We have used various information technologies (IT) in group decision-making for increasing effectiveness and satisfaction of group decision-making process. Recently, a new form of IT so called Group Decision supprot System (GDSS) was introduced into group decision-making process. Previous experimental studies about effectiveness of GDSSS have been inconsistent and the results were mixed. There was no empirical studies about GDSS in Korea. In this study, we divide two groups-GDSS supported group and traditional face-to-face group and investigate impacts of GDSS on group decision-making processes and outcomes. An idea generation task for operational action plan development, implementing GEO's strategic vision, served as the decision-making context. Supported GDSS is GroupSystems V, which had been developed by Univ. of Arizona. It was translated by Korean. According to the results, Number of nonredundant ideas in GDSS group is two or three times more than Non-GDSS grop. GDSS group feel more equal status, have better interpersonal relationship, have more confidence on group decision than Non-GDSS group. But satisfaction of participants on decision-making process and outcome has not showed a significant difference between two groups. Because all of participants in GDSS group were novice to GDSS. With this results we suggest further studies on transforming western type GDSS to Korean decision-making culture. It will be cornerstone for development of GDSS in Korean desision-making culture. It will be cornerstone for devlopment of GDSS in Korean decsion making culture environment.

An optimal selection problem of SCM system is one of the critical issues for the company's competitiveness and performance under global economy. This paper presents a hierarchy model consisted of characteristic factors for introducing SCM system and an AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) based decision-making model for SCM system evaluation and selection. The proposed model can systematically construct the objectives of SCM system selection to meet the business goals. This paper focuses on selecting an optimal SCM system considering both all decision factors and sub-decision factors of a hierarchy model. Especially, the benefit/cost analysis is applied to choose SCM system. A case study shows the feasibility of the proposed model and the model can help a company to make better decision-making in the SCM system selection problem.

The main objective of this research is to identify the evaluation criteria of the local governments' projects for the fisheries industry development (LGPFID) and to develop the evaluation software prototype applicable to LGPFID. This research does not try to develop the whole evaluation processes and programs for LGPFID, but just to outline the approach to managing LGPFID. The evaluation processes and programs developed in this study is based on the group decision support systems(GDSS), which is a collaborative, system-oriented, and objective system useful in evaluating LGPFID. Specifically the goals of the programs are to : (1) enhance the quality of evaluation process for LGPFID; (2) provide the local government decision makers' and interest groups' access to comprehensive evaluation information; (3) support private-public collaboration in government's decision making. We used analytic hierarchy process model as a group decision making model and programmed the application software prototype with Visual Basic language.

최근 GIS는 국내에서 뿐 아니라 외국에서도 마케팅의 의사결정문제와 그에 따른 의사결정지원시스템에 적용이 시도되고 있다. GIS는 강력한 공간분석 기능과 함께 자료의 통합과 그래픽 기능 등을 갖추고 있으며 이와 같은 기능으로 인해 많은 소매 운영자와 생산자들로 구성되는 패션 산업에 있어서 의사결정을 지원하는 하나의 좋은 수단으로서 점차 인식이 확산되고 있다. 이러한 시점에 본 논문에서는 GIS를 패션마케팅에 적용함에 있어서 몇가지 주요한 요소들을 고찰하여 보았다. 이를 위해 현재의 패션마케팅 의사결정문제에 있어서의 주요 이슈에 대한 문제제기에서 출발하여 다속성 의사결정과 다목적 의사결정의 프레임이 어떻게 패션마케팅 의사결정지원에 이용될 수 있는가를 알아보고 이를 실제로 구현하는데 있어서의 한계점 역시 아울러 고찰하여 보았다. 논의의 주안점은 주로 현재의 패션마케팅 의사결정시스템과 GIS 기능의 통합에 두었다.

