  • This paper proposes a framework for product development including hardware and software components. The framework provides separation of the hardware dependent software, an integrated product development process, and integration of software components with product configurations and product structures. In order to separates the hardware dependent software, the framework considers product configuration modules and engineering changes of associated hardware and software components. The proposed product development process integrates development of the hardware dependent software into the existing product development process. In order to integrates the hardware dependent software with product configurations and product structures, the framework represents software components by existing product data models in Product Data Management (PDM). The framework is applied to development of a robot system including hardware and software components in order to show its effectiveness.

구매종속성이 재고관리에 미치는 영향 (Application of Purchase Dependence in Inventory Management)

  • The purpose of this paper is to illustrate the importance of identifying and considering 'purchase dependence' when purchase of an item is dependent on availability of other items demanded in the same order. This paper is the first study to develop an inventory model for purchase-dependent inventory systems. Through simulation experiments, we demonstrate that the developed inventory model incurs less inventory operations cost than other inventory models that ignore purchase dependence. For empirical validation of the developed inventory model, the actual inventory data at the Hyundai Engine Europe Service Center is used. We explain the process of identifying purchase dependencies among items through a data mining technique. The empirical study results in similar results to the simulation experiment, demonstrating that the developed inventory model is applicable to real situations.

  • The fire effectiveness and the operationability of the ground weapon system (such as tank, armored vehicle, howitzer, MLRS, ${\cdots}$), whose operations are usually happened on the ground, are dependent not only on their performances but also on the terrain environments. Especially, the artillery weapons systems' effectiveness is largely varied, because their maneuverability (such as translation, occupation of their sites) and the fire effectiveness are very dependent on the terrain. In this paper, presented are the methods how to analyze the terrain using the digital terrain data. And a software (which are implemented on the IBM PC compatible personal computer) is developed for the analysis of the terrain using the various method of computer Aided Geometric Design and Modeling. The S/W is expected to be very useful for the evaluation of the artillery weapon systems and for the commanders' decision making.

Related-Key Differential Attacks on CHESS-64

  • With limited computing and storage resources, many network applications of encryption algorithms require low power devices and fast computing components. CHESS-64 is designed by employing simple key scheduling and Data-Dependent operations (DDO) as main cryptographic components. Hardware performance for Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) and for Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC) proves that CHESS-64 is a very flexible and powerful new cipher. In this paper, the security of CHESS-64 block cipher under related-key differential cryptanalysis is studied. Based on the differential properties of DDOs, we construct two types of related-key differential characteristics with one-bit difference in the master key. To recover 74 bits key, two key recovery algorithms are proposed based on the two types of related-key differential characteristics, and the corresponding data complexity is about $2^{42.9}$ chosen-plaintexts, computing complexity is about $2^{42.9}$ CHESS-64 encryptions, storage complexity is about $2^{26.6}$ bits of storage resources. To break the cipher, an exhaustive attack is implemented to recover the rest 54 bits key. These works demonstrate an effective and general way to attack DDO-based ciphers.

  • 이 논문에 설계된 데이터제공자는 2차원과 3차원 공간 데이터 및 시간 데이터를 저장, 검색할 수 있도록 설계되었다. 데이터제공자 시스템은 이미 수집, 구축된 2차원 및 3차원 공간 데이터를 특정 지리정보시스템에 종속적인 형태로 수정하거나 변환해야하는 추가적인 작업을 생략할 수 있도록 표준 인터페이스를 제공한다. 이 시스템은 다양한 GIS 또는 소프트웨어들이 동일한 방법으로 3차원 공간 데이터와 시간 정보에 접근할 수 있도록 메타정보를 관리하고 데이터베이스와 연결하는 데이터제공자 컴포넌트와 데이터소비자를 위해 3차원 혹은 시간차원이 포함된 GIS 데이터에 대한 인덱스 관리와 공간 연산을 담당하는 데이터접근자 컴포넌트를 포함한다. 이 3차원 데이터제공자 시스템은 다양한 3차원 공간 연산과 분석기능을 제공한다.

내부점 방법을 위한 사전처리의 구현 (An Implementation of Preprocessing for Interior Point Methods for Linear Programming)

  • We classified preprocessing methods into (1) analytic methods, (2) methods for removing implied free variables, (3) methods using pivot or elementary row operations, (4) methods for removing linearly dependent rows and columns and (5) methods for dense columns. We noted some considerations to which should be paid attention when preprocessing methods are applied to interior point methods for linear programming. We proposed an efficient order of preprocessing methods and data structures. We also noted the recovery process for dual solutions. We implemented the proposed preprocessing methods. and tested it with 28 large scale problems of NETLIB. We compared the results of it with those of preprocessing routines of HOPDM, BPDPM and CPLEX.

  • This paper presents a method for estimating the population variability distribution of the failure parameter (failure rate or failure probability) for each failure mode considered in PSA (Probabilistic Safety Assessment). We focus on the utilization of generic estimates from various industry compendia for the estimation. The estimates are complicated statistics of failure data from plants. When the failure data referred in two or more sources are overlapped, dependency occurs among the estimates provided by the sources. This type of problem is first addressed in this paper. We propose methods based on ML-II estimation in Bayesian framework and discuss the characteristics of the proposed estimators. The proposed methods are easy to apply in real field. Numerical examples are also provided.

감시시스템 정확도 성능에 따른 항공기간 최소분리간격 설정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Separation Minima Determination based on Surveillance System Accuracy Performance)

  • A properly determined separation minima applied in Air Traffic Management(ATM) is critical for safe and efficient aircraft operations. The separation minima is primarily determined by the accuracy performance of surveillance system, and, due to the stringent aviation safety standard, the position accuracy of the surveillance system must be estimated with a high level of reliability. This study proposed a method for estimating the position accuracy of surveillance system with a relatively small amount of data by finding upper confidence limit instead of maximum likelihood values of unknown parameters. Through the proposed method, it is possible to determine a required separation minima with a more reliability in the face of data scarcity which often occurs when we implement a new surveillance system such as Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B).

한국형 기동무기체계 양산비 비용추정관계식 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Developing a CER Using Production Cost Data in Korean Maneuver Weapon System)

  • In this paper, we deal with developing a cost estimation relationships (CER) for Korean maneuverable weapons systems using historical production cost. To develop the CER, we collected the historical data of the production cost of four tanks and five armored vehicles. We also analyzed the Required Operational Capability (ROC) of the weapons systems and chose cost drivers that can compare operational capabilities of the weapons systems We used Forward selection, Backward selection, Stepwise Regression and $R^2$ selection as the cost drivers which have the greatest influence with the dependent variables. And we used Principle Component Regression, Robust Regression and Weighted Regression to deal with multicollinearity and outlier among the data to develop a more appropriate CER. As a result, we were able to develop a production cost CER for Korean maneuverable weapons systems that have the lowest cost errors. Thus, this research is meaningful in terms of developing a CER based on Korean original cost data without foreign data and these methods will contribute to developing a Korean cost analysis program in the future.
