Put your information in the object-based sensors and mobile networks has been developed that correlate with ubiquitous information technology as the development of IT technology. However, a security solution is to have the data stored in the server, what minimal conditions. In this paper, we propose a data management method is applied to a hash chain of the properties of the multiple techniques to the data used by the big user and the data services to ensure safe handling large amounts of data being provided in the big data services. Improves the safety of the data tied to the hash chain for the classification to classify the attributes of the data attribute information according to the type of data used for the big data services, functions and characteristics of the proposed method. Also, the distributed processing of big data by utilizing the access control information of the hash chain to connect the data attribute information to a geographically dispersed data easily accessible techniques are proposed.

Spatial data base system provides many query types and most of them are required frequent disk I/O and much CPU time. k-NN search is to find k-th closest object from the query point and up to now, several k-NN search methods have been proposed. Among these, MINMAX distance method has an aim not to access unnecessary node by adapting pruning technique. But this method accesses more disks than necessary while pruning unnecessary nodes. In this paper, we propose new k-NN search algorithm based on density of object. With this method, we predict the radius to be expected to contain k-NN objects using density of data set and search those objects within this radius and then adjust radius if failed. Experimental results show that this method outperforms the previous MINMAX distance method. This algorithm visit less disks than MINMAX method by the factor of maximum 22% and average 7%.

In this paper we propose a traffic aware Demand Wakeup MAC(TADW-MAC) protocol, in which low data delay and high throughput can be achieved, for wireless sensor networks. With the TADW-MAC protocol, the problem of the DW-MAC protocol, which schedules only one packet to deliver during the Sleep period in a multi-hop transmission is resolved. DW-MAC is not adequate for the applications such as object tracking and fire detection, in which busty data should be transmitted in a limited time when an event occurs [6-8]. When an event occurs, duty cycle can be adjusted in the TADW-MAC protocol to get less energy consumption and low latency. The duty cycle mechanism has been widely used to save energy consumption of sensor node due to idle listening in wireless sensor networks. But additional delay in packet transmission may be increased in the mechanism. Our simulation results show that TADW-MAC outperforms RMAC and DW-MAC in terms of energy efficiency while achieving low latency.
The Secure OS is an operating system which adds security functions to the existing operating system, in order to secure a system from sorority problems originated from inherent frailty of applications or operating systems. With the existing Secure Oses for it is difficult to set an effective security policy securing personal resources in a multi-user environment system. To solve this problem in this paper we present two Techniques to secure user data efficiently in the RBAC-based Secure OS for a multi-user environment. Firstly we utilizes object's owner information in addition to object's filename. Secondly we make use of meta symbol('$\ast$'), which is able to describe multiple access targets. In addition this paper gives some examples to show advantages from these techniques. And these features are implemented in an solaris-based Secure OS called Secusys.

On multimedia databases, in order to realize the fast access method, indexing methods for the multidimension data space are used. However, since it is a premise to use the Euclid distance as the distance measure, this method lacks in flexibility. On the other hand, there are metric indexing methods which require only to satisfy distance axiom. Since metric indexing methods can also apply for distance measures other than the Euclid distance, these methods have high flexibility. This paper proposes an improved method of VP-tree which is one of the metric indexing methods. VP-tree follows the node which suits the search range from a route node at searching. And distances between a query and all objects linked from the leaf node which finally arrived are computed, and it investigates whether each object is contained in the search range. However, search speed will become slow if the number of distance calculations in a leaf node increases. Therefore, we paid attention to the candidates selection method using the triangular inequality in a leaf node. As the improved methods, we propose a method to use the nearest neighbor object point for the query as the datum point of the triangular inequality. It becomes possible to make the search range smaller and to cut down the number of times of distance calculation by these improved methods. From evaluation experiments using 10,000 image data, it was found that our proposed method could cut 5%~12% of search time of the traditional method.

