  • Study of human-robot Interaction gets more and more attention to expand the robot application for tasks difficult by robot alone. Developed countries are preparing for a new market by introducing the concept of 'Co-Robot' model of human-robot Interaction. Our research of direct teaching is a way to instruct robot's trajectory by human's handling of its end device. This method is more intuitive than other existing methods. The benefit of this approach includes easy and fast teaching even by non-professional workers. And it can enhance utilization of robots in small and medium-sized enterprises for small quantity batch production. In this study, we developed the algorithms for creating accurate trajectory from repeated inaccurate direct teaching and GUI for the direct teaching. We also propose the basic framework for direct teaching.

  • In recent years, digital media providing entertainment and information have become an important channel of customer experience. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effects of digital signage's characteristics on flow and brand attitudes and to verify the mediating role of pleasure in digital signage and flow. The stimuli were developed for a sports brand stores using 3D and video editing software. The survey was conducted on 544 subjects from both gender aged 20 to 49 years old, i.e. the population that constitutes the major target group for sports brands. The data collected was analyzed using IBM SPSS 24.0. Specifically, frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, and regression analysis were performed on the data. Based on the results, we can draw the following conclusions; First, the dimension of digital signage was classified into aesthetic and functional attributes. Additionally, we found out that women highly value aesthetic attributes of digital signage while the customers in their 40s pay more attention to functional attributes than their counterparts aged 20-30 years. Second, our results suggest that pleasure has a mediating effect in the relationship between digital signage attributes and flow; specifically, both sub-dimensions of digital signage features (aesthetic attributes and functional attributes) affect flow by means of pleasure. Third, our results demonstrated that the flow of digital signage had a significant impact on brand attitudes.

  • Survey on the rural living indicators was the statistic approved from National Statistical Office and the survey executed by rural resources development institute. This study was used the raw data of survey on the rural living indicators in 2005. After editing procedure for raw data, we were studied 1,582 households which is acquired through elimination of case included nonresponses, and imputed a nonresponses of 15 item selected from 146 item. The imputation methods and efficiency of imputation for simulation was adapted differently from type of data. For continuous data, we imputed the nonresponses with mean imputation, regression imputation, adjusted grey-based k-NN imputation(DU, DW, WU, WW) and compared the results with RMSE. For categorical data, we imputed the nonresponses with mode method, probability imputation, conditional mode method, conditional probability method, hot-deck imputation, and compared the results with Accuracy. By the results, regression imputation and adjusted grey-based k-NN imputation appropriated for continuous data and hot-deck imputation appropriated for categorical data.

  • Lately, digital restitution was became common using digital aerial photos. Therefore, we can obtain three-dimensional data. As a plotting-maker is checked by naked eye, plotting original data is very useful for making reliable three-dimensional data including contour and elevation point layers. In this study, we want to make precise and accurate digital elevation model using plotting original data. Contour and elevation point layers was extracted in digital map and break line was extracted in plotting original data. And then, compared both of results. For comparison, we selected slight slope and complex topography area like a residence area, mountain and agricultural land. We extracted break line deleting layer until obtaining ideal digital elevation model. As the results, We could extract contour, elevation points, eight road and two boundary layers using break lines. And We could obtain precise elevation model. Editing break lines, the distortion of digital elevation model could be minimized in the complex and sharp slope area.

  • Timelapse is an imaging technique that captures motion at regular intervals and then projects it at normal speed. We looked at Timelapse advertising images of global brands and presented a model for analyzing components and expression methods of Timelapse, a new image technique. In previous research, literature research, Internet data survey, and YouTube data were investigated. Continuous photography has been developed as an imaging technique, and we have examined the current production status applied to domestic and foreign documentary, domestic and foreign drama, film, and advertisement. In 2015-2016, I will analyze the techniques of iPhones (2016), Ralph Lauren Polo Ads (2015), and Canon EOS (2013) videos that use Timelapse techniques in their recent advertisements. The results show that the Timelapse component is a static element, the static motif is mainly an artificial structure, the place is outdoor, the color is taken at a time showing the characteristics of the place, and the layout is all centered. The dynamic motif is a moving object. The dynamic line consists of a story based on the object. The time is about 11-15 seconds, the longest is about 1 minute and 30 seconds, and the editing is mainly focused on the product with the brand logo emphasized. In conclusion, it is the role of the image to pay attention to the advertisement and catch the eye. In order to motivate the buyer's mind, it is necessary to direct and edit such as Timelapse, which stimulates the emotions inherent in the mind and stimulates the non-verbal symbols. Future research is likely to reveal various attempts at temporal editing of images.

  • The Korean peninsula has been known to be very difficult to acquire clean MT and GDS data due to its highly industrialization and civilization. In this environment, a pre-screening step selecting data segments with a proper S/N ration is an essential one. This study modified the automatic pre-screening step based on the spectral power of electromagnetic field (RMP) taking account of the situation of the Korean Peninsula. The modified RMP technique was applied to MT data measured at seven sites located in middle part of the peninsula. In the whole sense, the RMP technique considerably improved the connectivity of apparent resistivity and phase curves around the period of 10 sec. In addition, the results processed by the RMP technique showed a very little difference with those derived from manual editing, and the superior performance of it is found especially in the connectivity of apparent resistivity curve.

  • Captured human motion data has been widely utilized for understanding the mechanism of human motion and synthesizing the animation of virtual characters. Searching for desired motions from given motion data is an important prerequisite of analyzing and editing those selected motions. This paper presents a new method of content-based motion retrieval without the need of additional metadata such as keywords. While existing search methods have focused on skeletal configurations of body pose or planar trajectories of locomotion, our method receives a three-dimensional trajectory as its input query and retrieves a set of motion intervals in which the trajectories of body parts such as hands, foods, and pelvis are similar to the input trajectory. In order to allow the user to intuitively sketch spatial trajectories, we used the Leap Motion controller that can precisely trace finger movements as the input device for our experiments. We have evaluated the effectiveness of our approach by conducting a user study in which the users search for dozens of pre-selected motions from baseketball motion data including a variety of moves such as dribbling and shooting.
