환상이중원관에서 R-113의 비등열전달에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Boiling Heat Transfer of R-113 in a Concentric Annular Tube)

  • The two-phase flow is observed in power plants, chemical process plants, and refrigeration systems etc., and it is very important to solve the heat transfer mechanism of a boiler, an automic reactor, a condenser and various types of evaporators. Recently, the problem of two phase heat transfer is braught up in many regions with development of energy saving technique. In flow boiling system it is necessary to store data in each condition because the heat transfer characteristics of flow boiling region vary by the change of flow pattern and the magnetude of heat flux to tube length, and be subtly affected by the flow and heating condition. So basic study for knowing flow pattern in heat transfer region and the relation between heat transfer characteristic and flow condition is desired to accumulate data in wide variety of liquid and flow system in the study of heat transfer of two phase flow. In this study R-113 was selected as working fluid whose properties were programmed by least square method, and experiment was conducted in the region of mass flow $1.628{\times}10^6$~$4.884{\times}10^6$/kg/$m^2$hr with inlet subcooling 10~3$0^{\circ}C$, sustaining test section inlet pressure to 1.5kg$_f$/$cm^2$abs.

Discrimination and Quantitative Analysis of Watercore in Apple Fruit by Near Infrared Transmittance Spectroscopy

  • The watercore in apple is very important factor in storage and sorting of fruit. Most consumers tend to prefer the apple included watercore in immediately after harvest, however the watercore causes fruit flesh to brown during storage and lose the worth after all. But it is practically impossible to judge to the naked eye whether an apple has watercore or not. Therefore, the rapid, accurate and non-destructive analysis method for discrimination of watercore should be settled without delay. In this study we attempted the discrimination and quantitative analysis of watercore in apple fruit using near-infrared transmittance spectroscopy ‘Fuji’ apple fruits produced in Kyungpook of Korea was used in this experiment. The watercore content in apple was evaluated by graphic treatment of culled slice sections(10 mm). NIR transmittance spectra were collected over the 500 to 1000 nm spectral region with a spectrometer (Sentronic Co., Germany). The calibration models were carried out by partial least squares (PLS) analysis between NIR spectra data of apples and chemical data of watercore content. The spectra were different in absorbance between apple included watercore and not included one. Apple included watercore had higher absorption band than sample not included one at 732 and 820 nm. The calibration model seems to be accurate to predict the watercore content in apple fruit, the correlation coefficient (R) and root mean square error of prediction (RMSEP) were 0.99 and 0.93%, respectively. This result indicates that the PLSR calibration model by using NIR transmittance spectroscopy could be used for discrimination of watercore in apple fruit.

데이터 전송을 위한 최적 FIR 필터 설계 (Design of Optimal FIR Filters for Data Transmission)

  • 제한된 주파수 대역폭을 이용하여 신호를 전송하기 위해서는 여러종류의 특성을 갖는 필터들이 필요하다. 이 논문에서는 이러한 필터들을 효율적으로 설계하기위한 두가지 방식을 제시하였다. 특히 fractionally-spaced(FS) 구조가 사용될때 더욱 효율적으로 필터를 설계할 수 있다. FS 구조의 특성을 최소자승 오차 방식과 결합하여, 출력오차에 영향을 주지않고, 적절한 주파수 특성을 갖는 SF 필터 설계 방식을 제시하였다. 예로, noise 신호들을 적절히 이용하면, 한개의 SF 필터가, QAM 복조에 필요한 phase splitter, 수신 필터 그리고 등화기 기능까지 갖도록 설계할 수 있다. 두번째로 임의의 주파수 특성이 요구되는 필터의 설계 방식을 제시하였다. weighting factor를 이용한 최소자숭법을 iterative하게 사용하여 최적설계를 얻는다. 이를위해 weighting factor를 효율적으로 update하기 위한 새로운 알고리듬을 이용하였다. 마지막으로, 더욱 복잡한 조건을 갖는 필터를, 이 두가지 방식을 같이 이용하여, 효율적으로 설계할 수 있는것을 보였다.

