수동 센서의 오차 최소화를 이용한 실시간 DSC 자동초점 시스템 설계 (A Design of Real-time Automatic Focusing System for Digital Still Camera Using the Passive Sensor Error Minimization)

  • In this paper, the implementation of a new AF(Automatic Focusing) system for a digital still camera is introduced. The proposed system operates in real-time while adjusting focus after the measurement of distance to an object using a passive sensor, which is different from a typical method. In audition, measurement errors were minimized by using the data acquired empirically, and the optimal measuring time was obtained using EV(Exposure Value) which is calculated from CCD luminance signal. Moreover, this system adopted an auxiliary light source for focusing in absolute dark conditions, which is very hard for CCD image Processing. Since this is an open-loop system adjusting focus immediately after the distance measurement, it guarantees real-time operation. The performance of this new AF system was verified by comparing the focusing value curve obtained from AF experiment with the one from the measurement by MF(Manual-Focusing). In both case, edge detector was used for various objects and backgrounds.

전기방사를 이용한 Al이 첨가된 ZnO 나노섬유의 제조 및 광학 특성평가 (Optical properties of Al doped ZnO Nanofibers Prepared by electrospinning)

  • ZnO는 반도전성과 초전도성을 나타내며 광학적으로도 독특한 재료로 가스센서, 태양전지, 광학도파관 등 여러 방면에 널리 활용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 ZnO에 Al을 첨가함에 따라 광학적 특성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보기 위하여 ZnO에 Al 첨가량 변화에 따른 나노구조체를 제작하여 특성을 비교하였다. ZnO 용액은 PVP, ethanol, zinc acetate를 이용하여 Sol의 형태로 제작하였으며, Al첨가용액을 넣어 Al이 첨가된 ZnO Sol을 제작하였다. 제작된 Sol을 전기 방사법을 이용하여 나노구조체를 제조하였다. 제조된 섬유들을 각각 300, 500, $700^{\circ}C$로 열처리 한 후 나노 구조체를 XRD, XPS, SEM을 이용하여 분석하였다. 또한 TGA, DSC를 이용하여 온도변화에 따른 질량 및 열량의 변화를 측정하였다. UVvis를 이용하여 ZnO와 Al이 첨가된 ZnO의 흡광도를 측정 비교하였다.

열분석법에 의한 Mg-8.5Li-4.5Al합금의 시효거동 연구 (A Study on the Aging Behavior of a Mg-8.5Li-4.5Al alloy by Differential Scanning Calorimetry)

  • Precipitation and strengthening mechanisms in squeeze cast Mg-8.5wt%Li-4.5wt%Al have been investigated by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), in-situ and ex-situ X-ray diffraction analysis and hardness measurement. Special emphasis was placed on the investigation of the precipitation behavior by the DSC technique. Microstructural and calorimetric analysis showed that ${\theta}$ and ${\delta}$ precipitates in the b.c.c. ${\beta}$ phase matrix, forming two exothermic peaks at the temperature ranges of $130^{\circ}C{\sim}180^{\circ}C$ and $236^{\circ}C{\sim}280^{\circ}C$. ${\theta}$ and ${\delta}$ dissolve into the matrix forming an endothermic peak at the temperature range of $280^{\circ}C{\sim}352^{\circ}C$. The as-cast microstructure consists of ${\alpha}$, ${\beta}$ and ${\delta}$. Peak strength was obtained after aging for 1 hour at $50^{\circ}C$. The aging time required for the peak strength decreased as the aging temperature increases. The hardness decrease during overaging was due to the coarsening of ${\theta}$ precipitates. Microhardness measurement showed that variation of the hardness of ${\beta}$ matrix was more pronounced than that of the ${\alpha}$ phase, indicating that the ${\beta}$ phase is more responsible for the strengthening of the Mg-8.5wt%Li-4.5wt%Al alloy.

