LabView를 이용한 자동유량제어 시스템의 개발 (Development of automatic flow control system based on LabView)

  • A flow control system was designed and fabricated to control the flow rate of liquid through the pipe. This control system was composed of hardwares and software, hardwares as controller, gate valve, orifice meter and data aquisition board and software as National instruments Labview program. Control of flow rate was executed by adjusting the pneumatic valve located at the center of pipe line based on the control signal generated by LabView PID control algorithm, which converts analog signal measured by pressure difference of orifice to digital signal to adjust pneumatic valve. For the controller setup Ziegler-Nichols tuning technique was applied and control performances were investigated for not only the disturbance but also the set point changes. Developed system showed good control performances in flow control enough to use as teaching tool of feedback control theory and practice in university, and also as industrial application.

  • Controlling of thermal environment and flow in nanoimprint process chamber is important to ensure high precision levels of products. The purpose of this paper is to build optimal nanoimprint process environment. Because of this, Optimum PI control parameter for precise temperature control has been examined. Also porous medium of ventilation system is simulated for uniform flow in the equipment chamber. The porous medium consists of mesh structure, and is installed to place which flow the influx of the air flows. PID control parameter is based on the data obtained by experiment. And then heating and cooling method which simultaneously operated was used for decreasing an error. In conclude temperature in the equipment chamber was able to control precisely in the range of ${\pm}0.1^{\circ}C$ by the PID control parameter and Deadband.

  • 본 논문에서는 하나의 FPGA 내에 DC 모터 제어와 TFT LCD 인터페이스가 내장되어, 제어와 결과 데이터의 실시간 분석이 용이하고 컴팩트한 전(full)-FPGA 기반 모터 제어 시스템을 보인다. PID 속도 제어 모듈과 TFT LCD 상에 실험 결과를 실시간 보여주기 위한 모니터링 모듈을 하나의 FPGA내에 설계하고, 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통하여 유용성을 보인다. FPGA로는 xc3s400를 사용하였고, AD (Aaltium Designer)를 이용하여 전체 시스템을 설계하였다. DC 모터 4상한 운전을 위해 MOSFET를 이용한 PWM 모터 드라이버를 제작하였다.

  • In recent years, robots have been utilized in various industries to reduce workload and enhance work efficiency. The following mobility offers users convenience by autonomously tracking specific locations and targets without the need for additional equipment such as forklifts or carts. In this paper, deep learning techniques were employed to recognize individuals and assign each of them a unique identifier to enable the recognition of a specific person even among multiple individuals. To achieve this, the distance and angle between the robot and the targeted individual are transmitted to respective controllers. Furthermore, this study explored the control methodology for mobility that tracks a specific person, utilizing Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) and Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) control techniques. In the PID control method, a genetic algorithm is employed to extract the optimal gain value, subsequently evaluating PID performance through simulation. The SLAM method involves generating a map by synchronizing data from a 2D LiDAR and a depth camera using Real-Time Appearance-Based Mapping (RTAB-MAP). Experiments are conducted to compare and analyze the performance of the two control methods, visualizing the paths of both the human and the following mobility.

  • Since a gas turbine is still a significant contributor to peak time, it is very important to tune the gains of P. I. D to get a maximum power and stability within permissible limits. In the gas turbine, the main control loop must adjust the fuel flow to ensure the correct output power and frequency. but it is not easy, because the control loop is composed of many subsystems. In this paper we acquire a transfer function based on the operations data of Gun-san gas turbine and study to apply a loop compensation type 2-DOF PID controller tuning by neural-network to control loop of gas turbine to reduce phenomena caused by integral and derivative actions through simulation. We obtained satisfactory results to disturbances of subcontrol loop such as, fuel flow, air flow, turbine extraction temperature.

함정용 가스터빈 엔진의 속도 추종제어를 위한 DS 기반의 PID 제어기 설계 (PID controller design based on direct synthesis for set point speed control of gas turbine engine in warships)

  • Gas turbine engines are widely used as prime movers of generator and propulsion system in warships. This study addresses the problem of designing a DS-based PID controller for speed control of the LM-2500 gas turbine engine used for propulsion in warships. To this end, we first derive a dynamic model of the LM-2500 using actual sea trail data. Next, the PRC (process reaction curve) method is used to approximate the first-order plus time delay (FOPTD) model, and the DS-based PID controller design technique is proposed according to approximation of the time delay term. The proposed controller conducts set-point tracking simulation using MATLAB (2016b), and evaluates and compares the performance index with the existing control methods. As a result of simulation at each operating point, the proposed controller showed the smallest in %OS, which means that the rpm does not change rapidly. In addition, IAE and IAC were also the smallest, showing the best result in error performance and controller effort.

  • A nonlinear process-model based control for main steam temperature control of a 100MW oil-fired drum-type fossil power plant is delveloped and its performances are compared to those of the conventional PID control. The process model for simulation is derived based "first priciple approach" and is validated in steady and transient conditions. The model is in good agreements with the field test data. Performances of the nonlinear PMBC for main steam temperature control are far superior to those of PID in all aspects for the disturbances of ramp increase in load and step change in fuel Btu value.

  • This paper describes a 3-DOF attitude control of a small model helicopter in hover through explicit decoupling and adaptive control scheme. A model helicopter mounted on gimbal-stand is considered as a system that has 3 independent SISO systems representing motions about roll, pitch and yaw axis and these subsystems are identified from the test flight data. In this consideration, the contribution of others to yaw channel is neglected since it is relatively small. Two PID controllers based on Ziegler-Nichols method are designed for roll pitch channels independently. Also, adaptive fuzzy tuner is designed and applied to those PID controllers to cope with coupling effects between each channel and system uncertainties due to variation of engine RPM.   • The Mass Flow Controller(MFC) has become crucial in semiconductor manufacturing equipments. It is an important element because the quality and the yield of a semiconductor process are decided by the accurate flow control of gas. Therefore, the demand for the high speed and the highly accurate control of MFCs has been requested. It is hard to find an article of the control algorithm applied to MFCs. But, it is known that commercially available MFCs have PID control algorithms. Particularly, when the system detects the flow by way of heat transfer, MFC control problem contains the time delay and the nonlinearity. In this presentation, MFC control algorithm with the superior performance to the conventional PID algorithm is discussed and the superiority is demonstrated through the experiment. Fuzzy controller was utilized in order to compensate the nonlinearity and the time delay, and the performance is compared with that of a product currently available in the market. The control system, in this presentation, consists of a personal computer, the data acquisition board and the control algorithm carried out by LabWindows/CVI program on the PC. In addition, the method of estimating an actual flow from sensor output containing the time delay and the nonlinearity is presented. In conclusion, according to the result of the experiment, the proposed algorithm shows better accuracy and is faster than the conventional controller.

  • In this paper, Nonlinear VSS control based on bang-bang control concept is derived under the assumption that the control input is bounded. We try to derive control algorithm which has almost same performance as the time optimal control. We focus this control scheme on the real implementation of DC motor position controller of flexible link, i.e. we obtain the switching curves from the real data of DC motor system operating under the full maximum and minimum applied voltages. State space is separated into several regions and we set different switching surfaces in each region to reduce chattering problem. The efficiency of the proposed controller is compared with PID controller and it is shown that the controller converges fast than PID controller without chattering. The hybrid controller scheme is also proposed not only to control the position of hub but also to reduce the vibration of end tip of flexible link.