This study seeks to provide implications for domestic-related policies through exploratory analysis research to support AI-based policy decision-making. The following should be considered when establishing an AI-based decision-making model in Korea. First, we need to understand the impact that the use of AI will have on policy and the service sector. The positive and negative impacts of AI use need to be better understood, guided by a public value perspective, and take into account the existence of different levels of governance and interests across public policy and service sectors. Second, reliability is essential for implementing innovative AI systems. In most organizations today, comprehensive AI model frameworks to enable and operationalize trust, accountability, and transparency are often insufficient or absent, with limited access to effective guidance, key practices, or government regulations. Third, the AI system is accountable. The OECD AI Principles set out five value-based principles for responsible management of trustworthy AI: inclusive growth, sustainable development and wellbeing, human-centered values and fairness values and fairness, transparency and explainability, robustness, security and safety, and accountability. Based on this, we need to build an AI-based decision-making system in Korea, and efforts should be made to build a system that can support policies by reflecting this. The limiting factor of this study is that it is an exploratory study of existing research data, and we would like to suggest future research plans by collecting opinions from experts in related fields. The expected effect of this study is analytical research on artificial intelligence-based decision-making systems, which will contribute to policy establishment and research in related fields.

Conflict resolution in decision-making groups is studied using a System Dynamics model. The model is developed using a grounded-theory approach. Some preliminary results are shown. The results seem to be in line with much empirical research done in the management literature about conflict and conflict resolution at the group level of analysis. Ideas for further research are discussed.

This paper presents an analysis of the impact of the causal looping method to the Korean middle managers' decision-making processes. The sample included the observations of decisions made by 70 groups with 5 to 7 members each. The results showed that the causal looping method was a strong device to help Korean managers followed value-focused decision processes, as opposite to alternative-focuses ones. The lessons from this study suggest a direction for the development of the education method to improve group decision-making processes.

The emergence of the Internet shopping agent enabled consumers to enjoy Internet shopping more easily and quickly. Especially, the role of Internet shopping agent is becoming more important following the information overload trend on the Internet in that the consumers can promptly obtain information about a certain product and its price among countless items on the Internet. As a result, consumers can now enjoy shopping more easily, compared to the offline shopping which requires a lot of efforts in comparing the products and purchasing them. Since the Internet shopping agents collect extensive information about the products' price, delivery period, detailed characteristics, etc., and present a comparison table containing the information to the consumers, the consumers can shop more quickly at lower price using such shopping agents. However, it has not been sufficiently studied about how the various functions of shopping agents actually support consumers' purchase decision making procedure in everyday life, and if they do, in which stages they play a supporting role in consumers' purchase decision making system. Therefore, this study conducts an empirical analysis on the role of the Internet shopping agents in the purchase decision making process of the consumers, considering the Internet shopping agent as a decision making supporting system. Moreover, it analyzes how the effects of the Internet shopping agent differs according to the consumers' knowledge level about the products.

This paper introduced a procedure for improving the quality of group decision making in various task types. Emphasis is placed on the construction of the optimal GDSS(Group Decision Support System) design with identifying the group decision characteristics of decision stages on the various task types. Especially, the identification of outliers and the establishment of confidence limits in group decision making were stressed. Participants in group decision making whose 'opinions fall outside the group's tolerance level are further studied to annex the source of this variation. The result showed that a preparation stage in the generating idea-type task and a illumination stage in the negotiating-type task were critical. Furthermore, the degree of the disagreement was severe in the verification and the preparation stages on group decision making. This paper developed a general procedure for improving the quality of group decision making. The procedure presented helps in identifying those stakeholders whose opinions may significantly deviate from that of the group.

최근 건설산업은 구조물의 일부 또는 전체를 대상으로 제조업의 체계적인 생산시스템인 공장생산방식을 활용하여 생산성을 향상시키기 위한 방안을 마련하고 있다. 하지만 효과를 검증하지 않고 무조건적으로 공장생산방식을 도입한다면 생산 규모와 위치에 따라 현장생산보다 공사비용이나 공기가 증가되는 경우도 있다. 공장생산방식을 보다 효과적으로 활용하기 위해서는 공장생산방식과 현장생산방식을 다양한 기준으로 비교해본 후 적용여부에 대한 의사결정이 이루어져야한다. 본 연구는 기존의 연구와 사례분석을 통하여 공장생산방식의 적용에 필요한 의사결정요인을 도출하고 이를 고려한 의사결정모델을 제시하고자한다 크게 3단계의 연구방법을 거쳐 의사결정을 내릴 수 있는 의사결정순서도와 의사결정모형도를 작성하였다. (1) 공장생산방식 적용 의사결정요인을 도출하고 구조화하여 (2) 공장생산의 규모와 공장의 위치의 변화에 따른 이익, 비용, 공기를 산출한 후 (3) 현장생산방식과 공장생산방식을 반복적으로 비교함으로써 의사결정을 내릴 수 있는 모델을 제시하였다.
