증기 및 여러 가지 건조방법으로 처리된 잣나무 변재의 섬유방향 액체투과율 비교 (Comparison of Longitudinal Liquid Permeability of Pinus koraiensis Sapwood Treated by Steaming and Various Drying Methods)

  • 두께 30 mm 잣나무 판재를 증기와 4가지 건조방법으로 처리하였다. 처리된 판재의 변재에서 시편을 떼어내어 Darcy 법칙을 이용한 간단한 방법으로 섬유방향 비투과율을 비교하였다. 잣나무 변재의 섬유방향 수분이동기작을 조사하기 위해 시편을 알코올과 아세톤 추출한 후에 비투과율을 또 측정하였다. 측정된 비투과율은 측정시간에 따라 급격히 감소하는 것이 관찰되었다. 이는 Darcy 법칙에 어긋나는 것으로 음압에 의해 공기방울이 발생하여 이동통로를 막기 때문으로 설명할 수 있다. 처리방법에 따라 미추출 시편의 평균 비투과율은 다르게 나타났으며 용매추출에 의한 비투과율 변화도 처리방법에 따라 달리 나타났다. 처리방법에 따라 수지구내 잔류수지의 성질이 달라지기 때문으로 생각된다. 수지구내 잔류수지 형상을 SEM 사진으로 관찰하였다.

  • The major objective of this study is to establish analytical technique in order to analyze the behaviour of semi-solid material considering induction heating of the billet. Induction heating process is analyzed by using commerical finite element software. ANSYS. The finite element program, SFAC2D, for the simulation of deformation in semi-solid state is developed in the present study. The semi-solid behaviour is described by a viscoplastic model for the solid phase, and by the Darcy's law for the liquid flow. Simple compression and closed-die compression process considering induction heating are analyzed, and also it is found that the distribution of initial solid fraction of the billet has an important effect on deformation behaviour of semi-solid material. In order to verify the effectiveness of proposed analytical technique the simulation result is compared with experimental result.

  • The objective of this study is to consider the induction heating process and to develop the finite element program to analyze the behaviour of semi-solid materials. The semi-solid material is assumed to be composed of solid region as rigid visco-plastic model and liquid region following Darcy's law. Induction heating process is analyzed using finite element software, ANSYS, and also the behaviour of a semi-solid material considering induction heating is analyzed using developed finite element program.

지하수 model에 관한 모형시험방법 (An Introduction to the Ground Water Model Test)

  • Ground water flow can be studied with model test. Model test of ground water works are necessary for economic and safe design of the works. Also influence of the ground water flow to the durability and safety of hydraulic structures can be studied with this model. a. Sand model ; Water flow through porous media is the principle of sand model. Darcy's formula is the basic equation, $q=k{\frac{dh}{ds}}^{\circ}. The effect of the ground water flow on the grain system itself is represented with this model only. b. Hele-Shaw model ; In this model use is made of the viscous flow analogy. Viscous fluid such as glycerine flowing through two parallel plates depends on Poiseuille law, $q=-c{\frac{dh}{ds}}$. The analogue can be used vertically and horizontally. c. Heat model ; This is based on the analogy of the Fourier's law for heat conduction and Darcy's law for ground water flow. Especially unsteady problem can be studied with this model. A difficulty of the construction of this model is the isolation, which has to prevent losses of the heat. d. Electirc model ; Ohm's law for electric current is analogous to Darcy's law. Resistance material such as metal foil, graphite block, water with salt added, gelatine with salt added, ete. is connected to electric sources and resistor, and equi-voltage line is detected with galvanometer, $N_aCl$, $CuSo_4$, etc. are used as salt in the model. e. Membrane model ; This model is based on the facts that the deflection of a thin membrane obeys Laplace's equation if there is no load in the direction perpendicular to the membrane, and if the dellection is small.

