  • As companies specialize, they use more modern applications, but they still rely on legacy systems and data access is limited by data silos. In this paper, we propose the Fabricator system, a design system for metadata based on Data Fabric that plays a key role in the data orchestration layer consisting of three layers: Sources Engine, Workload Builder, and Data Fabric Ingestion, thereby achieving meaningful integration of data and information. Provides useful insights to users through conversion. This allows businesses to efficiently access and utilize data, overcoming the limitations of legacy systems.

  • We devise data conversion methods and implement schema mapping and conversion system based on the study on research paper metadata characteristics analysis. Data conversion in unified form from databases of various systems is necessary for big data analysis. Legacy data conversion systems have drawbacks of syntax dependent problem and inconvenience for use. The implemented system, which is specialized system for research paper metadata, has easy schema mapping interface and can convert data with various syntax. In addition to that, Recompiling of the system is not necessary even if new schema which is not preregistered in the system comes in. We proved its usefulness by usability evaluation.

  • Companies have made an investment of cost and time to optimize processing of a new business model in a cloud environment, applying collaboration technology utilizing business processes in a social network. The collaborative processing method changed from traditional BPM to the cloud and a mobile cloud environment. We proposed a collaborative system for operating processes in social networks using MOXMDR-DAI+ (eXtended Metadata Registry-Data Access & Integration based multimedia ontology). The system operating cloud-based collaborative processes in application of MOXMDR-DAI+, which was suitable for data interoperation. MOXMDR-DAI+ applied to this system was an agent effectively supporting access and integration between multimedia content metadata schema and instance, which were necessary for data interoperation, of individual local system in the cloud environment, operating collaborative processes in the social network. In operating the social network-based collaborative processes, there occurred heterogeneousness such as schema structure and semantic collision due to queries in the processes and unit conversion between instances. It aimed to solve the occurrence of heterogeneousness in the process of metadata mapping using MOXMDR-DAI+ in the system. The system proposed in this study can visualize business processes. And it makes it easier to operate the collaboration process through mobile support. Real-time status monitoring of the operation process is possible through the dashboard, and it is possible to perform a collaborative process through expert search using a community in a social network environment.

  • Currently lots of studies to solve meta-data interoperability in between schema attributes are conducted. But the accuracy in previous schema mapping studies is low since the studies just use the similarity in between attributes. So the studies are not suitable for the schema mapping such as document conversion, system integration, etc. In this paper, we propose a method which can conduct the schema mapping interactively using frequent pattern mining. The method can conduct more accurate mapping process because the method use the description element which is an element among each schema element for the metadata standard. A performance study has been conducted to compare the accuracy performance of the method using metadata standards.