To meet the interoperability requirements associated with geospatial data access and geoprocessing, much efforts to design prototypical systems conforming to $OpenGIS^{TM}$ specification has been made. With respect to Object Web GIS, however, current internet mapping technology mainly focuses on either developing mapping libraries or client applications regardless of the future needs for interoperability such as an integration of $OpenGIS^{TM}$ standard for CORBA. In this paper, we propose an $OpenGIS^{TM}$ compliant mapping kernel. OpenViews, which is designed to meet those requirements. The kernel of OpenViews encapsulates the process of acquiring geospatial data in the format of $OpenGIS^{TM}$ Geometry through ORB(Object Request Broker). OpenViews, being designed based on well-known design patterns, is a highly extensible in that programmers can easily customize it on the object oriented architecture. The components implemented in OpenViews are CORBA/Java objects, and as such are portable and scalable in a networked environment. A companion package, OpenBroker, is also developed as a portable geoprocessing application server to facilitate the implementation and configuration of server side CORBA objects. It can be used for implementing objects for spatial analysis service which would be independent of legacy spatial database systems in many cases. OpenViews, together with OpenBroker, has been successfully prototyped using the technologies including EJB and servlet as the core components of an Open GIS compliant internet mapping.
Location based services based on positions of moving objects are expanding the business area gradually. The location is included all estimate position of the future as well as the position of the present and the past. Location based routing service is active business application in which the position information of moving objects is applied efficiently. This service includes the trajectory of past positions, the real-time tracing of present position of special moving objects, and the shortest and optimized paths combined with map information. In this paper, we describes the location based routing services is extend in distributed web GIS environment. Web GIS service systems provide the various GIS services of analyzing and displaying the spatial data with friendly user - interface. That is, we propose the efficient architecture and technologies for servicing the location based routing services in distributed web GIS environment. The position of moving objects is acquired by GPS (Global Positioning System) and converted the coordinate of real world by map matching with geometric information. We suppose the swapping method between main memory and storages to access the quite a number of moving objects. And, the result of location based routing services is wrapped the web-styled data format. We design the schema based on the GML. We design these services as components were developed in object-oriented computing environment, and provide the interoperability, language-independent, easy developing environment as well as re - usability.
Advances in information and communication technologies have been creating new classes of applications in the area of databases. For example, in moving object databases, which track positions of a lot of objects, or stream databases, which process data streams from a lot of sensors, data Processed in such database systems are usually changed very rapidly and continuously. However, traditional database systems have a problem in processing these rapidly and continuously changing data because they suppose that a data item stored in the database remains constant until It is explicitly modified. The problem becomes more serious in the R-tree, which is a typical index structure for multidimensional data, because modifying data in the R-tree can generate cascading node splits or merges. To process frequent updates more efficiently, we propose a novel update technique for the R-tree, which we call the leaf-update technique. If a new value of a data item lies within the leaf MBR that the data item belongs, the leaf-update technique changes the leaf node only, not whole of the tree. Using this leaf-update manner and the leaf-access hash table for direct access to leaf nodes, the proposed technique can reduce update cost greatly. In addition, the leaf-update technique can be adopted in diverse variants of the R-tree and various applications that use the R-tree since it is based on the R-tree and it guarantees the correctness of the R-tree. In this paper, we prove the effectiveness of the leaf-update techniques theoretically and present experimental results that show that our technique outperforms traditional one.
There are many technically difficult issues in searching multimedia data such as image, video and audio because they are massive and more complex than simple text-based data. As a method of searching multimedia data, a similarity retrieval has been studied to retrieve automatically basic features of multimedia data and to make a search among data with retrieved features because exact match is not adaptable to a matrix of features of multimedia. In this paper, data clustering and its indexing are proposed as a speedy similarity-retrieval method of multimedia data. This approach clusters similar images on adjacent disk cylinders and then builds Indexes to access the clusters. To minimize the search cost, the hashing is adapted to index cluster. In addition, to reduce I/O time, the proposed searching takes just one I/O to look up the location of the cluster containing similar object and one sequential file I/O to read in this cluster. The proposed schema solves the problem of multi-dimension by using clustering and its indexing and has higher search efficiency than the content-based image retrieval that uses only clustering or indexing structure.

Pub/sub system enables data users to access any necessary data without knowledge of the data producer and synchronization with the data producer. It is widely used as the middleware technology for the data-centric services. DDS (Data Distribution Service) is a standard middleware supported by the OMG (Object Management Group), one of global standardization organizations. It is considered quite useful as a standard middleware for US military services. However, it is well-known that it takes considerably long time in searching the Participants and Endpoints in the system, especially when the system is booting up. In this paper, we propose a discovery scheme to reduce the latency when the participants and Endpoints are densely distributed in a small area. We propose to modify the standard DDS discovery process in three folds. First, we integrate the Endpoint discovery process with the Participant discovery process. Second, we reduce the number of connections per participant during the discovery process by adopting the concept of successors in Distributed Hashing scheme. Third, instead of UDP, the participants are connected through TCP to exploit the reliable delivery feature of TCP. We evaluated the performance of our scheme by comparing with the standard DDS discovery process. The evaluation results show that our scheme achieves quite lower discovery latency in case that the Participants and the Endpoints are densely distributed in a local network.
