurance System of trade countries using the International Quality Assurance System suggests the solution to endemic problems. The Introduction Military Product with the Quality Assurance System of Korean Government improves the competitiveness of defense export.

가속노화시험을 이용한 단기추진제의 저장수명예측에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Shelf-life Prediction of the Single Base Propellants Using Accelerated Aging Test)

  • The danger of self-ignition of single base propellants will increase with time. Therefore, a good prediction of the safe storage time is very important. In order to determine the remaining shelf-life of the propellants, the content of stabilizer is determined. The propellants stored under normal storage conditions about 10 to 18 years were investigated and accelerated aging test was carried out by storing propellant sample at higher temperature. Finally, we analyzed the results by various methods in order to show the best way to predict the realistic shelf-life. The safe storage life of the propellants will be 24 years, at least 15 years. In case of applying Arrhenius's law, using the reaction rate constant at 28$^{\circ}C$ to 30$^{\circ}C$ to predict the shelf-life by accelerated aging test is reasonable for a good prediction.

  • Purpose: Although the development of bulletproof helmets continues to be carried out, little has been improved in testing methods. Therefore, in this study, we studied the improvement of the test method of the domestic bulletproof helmet. Methods: The causes of head damage in the battlefield and the trends of bulletproof helmet development in developed countries were analyzed. In addition, improvements were derived by comparing the test methods of bulletproof helmet in Korea and the United States. Results: The results of the improvement by comparing the test methods of bulletproof helmet in Korea and the United States are as follows First, it is an addition to the scope of environmental treatment. Second, it is an addition to the level of protection. Third, the addition of the level of protection by impact. Conclusion: This study considered testing methods to prevent head injuries to shocks that cannot be identified by conventional methods. In addition, it considered testing methods for various threats by improving protection performance to advanced countries' levels.

  • Purpose: This study is to investigate the literature on accelerated tests based on the acceleration model and to provide a compilation of results on the parameters applied in the acceleration model and the test conditions. Methods: This research is conducts a literature review on accelerated tests using the acceleration model, with a focus on test targets, test conditions, and parameter values. The study is organizing the results of this literature review to facilitate their application in the design of reliability tests. Results: A literature review investigated a variety of test targets, test conditions, and parameter values. Conclusion: The results of the literature research conducted revealed various acceleration model parameter. Such literature research on accelerated tests can establish the foundation for reliability test design and contribute to future product development and quality improvement
