This paper deals with the development of an intelligent CAD system for specifying the operation sequence in cold forging. Cold forging technology is facing with various new design requirements. Therefore, it is very important to develop a decision method for the operation sequence, with comparatively high adaptability to the new requirements. An intelligent CAD system which is the uncertain factors in human knowledge into consideration by applying fuzzy theory is established. Various actual design data about were organized, and these organized data were applied to the system as the case base. The system automatically generates the design data of operation sequence such as the forming method and the geometric data of products in each operation stage by the reasoning method applied the fuzzy pattern matching. By comparing the design results in the above system with the actual design data of a human expert, this paper presents that our method is useful for practical application.
Programmable logic controller (PLC) is widely used in manufacturing system or process control. This paper presents the design of a 32-bit microprocessor for a sequence control using an Application Specification Integrated Circuit (ASIC). The 32-bit microprocessor was designed by a VHDL with top down method; the program memory was separated from the data memory for high speed execution of 274 specified sequence instructions. Therefore it was possible that sequence instructions could be operated at the same time during the instruction fetch cycle. And in order to reduce the instruction decoding time and the interface time of the data memory interface, an instruction code size was implemented by 32-bits. And the real time debugging as single step run, break point run was implemented. Pulse instruction, step controller, master controllers, BIN and BCD type arithmetic instructions, barrel shit instructions were implemented for many used in PLC system. The designed microprocessor was synthesized by the S1L50000 series which contains 70,000 gates with 0.65um technology of SEIKO EPSON. Finally, the benchmark was performed to show that designed 32-bit microprocessor has better performance than Q4A PLC of Mitsubishi Corporation.
In this paper, I design the control chip that controls inner test sequence of Logic Tester to test chip. Logic tester has the thirteen inner instructions to control test sequence in test. And these instructions are saved in memory with test pattern data. Control chip generates address and control signal such as read, write signal of memory. Before testing, necessary data such as start address, end address, etc. are written to inner register of control chip. When test started, control chip receives the instruction in start address and executes, and generates address and control signals to access tester' inner memory. So whole test sequence is controlled by making the address and control signal in tester's inner memory. Control chip designs instruction's execution blocks, respectively. So if inner instruction is added from now on, a revision is easy. The control chip will be made using FPGA of Xilinx Co. in future.
We studied the bottom morphology and sedimentary environments of the Masan Bay using high-resolution Chirp seismic profiles and sediments data. According to deep-drilled core samples (up to 20 m thick) penetrated into the weathered rock basement, the sediments consist largely of three sediment types: the lower sandy gravel facies (Unit I) of 1-4 m in thickness, the middle sandy mud and/or muddy sand facies(Unit II) of 1-2 m thick and the upper mudfacies (Unit III) of over 10 m in thickness. The sedimentary column above the acoustic basement can be divided into two major sequences by a relatively strong mid-reflector, which show the lower sedimentary sequenc e(T) with parallel to subparallel internal reflectors and the upper sedimentary sequence(H) with free acoustic patterns. Acoustic basement, the lower sedimentary sequence (T), and the upper sequence (H) are well correlated with poorly sorted massive sandy gravels (Unit I), the sand/mud-mixed sediment (Unit II), and the muddy facies(Unit III), respectively. The acoustic facies and sediment data suggest that the Masan bay is one of the most typical semi-enclosed coastal embayments developed during the Holocene sea-level changes. The area of the Masan Bay reduced from about $19\;km^2$ in 1964 to about $13\;km^2$ in 2005 by reclamation, and its bottom morphology changed as a result of dredging of about $2{\times}10^7\;m^3$.
