The object of this work is to develop an assessment system for pipeline integrity. The system consists of four module applications for internal algorithm; the effect of corrosion in pipeline, crack, stress corrosion crack (SCC) and fatigue modules and the effect of cavity. Presently, the module of the external corrosion has been developed and the internal algorithm for the effect of corrosion in pipeline and the database of the system are described in this paper. The database of the system is separated to mainly four parts; geometry of pipeline, material properties, boundary conditions and general properties. Each components of the system are designed by user-friendly concept. This system may give a guideline for maintenance and modifications for the pipeline at the industrial sight. Furthermore, a procedure to evaluate an inspection interval is also provided.

Harmful contents on a mobile platform are becoming serious problems to young people due to the prevalence of smart phones with the fast development of mobile technology. Mobile applications and contents are so much optimized on the mobile environment that young men are exposed to many harmful contents. A system for blocking harmful contents is suggested in this study. The system includes a local proxy function, filtering module, and local database in order to increase the blocking efficiency. The local proxy function and the filtering module are implemented on an Android platform, and the local database are running on a PC-based server. The suggested system perfectly blocks harmful contents, and shows relatively high speed.

본 논문에서는 유중가스 분석법을 이용하여 실리콘 유입변압기를 효과적으로 진단할 수 있는 전문가 시스템의 개발에 관하여 연구하였다. 변압기 진단 방법은 유입기기에 대한 진단 방법으로서 현재까지 많은 연구가 진행되어 왔고 비교적 효과적인 분석법으로서 신뢰를 얻고 있는 유중가스분석법을 이용하였다. 그러나 유중가스 분석법은 경계 및 규칙의 불확실성이 필연적이기 때문에 이를 처리하기 위하여 소속정도 및 퍼지척도를 적용하여 해결하였다. 개발한 전문가 시스템은 크게 지식베이스 모듈, 추론엔진 모듈, 사용자 인터페이스 모듈로 이루어져 있으며, 지식베이스 모듈은 규칙을 이용한 지식표현을 사용하였고, 추론엔진 모듈은 후방향 추론을 이용하고, 퍼지규칙을 도입하였다. 사용자 인터페이스 모듈은 현장의 사용자가 쉽게 사용할 수 있도록 GUI 환경으로 구성하였다. 또한 변압기 개개의 이력 관리를 통하여 좀 더 효과적인 진단을 할 수 있도록 전문가 시스템을 데이터베이스와 연계하였다. 제안한 전문가 시스템에 대하여 실리콘유의 유중가스 데이터를 이용하여 검증한 결과 모든 사례에 대하여 정확한 판단 결과를 얻음으로써 실리콘 유입변압기를 효과적으로 진단할 수 있음을 증명하였다.

This paper presents a sensing system for smart home which can detect an location transition events such as entrance/exit of a member and identify the user in a group at the same time. The proposed system is compose of two sub-systems; a wireless sensor network system and a database server system. The wireless sensing system is designed as a star network where each of sensing modules with ultrasonic sensors and a Bluetooth RF module connect to a central receiver called Bluetooth access point. We propose a method to discriminate a user by measuring the height of the user. The differences in the height of users is a key feature for discrimination. At the same time, the each sensing module can recognize whether the user goes into or out a room by using two ultrasonic sensors. The server subsystem is a sort of data logging system which read the detected event from the access point and then write it into a database system. The database system could provide the location transition information to wide range of context-aware applications for smart home easily and conveniently. We evaluate the developed method with experiments for three subjects in a family with the installation of the developed system into a real house.

Turn-key and CMF(CM for Fee) have been selected as procurement paths of large public projects in Korea. However, recently, researches and discussions on CMR(CM at Risk) have been popular as the Korean government seeks for alternative procurement paths to enhance the performance. In the CMR projects, the part who is responsible for construction management should predict and control the potential risks for guaranteeing benefits. In this research, CMR projects in which a general contractor plays the role as CMr is mainly analyzed. We give attentions to risk management during construction process given that subcontractors, main parts in this phase, work in various ways and thus more chances for faults exist. In this case, CMr manages risks to control the procedure of project. So, potential risk factors can constitute the database, and that database can be matched to following activity. And construction manager can forecast measures of risk using the result of matching. This chain of activities increase efficiency in roles of CMr on CMR(CM at Risk). Furthermore this study will propose one of the solution of Construction Management Module.

