As interest in big data has increased recently, NoSQL, a solution for storing and processing big data, is getting attention. NoSQL supports high speed, high availability, and high scalability, but is limited in areas where data integrity is important because it does not support multiple row transactions. To overcome these drawbacks, many studies are underway to support multiple row transactions in NoSQL. However, existing studies have a disadvantage that the number of transactions that can be processed per unit of time is low and performance is degraded. Therefore, in this paper, we design and implement a multi-row transaction system for data integrity in big data environment based on HBase, a column-based NoSQL which is widely used recently. The multi-row transaction system efficiently performs multi-row transactions by adding columns to manage transaction information for every user table. In addition, it controls the execution, collision, and recovery of multiple row transactions through the transaction manager, and it communicates with HBase through the communication manager so that it can exchange information necessary for multiple row transactions. Finally, we performed a comparative performance evaluation with HAcid and Haeinsa, and verified the superiority of the multirow transaction system developed in this paper.

The purpose of this study is twofold: to document the current research trends, significance, and actual situation of family business in Germany, and to describe the characteristics of family business work, workers, and interactions influencing work and family functioning in Germany. For this purpose, this study reviewed the sate of family business in Germany through out theoretical approach and secondary national data. In addition, this study collected in 1998 data through face-to-face interviews with female family business managers in Germany. Results of the present study indicate that family business plays a very important role in the economy of Germany. More than 85% of all companies are family businesses, which produce over 60% of GDP in Germany. The notable characteristics of family business households were the high proportion of home owners, high education level of the family business manager, high involvement of family members in family business. Also the high work sati faction among the family members who worked in family business, the effect of family business work on family life, and effect of the family on business success were extremely positive.

This paper focuses on development and implementation of a performance management algorithm for IEEE802.4 token bus networks to serve large-sale integrated systems. The delivery of time critical messages within delay constraints is an important criterion in the design and management of computer communication networks. In order to achieve this goal, the theory of fuzzy sets has been employed to imitate human's reasoning. The Fuzzy Network Performance Manager(FNPM) is composed of two parts: FNPM1 & FNPM2. FNPM1 is solily intended to satisfy the data latencyfor the highest priority while the other part is trying to satisfy those for the lower priorities. The FNPM requires average data latency, throughput, and token circulation time for its inputs. The efficacy of the FNPM has been evaluated by a series of simulation experiments.

Although design process is a creative work, it includes a lot of iterations. Statistics show that about 15 to 40 percent of the total design activity is spent on time-consuming retrieval of technical informations such as standard part, handbook, engineering equation,previous design and so on. On the other hand, product structure and parts specifications change with the design process, which also need to be traced accordingly. The BOM, design history, and all the relecant technical informations can be managed can be efficiently within a unified framework called configuration. This paper presents a prototype of a configuration manager which is a part of the engineering data management system for machine tools.

It is known that about 15 to 40 percent of total design time is spent on retrieving information such as standard parts handbook data, engineering equations, previous designs. This paper describes a knowledge management system for machine tool design. Product structuring, change management, and complex design knowledge management are possible through the developed system. The system can speed up the design process by making necessary data instantly available as it is needed and keeping track of all the relevant design information and knowledge including individual decisions, design intentions, documents, and drawings.

Policy-based networking offers a network manager the ability to manage the network in a holistic and dynamic fashion rather than force a network manager to manage the network by dealing with each device individually. Policy-based networking is focusing on users and applications instead of emphasizing devices and interfaces. An important part of the policy-based networking is to simplify the task of administration and management for different disciplines. The Defense Information System(DIS) of today are complex and heterogeneous systems. Operational needs are not a trivial task and Quality of Service(QoS) is not generally guaranteed. So, important data may be missed or congested by trivial data. Policy-based networking provide a way to support QoS and simplify the management of multiple devices deploying complex technologies. This paper suggest implementation of policy-based networking in DIS to improvement of performance, and implementation is progressed step by step. Especially this paper is focusing on the providing QoS with policy-based networking using Lightweight Directory Access Protocol(LDAP) Server.

통계 데이타베이스의 효율적 이용을 위해 통계 분석을 위한 요약 정보를 미리 계산하여 저장함으로써 사용자에게 빠른 응답시간내에 통계 정보를 제공하려는 요약 데이타베이스와 이의 효율적인 관리와 사용의 편리를 위한 메타 데이타베이스가 생성되고 관리되어야만 한다. 요약 데이타베이스를 효율적으로 이용한 통계 분석 작업의 환경과 사용자의 편이성을 지원하기 위하여 계층 구조 형태인 데이타 사전/디렉토리의 형태로 독립적으로 운영되는 메타 데이타베이스와 관리기의 설계 및 구현 작업과 이를 이용한 운영 방법 등이 제시되었다.

본 연구는 학교에서 얻어지는 교사들의 경험을 바탕으로 인터넷을 통한 학생상담의 효율성 증대를 위한 상담 사례 검색 시스템을 구축하는데 있다. 이 시스템은 관리자 모듈과 사용자 모듈로 구성되어 있다. 사용자 모듈은 상담사례 검색 및 입력, 게시판, 자료실 등을 이용할 수 있게 되어 있으며, 관리자 모듈은 자료 관리와 회원 관리 기능을 제공한다. 본 상담사례 검색 시스템은 학생 상담의 성공 확률을 증대시킬 수 있다. 교사가 인터넷을 이용하여 그들의 상담사례를 원격지에서도 쉽게 공유할 수 있기 때문이다.

A method to adaptively control leg-ends trajectories of a five-legged walking robot, Cepheus-2, has been developed in terms of a kind of a table look-up method. Cepheus-2 is a five-legged robot with a pentagonal body with two joints of each leg. The robot control system has a hierarchical autonomic-integrated architecture with a main computer (PC), a manager and servo modules. Being given the goals of walking by the main computer, the manager module assigns a type of leg-end trajectories of which data are described with the work space coordinates for the legs.