This paper proposes a method for fine-tuning BERT-based natural language processing models to perform sentiment analysis on Korean review data. By varying the input sequence length during this process and comparing the performance, we aim to explore the optimal performance according to the input sequence length. For this purpose, text review data collected from the clothing shopping platform M was utilized. Through web scraping, review data was collected. During the data preprocessing stage, positive and negative satisfaction scores were recalibrated to improve the accuracy of the analysis. Specifically, the GPT-4 API was used to reset the labels to reflect the actual sentiment of the review texts, and data imbalance issues were addressed by adjusting the data to 6:4 ratio. The reviews on the clothing shopping platform averaged about 12 tokens in length, and to provide the optimal model suitable for this, five BERT-based pre-trained models were used in the modeling stage, focusing on input sequence length and memory usage for performance comparison. The experimental results indicated that an input sequence length of 64 generally exhibited the most appropriate performance and memory usage. In particular, the KcELECTRA model showed optimal performance and memory usage at an input sequence length of 64, achieving higher than 92% accuracy and reliability in sentiment analysis of Korean review data. Furthermore, by utilizing BERTopic, we provide a Korean review sentiment analysis process that classifies new incoming review data by category and extracts sentiment scores for each category using the final constructed model.
After figuring out the function of an amino acid sequence, we can infer the function of the other amino acids that have similar sequence composition. Besides, it is possible that we alter protein whose function we know, into useful protein using genetic engineering method. In this process. an original protein amino sequence produces various protein sequences that have different sequence composition. Here, a systematic technique is needed to manage protein version sequences and reference data of those sequences. Thus, in this paper we proposed a technique of managing protein version sequences based on local sequence alignment and a technique of managing protein historical reference data using Trigger This method automatically determines the similarity between an original sequence and each version sequence while the protein version sequences are stored into database. When this technique is employed, the storage space that stores protein sequences is also reduced. After storing the historical information of protein and analyzing the change of protein sequence, we expect that a new useful protein and drug are able to be discovered based on analysis of version sequence.

As the same letter can be pronounced differently depending on word contexts, one should refer to a lexicon in order to pronounce a word correctly. Phonetic alphabets that lexicons adopt as well as pronunciations that lexicons describe for the same word can be different from lexicon to lexicon. In this paper, we use a sequence-to-sequence model that is widely used in deep learning research area in order to convert automatically from one pronunciation to another. The 12 seq2seq models are implemented based on pronunciation training data collected from 4 different lexicons. The exact accuracy of the models ranges from 74.5% to 89.6%. The aim of this study is the following two things. One is to comprehend a property of phonetic alphabets and pronunciations used in various lexicons. The other is to understand characteristics of seq2seq models by analyzing an error.

Forecasting dam inflow based on high reliability is required for efficient dam operation. In this study, deep learning technique, which is one of the data-driven methods and has been used in many fields of research, was manipulated to predict the dam inflow. The Long Short-Term Memory deep learning with Sequence-to-Sequence model (LSTM-s2s), which provides high performance in predicting time-series data, was applied for forecasting inflow of Soyang River dam. Various statistical metrics or evaluation indicators, including correlation coefficient (CC), Nash-Sutcliffe efficiency coefficient (NSE), percent bias (PBIAS), and error in peak value (PE), were used to evaluate the predictive performance of the model. The result of this study presented that the LSTM-s2s model showed high accuracy in the prediction of dam inflow and also provided good performance for runoff event based runoff prediction. It was found that the deep learning based approach could be used for efficient dam operation for water resource management during wet and dry seasons.
A tandemly repeated DNA sequence was identified and characterized y the combined RAPD and FISH data from a total genomic DNA of Welsh onion (Allium fistulosum). A clone containing this repeating sequence was selected and sequenced. This repeating unit of 314 bp inserted into pAf 072 contained 54.1% adenine and thymine residues, and showed the primer sequence used, 5'-GAAACGGGTG-3', in both terminals of the sequence. Fluorescence in situ hybridization using this tandemly repeated sequence as a probe indicated that the detected sites were coincident with the major C-banded constitutive heterochromatin in the terminal regions of both arms of all 6 chromosomes.
A video stream can be represented by a sequence of data points in a multidimensional space. In this paper, we introduce a trend vector that approximates values of data points in a sequence and represents the moving trend of points in the sequence, and present a pattern similarity matching method for data sequences using the trend vector. A sequence is partitioned into multiple segments, each of which is represented by a trend vector. The query processing is based on the comparison of these vectors instead of scanning data elements of entire sequences. Using the trend vector, our method is designed to filter out irrelevant sequences from a database and to find similar sequences with respect to a query. We have performed an extensive experiment on synthetic sequences as well as video streams. Experimental results show that the precision of our method is up to 2.1 times higher and the processing time is up to 45% reduced, compared with an existing method.
