  • The distributed system is playing a vital role in storing and processing big data and data generation is speedily increasing from various sources every second. Hadoop has a scalable, and efficient distributed system supporting commodity hardware by combining different networks in the topographical locality. Node support in the Hadoop cluster is rapidly increasing in different versions which are facing difficulty to manage clusters. Hadoop does not provide Node management, adding and deletion node futures. Node identification in a cluster completely depends on DHCP servers which managing IP addresses, hostname based on the physical address (MAC) address of each Node. There is a scope to the hacker to theft the data using IP or Hostname and creating a disturbance in a distributed system by adding a malicious node, assigning duplicate IP. This paper proposing novel node management for the distributed system using DNA hiding and generating a unique key using a unique physical address (MAC) of each node and hostname. The proposed mechanism is providing better node management for the Hadoop cluster providing adding and deletion node mechanism by using limited computations and providing better node security from hackers. The main target of this paper is to propose an algorithm to implement Node information hiding in DNA sequences to increase and provide security to the node from hackers.

  • With the popularization of digital devices in the era of the 4th industrial revolution and the increase in cyber crimes targeting them, the importance of securing digital data evidence is emerging. However, the difficulty in securing digital data evidence is due to the use of anti-forensic techniques that increase analysis time or make it impossible, such as manipulation, deletion, and obfuscation of digital data. Such anti-forensic is defined as a series of actions to damage and block evidence in terms of digital forensics, and is classified into data destruction, data encryption, data concealment, and data tampering as anti-forensic techniques. Therefore, in this study, anti-forensic techniques are categorized into data concealment and deletion (obfuscation and encryption), investigate and analyze recent research trends, and suggest future anti-forensic research directions.

  • As various features of the smartphone have been used, a lot of information have been stored in the smartphone, including the user's personal information. However, a frequent update of the operating system and applications may cause a loss of data and a risk of missing important personal data. Thus, the importance of data backup is significantly increasing. Many users employ the backup feature to store their data securely. However, in the point of forensic view these backup files are considered as important objects for investigation when issued hiding of smartphone or intentional deletion on data of smartphone. Therefore, in this paper we propose a scheme that analyze structure and restore data for Kies backup files of Samsung smartphone which has the highest share of the smartphone in the world. As the experimental results, the suggested scheme shows that the various types of files are analyzed and extracted from those backup files compared to other tools.