Evolutionary Data Granulation 기반으로한 퍼지 집합 다항식 뉴럴 네트워크에 관한 연구 (A Study on Fuzzy Set-based Polynomial Neural Networks Based on Evolutionary Data Granulation)

  • In this paper, we introduce a new Fuzzy Polynomial Neural Networks (FPNNS)-like structure whose neuron is based on the Fuzzy Set-based Fuzzy Inference System (FS-FIS) and is different from that of FPNNS based on the Fuzzy relation-based Fuzzy Inference System (FR-FIS) and discuss the ability of the new FPNNS-like structure named Fuzzy Set-based Polynomial Neural Networks (FSPNN). The premise parts of their fuzzy rules are not identical, while the consequent parts of the both Networks (such as FPNN and FSPNN) are identical. This difference results from the angle of a viewpoint of partition of input space of system. In other word, from a point of view of FS-FIS, the input variables are mutually independent under input space of system, while from a viewpoint of FR-FIS they are related each other. The proposed design procedure for networks architecture involves the selection of appropriate nodes with specific local characteristics such as the number of input variables, the order of the polynomial that is constant, linear, quadratic, or modified quadratic functions being viewed as the consequent part of fuzzy rules, and a collection of the specific subset of input variables. On the parameter optimization phase, we adopt Information Granulation (IC) based on HCM clustering algorithm and a standard least square method-based learning. Through the consecutive process of such structural and parametric optimization, an optimized and flexible fuzzy neural network is generated in a dynamic fashion. To evaluate the performance of the genetically optimized FSPNN (gFSPNN), the model is experimented with using the time series dataset of gas furnace process.

낙동강 하구의 염수운동 (Saline Water Movement In The Estuary Of The Nakdong River)

  • 우리나라 남동부의 광범한 유역을 따라 흐르는 낙동강은 국내에서 가장 긴 하천의 하나로서 영남지역을 굽이쳐 흐르다가 부산 앞바다를 통하여 대한해협에 유입한다. 이 강의 하구는 유역주민의 생활 및 산업용수원으로서 중요할 뿐만 아니라 최근에는 산업입지 및 자연환경 보전문제로서 논의의 대상이 되고 있다. 낙동강은 하구로부터 약 40km상류까지 상향류를 보이며, 약 60km상류까지 조석의 영향을 받는 감조하천으로서 (유 장 1979), 하구역에는 해수, 하천의 담수 및 양자의 혼합수가 조석의 간만등 여러 가지 요인에 따라 유출되기도 하고 유입되기도 한다.

Effect of Meteorological Element on Growth and Yield of Sesame

  • This study was conducted to investigate the relationships between yearly variations of climatic elements and yearly variations of productivity in sesame. In addition, correlation coefficients among yield and yield components were estimated. The data of yield and yield components were investigated for 10 years from 1992 to 2001. The meteorological data gathered at the Yeosu Weather Station for the same period were used to find out the relationships between climatic elements and productivity. Yearly variation of the amount of precipitation in July and September were large with coefficients of variation(c.v.) of 64.59, 92.47%, respectively, but the variation of the average temperature in June and August were relative small. Yield and plant height greatly with c. v. of 26.24, 23.41 %, respectively, 1, 000 grain weights show more or less c.v. of 3.83% and length capsule setting show still less variation. Correlation coefficients between maximun temperature in period of cultivation(from June to September) and yield are positively significant at the level of 5.1 %, respectively. Correlation coefficients amount the plant height, length capsule setting, number of capsules per plant, weight of 1, 000 grains and seed yield were positively significant at the level of 1 %, respectively. Simple linear regression equations by the least square method are estimated for number of capsules per plant(Y$_1$) and the maximun temperature in August(X) as $Y_1$=10.1255+0.1725X, and for yield(Y$_2$) and the maximun temperature in August(X) as $Y_2$=21.6151 + 1.3724X.

중-노년층 여성의 실버타운 개발유형에 대한 태도분석 (Attitudes of the Middle and Old Age about Types of Silver Town)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the attitude of the middle and old age about the elderly housing and the planning elements according to the types of silver town. For this study, a pre-interview and a survey method were used for data collection. A questionnaire survey of 372 women over 45 years old was carried out. Among the data, 321 cases were analyzed by SPSS for Windows V12.0. The major findings were as follows: 1) Regarding the elderly housing, While the couple cohabitation type preferred the existing housing and the general housing, the single habitation type preferred the apartment and silver town. Some people wanted silver town occupancy due to the decrease of children support burden, the other did not want it due to economical burden and the absence of homelike affection. When they move into silver town, they wanted to take money, clothes, and photo album. 2) In silver town development, while the couple cohabitation type preferred the apartment, independent house, the single type preferred the apartment, housing complex and group-home. The unit housing sizes of them were around 82.6 and 49.6 square meters respectively. In the space composition of unit housing, while the couple cohabitation type preferred bath room, kitchen, living room and two of bed room, the single type preferred one of bed room and bath room at least. On the other hand, this study found out that it was possible to plan the space for eating and washing as the common space. 3) According to single or couple, and ages, there were significant differences in preferred spatial planning elements, which needs to be reflected in the silver town development. These results can provide improvement guidelines for the development of the silver town with the differentiation of design factors for the silver town planners.

