This paper will describe the design of database for system engineering of High Speed Railway Systems, focusing on tile ability to capture a full thread of traceability, from tile inception of a system requirement, to the test results that validate that the designed system meets criteria defined by the requirement. The database includes data models for requirement, function, component, work, work process, resource, etc.. These data models are utilized for tile efficient management of data related system design, development work, and validation.

본 논문에서는 질의어 응답시스템에 있어 핵심이 되는 사실 자료 (Fact Database) 구축의 관점에서 지식기반 방법의 중요성과 그 과정에 대해서 논의한다. 지식기반 질의어 시스템은 기존의 이용가능한 자연언어처리의 자원-형태소, 구문, 의미분석 등-과 온톨로지라는 개념구조망을 이용하는 시스템으로 이 개념을 현실세계의 사실 자료와 연결시켜 개념구조가 지닌 속성과 값의 확장을 통해 그 가능한 응답을 유도해 내는 시스템이다. 이 시스템 구축에 있어 실제 세계의 자료를 수집하고 가공하고 개념화하는 과정은 이 시스템의 성패를 좌우하는 핵심작업으로 아직은 완전히 자동화되기 어렵다. 그러나 지식기반에 기초한 방법은 응용시스템의 질적 향상이라는 측면에서 진지하게 논의될 필요가 있다. 이 글에서는 사실 자료 구축의 관점에서 이런 작업들이 어떻게 행해져야 하는지 그리고 그 방법론이 지닌 특징 및 문제점에 대해 논의한다.

통계 데이타 베이스는 데이타가 단순한 통계치일 뿐만 아니라, 일반적인 통계처리에서 필요한 통계 분석을 위해 주로 사용되는 대량의 데이타 베이스를 말한다. 통계 데이타 베이스를 관리하기 위해 기존의 범용 데이타 베이스 관리 시스템을 그대로 이용하기에는 데이타 저장과 액세스의 비효율성, 사용의 편이성의 부족과 질의어 등의 부족으로 인해 사용자의 요구를 충족시키지 못해, 새로운 관리 방법의 필요성이 요구되어 왔다. 독자적 개발에 의한 새로운 소프트웨어로써 통계 데이타 베이스를 관리할 때의 실제 이용하기 어려운 현실적 제고를 고려하여, 이 논문에서는 관계형 데이타 베이스 시스템에의 전위 시스템인 SM-F 시스템을 설계하여, 이를 이용하여 통계 데이타 베이스를 관리하는 방법을 제시하였다. 이 시스템은 통계 데이타 베이스의 효율을 고려한 시멘틱 모델인 GROS 모델을 사용하며 통계분석을 지원하고 통계 요약 정보를 제공하기 위해, 메타 데이타 베이스와 요약 데이타 베이스를 저장하고 운영한다.

본 논문에서는 현재 운영되는 수강신청 시스템에서의 데이터베이스 성능을 향상시키기 위하여 SQL문 분석을 하였다. 수강신청 업무와 관련된 트랜잭션들에서 사용 중인 SQL문장들을 실행계획을 통하여 현행 데이터베이스 성능을 측정하였으며, SQL 분석을 통하여 보완한 SQL문장들이 성능이 향상된 결과를 확인하였다. 전반적으로 실행계획 분석을 통하여 수강신청 데이터베이스 시스템의 성능을 향상시켰으며, 수강신청 SQL 의 일부 개선방법을 시험결과로 보였다. 개선된 방법은 데이터베이스 튜닝 작업을 통하여 수강신청과 관련된 테이블들과 인덱스 테이블들을 재조정하고, SQL의 기능을 활용함으로서 성능이 향상된 수강신청 데이터베이스 시스템으로 진화한 최적화된 시스템을 구현할 수 있게 되었다. 제안된 방법으로 재조정된 수강신청 시스템은 이전에 운영하던 수강신청시스템에 비하여 성능적 측면에서 우수한 결과를 나타내었으며, 통합 성능 시험 결과 1.8배 ~ 18배의 응답시간 단축을 가져왔다.

For the electric power system operation, the information to monitor the operation status of power plants and transmission lines is very important factor in the view point of system security and economic operation. This paper presents the logical and physical structures of database used by KEPCO's EMS. The adopted DataBase Management System (DBMS) of a relational model type offers many advantages such as easy maintenance of database. In addition, this paper briefly introduces the data exchange system between application programs and database.

This paper presents the methods to solve the problem about Power System Protection Program(PROSET). PROSET is a overall program system to protect power system and correct it. In the context of the PROSET, it is so difficult to edit database data when topology is changed. When the renewal of data is performed, all changed values are disappeared. Therefore, it will not be expected to know the present situation by using the information of the databases data. So it is necessary to solve this problem. Solution is copy of the user. Database of GRL,GRZ,KYP2D1,KYD2X1,L90 Relay module were developed. We made a database management system for PROSET, therefore I will show this management system briefly.

In this paper, we propose an efficient database system for video retrieval. Using the color spaces, it shows results of user's request. Each color space used following user's selection. We suggest adaptive three color systems for database. Experimental results based on a video database containing 331 shots are included.

본 논문에서는 도로 및 도로시설물의 신설과 보완에 관련된 정보의 효과적인 관리를 위해 CCD(Charge-Coupled Device) 카메라, GPS(Global Positioning Systems), INS(Inertial Navigation Systems)와 같은 3개의 위치관측센서를 통합한 차량을 이용하여 시범지역을 측량하고 이를 통해 획득된 자료를 구조적으로 Photo Database에 저장할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다. 저장된 Database를 이용한 도로시설물관리시스템의 프로토타입(Prototype)은 해당지점에 대한 실제사진을 이용해서 사용자의 대상물에 대한 인식성을 높이고 속성정보와의 연계를 통해서 해당 시설물에 대한 정성적인 정보추출과 관리가 가능함을 보여주었다.

Engineering database for CIM of injection mold production has been developed to manage design information and parameters of injection mold. The database has direct connection with product data management system and management database. Design specifications are generated in initial stage of mold design with integration of management information. Design parameters and bill of materials for mold base parts are generated during the CAD process and transferred to the manufacturing database and procurement system. Standard modules for parts and mold base are constructed using national standard and legacy data of industries. The engineering database provides important information route for CIM of injection mold design and production.
