  • The popularization of IEEE1394(firewire) configuration in Desktop PC have done much to popularize Non-Linear video editing. DVD has been taking the lead in an age as the movie storage medium which represents a recent decade the place because of decreasing in cost of DVD-RW. But, it is the actual condition which has been had any research data about the process which produces the high quality movie of DVD to most ordinary people. Taking into account to capture the image with Avid Xpress DV and Adobe Premiere Pro which are representative video editing softwares in Desktop PC in general, we would like to close by proposing that DVD Authoring Process is available to keep high quality image in Desktop PC by the using of comparison and analysis of the image quality and export data which are able to be happened to the procedure of digitalization of video Authoring using of Adobe Encore.

XSLT document editing for XML document conversion in WYSIWYG environment (WYSIWYG 환경에서 XML 문서 변환을 위한 XSLT 문서편집 시스템)

  • XML been using extensively by standard of data exchanging in the Internet is observed by a technology to replace existent document creation language of HTML etc. Biggest characteristic of this XML is that logic information and physical information that express style of document that do that express structural substance of document were detached. Hereupon, W3C advised XSL that oner style function of form similar to HTML for XML's style and data conversion. Also, XSL's conversion function offers function that change XML document to other data format, and can describe style information through conversion of various document format. But, a XML document conversion technology that use XSLT know-how in domestic is unprepared real condition, and necessity about solution that can edit XSLT document efficiently is putting. This paper does XML document so that conversion and output are available in various document format. And offered research of XSLT document editing system that can edit and create XSLT document efficiently under WYSIWYG environment.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop rail rockfall and landslide information system to manage spatial database using GIS. For this, a spatial database containing information such as railroad, map, topographic analysis, meteorological data, and rockfall has been constructed for 2.5 km or 5 km buffer zone from the Kyungchun, Youngdong, Jungang, Taebak and Jungsun Rairoad where risk of landslide occurrence potential is high. For management of the spatial database, railroad rockfall and landslide information system has been developed. The information system consists of view, table, chart, layout and project environment. The functions provided in the system are data conversion, editing, labeling, zoom in and out, map making, graphic editing, text DB management, charting, on-line help as well as input, retrieve and output of spatial database. The system was developed using ArcView script language Avenue, and consisted of pull-down menus and icons for easy use. The spatial database and the information system can be used to rockfall and landslide management and analysis near the railroad as basic data and tool.

  • With the advance in digital technologies and the increasing prevalence of high quality multimedia contents, there is a growing user demand for multimedia devices, such as mobile phones, digital TV, PMP, digital camcoders, digital cameras. Such devices provide various services associated with multimedia file manipulation, including multimedia contents playback, multimedia file editing, etc. Conventional file systems exhibit a performance-related drawback that requires considerable amount of time and disk I/Os in order to store large-sized edited multimedia files. This paper proposes a fast, efficient writing technique for large-sized edited multimedia files by using data block sharing with adjustment of inode block pointers. Our experiments show that the proposed scheme not only improves write performance of the Ext3 file system on average by 16 times with various types of edited multimedia files, but also reduces consumed disk space dramatically through the data block sharing.

  • The number of civil aviation aircraft registered in Korea has continuously increased. Accordingly the accidents accompanying loss of human or economic resources occurred repeatedly. But the analysis of flight data recorded in FDR was not done by ourselves in the accident investigation because of lack of analysis technology. Therefore, this study is performed to secure the safety of civil aviation by establishing systematic analysis ability of Flight Data Recorder. Through this study, download flight data to personal computer, editing interface file to convert from binary data to engineering data, three dimensional graphical analysis and numerical analysis are performed. For the analysis, the flight of B747-400 model aircraft between Narita(Japan) and Gimpo(Korea) was selected.

  • This study is performed to secure the safety of civil aviation by establishing systematic analysis ability of Flight Data Recorder. Through this study, downloading SSFDR(Solid State Flight Data Recorder) to personal computer, editing interface file, flight data numerical analysis and regulations relayed to the aircraft with changes in destination airport in flight are performed. In the analysis, the flight data of B747-400 model aircraft between Los Angeles(KLAX) and Jeju(RKPC) was selected.

  • We developed the BaSDAS (Barcode-Seq Data Analysis System), a GUI-based pooled knockout screening data analysis system, to facilitate the analysis of pooled knockout screen data easily and effectively by researchers with limited bioinformatics skills. The BaSDAS supports the analysis of various pooled screening libraries, including yeast, human, and mouse libraries, and provides many useful statistical and visualization functions with a user-friendly web interface for convenience. We expect that BaSDAS will be a useful tool for the analysis of genome-wide screening data and will support the development of novel drugs based on functional genomics information.

  • In order to conform to the needs of effective program production in multimedia era, we are studying Desk Top Program Production system. With the DTPP, users can easily produce multimedia program including video, sound, and ancillary data, and freely handle video images synthesizing video components retrieved from video database. This paper describes the new program production system, DTPP and its key technologies such as cooperative program production via multimedia network, indexing and utilization of attribute information of images, and image segmentation and spatio-temporal editing.

  • 본 논문에서는 광학식 모션 캡쳐를 이용하여 얻은 한국인의 발레 동작에 대한 모션 캡쳐 데이터를 사용하여 다른 모션으로 변형함으로써 새로운 형태의 동작을 생성하거나 원래 데이터의 에러가 생긴 경우에 보정이 쉽게 수정 가능하도록 하였다. 즉, 모션 캡쳐 데이터의 구조는 다양한 포맷들로 되어 있는 스켈레톤 구조로서 관절의 각도나 위치에 대해 변형을 가하기 힘들다. 그러므로 모션 수정에 관련된 기술을 이용하여 선택된 조인트(joint), 엔드이펙터(end effecter), 마커(marker)들을 보여주고, 오일러(Euler Angles), 쿼터니언(Quaternions), 지수 맵(Exponential Map) 보간이 가능하여 실시간에서도 재생 되도록 구현하였다.

  • This paper describes the implementation of a 3 channel ECG monitoring system. This system consists of an IBM-PC and simple accessory only. A PDTS (parallel data transmission system ) was designed to do monitor the data being operated with no effect and no exchange of software and hardware on the main transmission system in LOCAL mode. And it receives patient's ECG data from EPTS ( ECG processing and transmission system) of distant region. It provides on-line ECG waveform display, waveform storage, recall and editing the waveform. We have implemented the monitoring system by tw methods, and with system, we could directly monitor the EPTS and also receive the data from the remote ㅁe잉ion. This system was tested by experiments and examined its practical use.