공간지리 가중회귀모형(GWR)을 이용한 유역 녹지비율과 하천수질의 비균질적 관계 검증 (Testing Non-Stationary Relationship between the Proportion of Green Areas in Watersheds and Water Quality using Geographically Weighted Regression Model)

  • 본 연구는 낙동강 대권역에서 공간지리 가중회귀모형을 이용하여 녹지지역과 BOD, TN, TP를 포함하는 수질과의 지역적 비균질적 관계를 검증하고자 수행되었다. 대부분 기존의 상관분석 혹은 회귀분석은 OLS (Ordinary Least Square)기법에 기초한 균질적 관계의 분석에 초점을 두어 왔다. 이러한 녹지지역과 수질의 균질적 관계에 기초한 분석은 지역적으로 변화를 고려하지 않는 단점이 있다. 연구대상지는 낙동강 대권역내 146개 지점이며, 수질자료와 토지피복 자료는 환경부 자료를 활용하였다. BOD, TN, TP에 대하여 일반 회귀모형과 모델과 GWR 모델을 추정하여 비교하였다. 비교결과, BOD와 TN의 GWR 모델이 OLS 모델에 비하여 우수한 것으로 나타났다. GWR 모델의 $R^2$와 녹지지역의 계수 값의 기초통계량을 분석한 결과, 지역적으로 큰 변동이 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 유역 토지이용과 수질과의 관계가 공간적으로 비균절적이라는 것을 입증하여 주었다.

위성 탑재용 궤도전파기의 자동 갱신에 관한 연구 (A Study on Autonomous Update of Onboard Orbit Propagator)

  • 본 논문에서는 위성 탑재용 궤도전파기의 자동 갱신 방안에 대하여 제안하였다. 위성 탑재용 궤도전파기는 비상시 위성 항법 장치의 대체 수단으로써 여러 이유로 지상국에 의한 갱신이 불가능할 경우에 대비하여 위성체 스스로 가장 최신의 탑재 궤도전파기 모델을 유지해야 한다. 이를 위해 GPS 수신기의 고장 시점까지 가용한 GPS 항행해나 탑재 궤도 결정 시스템으로부터의 자료를 이용하여 최소자승회귀법(Least Square Curve Fit)이나 칼만 필터를 통해 위성에 탑재된 궤도전파기를 위한 기준궤도 또는 잔차 재생함수의 계수를 반복적으로 갱신한다. 탑재 궤도전파기 갱신을 통해 만약 있을 수도 있는 지상국에서의 계산 오류를 스스로 보정할 수 있고, GPS와 탑재 궤도결정 시스템의 작동 불능 시점 직전까지의 자료에 근거하여 궤도를 예측하기 때문에 항상 최신의 궤도전파기 모델을 유지할 수 있다. 또한 아리랑 1호의 궤도 예측 자료를 이용하여 실제 운용시 최적화된 알고리즘을 통해 실시간 갱신을 이용한 궤도 전파 성능에 대하여 살펴보았다.

초분광 반사광 영상을 이용한 무(Raphanus sativus L) 종자의 발아와 불발아 비파괴 판별 (Nondestructive Classification of Viable and Non-viable Radish (Raphanus sativus L) Seeds using Hyperspectral Reflectance Imaging)

  • Purpose: Nondestructive evaluation of seed viability is a highly demanded technique in the seed industry. In this study, hyperspectral imaging system was used for discrimination of viable and non-viable radish seeds. Method: The spectral data with the range from 400 to 1000 nm measured by hyperspectral reflectance imaging system were used. A calibration and a test models were developed by partial least square discrimination analysis (PLS-DA) for classification of viable and non-viable radish seeds. Either each data set of visible (400~750 nm) and NIR (750~1000 nm) spectra and the spectra of the combined spectral ranges were used for developing models. Results: The discrimination accuracy of calibration was 84% for visible range and 76.3% for NIR range. The discrimination accuracy of test was 84.2% for visible range and 75.8% for NIR range. The discrimination accuracies of calibration and test with full range were 92.2% and 92.5%, respectively. The resultant images based on the optimal PLS-DA model showed high performance for the discrimination of the nonviable seeds from the viable seeds with the accuracy of 95%. Conclusions: The results showed that hyperspectral reflectance imaging has good potential for discriminating nonviable radish seeds from massive amounts of viable seeds.