본 논문은 대용량의 데이터베이스 내에서 유용한 정보를 검색하기 위해 웹 기반하에 적응형 정보추출 에이전트 모듈 설계이다. 인터넷을 통한 정보 검색이 일반화됨에 따라 검색시간의 최소화를 기하면서 사용자의 요구조건에 맞는 유용한 정보 제공이 필요하다. 구축되는 지식베이스 시스템의 스키마 구성요소의 도메인이 이진 검색이 가능한 필드 도메인이 있는 가하면 그렇지 않은 불확실한 도메인도 존재한다. 최초의 대용량 지식베이스에서 사용자의 자연어 질의어에 대해 러프셋의 리턱트롤 통해 최소지식베이스를 생성한 후, 축소된 스키마의 도메인의 불확실성찬 값에 대한 연산을 처리는 퍼지합성 연산처리 모듈에 의해 소프팅 컴퓨팅이 수행토록 설계하였다.

In recent, interests regarding open source software for geo-spatial processing are increasing. Open source remote sensing (OSRS) is regarded as one of the progressing and advanced fields in remote sensing. Nevertheless, analyses or application cases regarding OSRS are not enough for general uses or references. In this study, three kinds of OSRS software in consideration of international popularity, types of functionalities, and development environments are taken into account: OSSIM, Opticks, and ORFEO Toolbox (OTB). First, functional comparison with respect to these is carried out on the level of the preliminary survey. According to this investigation, OTB is chosen as the most applicable OSRS software in this study. Running on OTB, NIX format importing module and database connecting module are implemented for widely general uses and further application. As for an example case, airborne image of NIX format is used to region growing segmentation algorithm in OTB, and then the results are stored and retrieved in PostGIS database to test implemented modules. Conclusively, local customization and algorithm development using OSRS software are necessary to build on-demand applications from the developers' viewpoint.

A computer aided expert system fur spur, helical, bevel and worm gears was newly developed by using AutoiCAD system and its AutoLISP computer language in the present study. Two methods are available for a designer to draw a gear. The first method needs the gear design parameters such as pressure, module, number of tooth, shaft angle, velocity, materials, etc. When the gear design parameters are inputted, a gear is drawn in AutoCAD system and maximum allowable power and shaft diameter are calculated additionally. The second method calculates all dimensions and gear design parameters to draw a gear when the information such as transmission, reduction ratio, nm, materials and pressure are inputted. The system includes four programs. Each program is composed of a data input module, a database module, a strength calculation module, a drawing module, a text module and a drawing edit module. In conclusion, the CAD system would be widely used in companies to find the geometric data and manufacturing course.

데이터베이스에 저장되어 있는 데이터를 그리드 시스템에서 사용하기 위해서는 먼저 시스템에 필요한 데이터를 수집하여 데이터베이스나 파일 시스템에 저장한 후, 데이터베이스의 데이터 및 그 인덱스를 관리하는 전용의 모듈을 별도로 구현하고, 그리드 시스템에 연동시켜야 한다. 웹 기반의 데이터 검색 시스템을 구현하여 데이터베이스에 있는 데이터들을 그리드 시스템에서 바로 사용할 수 있다면, 전용의 데이터 모듈 없이 그리드 시스템에서 바로 데이터를 처리할 수 있으므로, 보다 효율적이고 사용하기 쉬우며, 데이터베이스의 변경에 유연하게 대처한 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서는 웹 기반 데이터베이스의 데이터를 바로 그리드 시스템과 연계시켜 사용한 수 있는 검색 시스템을 제안한다. 이 검색 시스템을 이용하여 버추얼 스크리닝 작업을 수행하는 바이오 그리드 시스템에 적용하여 UB Grid (Universal Bio Grid)를 구축하였다. 개발자는 웹에서 제공되는 데이터론 그리드 시스템에 통합시키기 위한 시간과 노력을 줄일 수 있었으며, 사용자는 보다 쉽게 효율적으로 UB Grid 시스템을 사용한 수 있었다.

If optimum design technique is applied in the design of packaging container for bulk materials, merits on the side of not only economic and compression performance but distribution efficiency are expected. In this study, on the ground of the optimum models for required board area and compression strength performance, optimum design program having faculties of outward and inward optimum design and information design was developed. This program was composed of input module, output module, database and management module, and calculation module. Though the packaging specifications ars same, requied board area, board composition and cost of container were greatly different according to exterior packaging conditions. Also, about 12% in weight of container was lighter, and about $13{\sim}17%$ in cost of container was reduced when the program was applied for 2 kinds of bulk materials.