성토제 하부에 매설된 사석층의 침투특성 (Seepage Characteristics of Embedded Rock Layer Under the Earth Fill)

  • 해안매립 및 방조제 공사 시 바닥사석은 장비의 이동성 및 현장 시공성을 개선하기 위하여 포설된다. 그러나 공사완료 후 이러한 바닥사석층은 상부 구조물에 치명적인 침투피해의 원인으로 작용하나 이러한 바닥사석층에 대한 침투특성이 규명되지 않아 바닥사석층이 있는 구조물의 정확한 침투거동 파악이 곤란하다. 보통 사석층내의 침투는 Non-Darcy 흐름으로 알려져 있지만, 성토층 등 지중에 매설된 사석층 내의 침투는 Darcy 흐름 또는 Non-Darcy 흐름인지는 아직까지 명확히 파악되지 않고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 성토지반에 매설되어 있는 사석층의 침투특성을 파악하기 위하여 수치해석, 실내모형실험, 현장조사 등 다각적인 방법으로 접근하였다. 그 결과 성토지반내 사석층의 침투는 Darcy 흐름으로 가정하고 유도한 해석모형에 의해 계산한 침윤선과 실내모형에서 실측한 침윤선을 서로 비교한 결과 $95\%(\alpha=0.05)$ 신뢰구간에서 유의성이 있었으며, 실내모형실험에서 구한 유속에 대한 레이놀즈 수가 10미만의 층류이고, 유속과 동수경사가 비례관계로 나타났다. OO 방조제를 대상으로 바닥사석층까지 보링을 하고 측정한 투수계수와 동수경사로부터 계산한 Darcian 유속에 대해서는 레이놀즈 수가 $1\~6$ 범위의 층류로 나타났다. 이상의 결과로 보아 성토지반에 매설되어 있는 사석층내의 침투는 층류의 Darcy 흐름일 가능성이 높다고 판단된다.

  • Most models for the simulation of multi-phase flow and multi-species transport employ the capillary approach which uses the Darcy's law for the representation of mass flux of each phase. The capillary approach based on the Darcy's law require many empirical coefficients with complex functional dependencies rather than rigrous mathematical and physical formulation. The shortcoming of the capillary approach cause the numerical errors in the simulations by the multi-phase flow and transport models. This study discuss some of the problems related with the use of models.

투수층의 흐름을 고려한 투수성 구조물의 파랑변형에 관한 수치적 해석 (A Numerical Study of Wave Transformation on a Permeable Structure Considering Porous Media Flow)

  • In recent years, there's been strong demand for seawalls that havea gentle slope and permeability that serveswater affinity and disaster prevention from wave attack. The aim of this study is to examine wave transformation, including wave run-up that propagates on the coastal structures. A numerical model based on the weak nonlinear dispersive Boussinesq equation, together with the unsteady nonlinear Darcy law for fluid motion in permeable layer, is developed. The applicability of this numerical model is examined through Deguchi and Moriwaki's hydraulic model test on the permeable slopes. From this study, it is found that the proposed numerical model can predict wave transformation and run-up on the gentle slope with a permeable layer, but can't show accurate results for slopes steeper than about 1:10.

  • In this study, the effect of strain-rate and inital solid fraction on the deformation behaviour of semi-solid material is investigated, when semi-solid forging is performed by the process of closed-die compression using A356 alloy of which the above results can be practically applied for industrical purpose. In order to simulate densification in the deformation of semi-solid material, the semi-solid material is assumed to be composed of solid region following rigid visco-plastic material, the liquid region following Darcy's law for the liquid flow saturated in the interstitial space. Simulation results of closed-die compression and simple upsetting under different strain-rate and initial solid fraction are compared.

  • Numerical solutions of Stokes flow through periodic arrays of cylinders were sought using Darcy's law and homogenization theory. Drag and lift forces of each cylinder were computed for various attack angles and pitch-to-diameter ratios. It was found that drag force decreased as principal pressure gradient direction deviated from array direction and that drag force increased exponentially as pitch-to-diameter ratio approached unity. Similar tendency was found in lift force except that lift force increased and then decreased in quadratic manner as attack angle varied.

  • Polyester, polyacrylics, nylon과 cotton을 이용해 이들의 막지지천으로의 사용가능성을 조사하였다. 압축률, membrane embossing, 유량과 물리적$\cdot$화학적 특성 등을 고려한 결과 50 번수의 polyester가 막지지천으로 적당함을 알았다. 이 polyester를 막지지천으로 사용해 압력 강하, 조업압력, 점도 등이 막지지천을 통한 유체 흐름에 미치는 영향을 조사하였는데, 이 막지지천을 통한 유체 흐름은 Darcy's law를 만족시켰다.