  • 라이신과 글루코오스에서부터 제조된 카프로락탐과 모폴리논을 음이온 개환중합법을 이용하여 나일론 6-모폴리논 랜덤 공중합체를 합성함으로써 바이오매스 기반의 새로운 나일론을 제조할 수 있었으며 또한 친수성이 향상된 나일론 6을 제조할 수 있었다. 중합 조건을 적절하게 조절함으로써, 점도평균분자량 30000 g/mol과 수율 80%의 공중합체를 제조할 수 있었다. 모폴리논을 공중합 단량체로 사용함으로써 나일론 6의 친수성을 높게 향상시킬 수 있었다. 제조된 나일론 6-모폴리논 랜덤공중합체를 시차주사 열량계(DSC), 열중량 분석기(TGA), X-선 회절분석기(XRD), 점도계, 접촉각 측정기와 같은 분석방법으로 그 특성을 분석하였다.

  • 최근 반도체 패키지 두께가 점점 얇아짐에 따라 휨(warpage) 문제가 대두되고 있다. 휨(warpage)은 패키지 구성요소들 간의 물성 차이로 인해 발생하기 때문에, 휨(warpage)을 예측하기 위해서는 주된 구성요소인 EMC(Epoxy molding compound)의 정확한 물성 파악이 필수적으로 요구된다. 특히 EMC는 경화 공정 중 경화 수축을 보이는데, 겔점 이후에 발생하는 유효 경화 수축은 휨(warpage) 발생의 핵심 요소이다. 본 연구에서는 유전 센서를 이용해 측정한 소실 계수로부터 실제 반도체 패키지 경화 공정 동안 발생하는 EMC의 겔점이 정의되었다. 유전 센서로부터 얻은 결과를 분석하기 위해 DSC(Differential scanning calorimetry) 시험과 rheometer 시험이 수행되었다. 그 결과, 유전 측정법이 EMC 경화상태 모니터링에 효과적인 방법임이 검증되었다. 유전 측정과 동시에 광섬유 센서를 이용해 EMC의 경화 공정 중 변형률 변화 추이가 함께 측정되었다. 위 결과들로부터 경화 공정 중 발생하는 EMC의 유효 경화 수축이 측정되었다.

열분해에 의한 카펫의 안정성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Stability of Carpet by Thermal Decomposition)

  • The accidents occurred by unstable material which is easily exploded or burnt up were caused by heat and collision under the condition of relatively low temperature without oxygen, have been reported frequently. However, the amount of the unstable material is getting higher by development of fine ceramic research area even though its dangerous characteristic is disregarded. This research studied a heat stability and measured boiling point of various carpet material. Carpet has been used in home as well as general indoor usage. Now a day, carpet material which is hardly burnt has been on commercial, but its detailed unstable conditions is not mentioned. This research reports the measurement of the initial temperature of generation heat and heat-radiation change on differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). The DSC data of nylon bulked continuous filament (N-BCF) yam 100%, nylon (NY), poly propylene (PP), and a new material named polytrimethylene terephthalate (PTT) are studied and researched about the effect of them using TGA, furnace, and direct-burning experiment.

PRAM 용 GST계 상변화 박막의 조성에 따른 특성 (Properties of GST Thin Films for PRAM with Composition)

  • PRAM (Phase change random access memory) is one of the most promising candidates for next generation Non-volatile Memories. The Phase change materials have been researched in the field of optical data storage media. Among the phase change materials. $Ge_2Sb_2Te_5$ is very well known for its high optical contrast in the state of amorphous and crystalline. However the characteristics required in solid state memory are quite different from optical ones. In this study. the structural Properties of GeSbTe thin films with composition were investigated for PRAM. The 100-nm thick $Ge_2Sb_2Te_5$ and $Sb_2Te_3$ films were deposited on $SiO_2/Si$ substrates by RF sputtering system. In order to characterize the crystal structure and morphology of these films. x-ray diffraction (XRD). atomic force microscopy (AFM), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and 4-point measurement analysis were performed. XRD and DSC analysis result of GST thin films indicated that the crystallization of $Se_2Sb_2Te_5$ films start at about $180^{\circ}C$ and $Sb_2Te_3$ films Start at about $125^{\circ}C$.

Fundamental study on development of latent heat storage material for waste heat recovery of biomass gasification

  • Recently, latent heat thermal energy storage system (LHTES) has gained attention in order to utilize middle temperature (373~573 K) waste heat from biomass gasification. This paper has investigated thermo-physical properties of erythritol [$CH_2OHCHOH$ $CHOHCH_2OH$], mannitol [$CH_2OH$ $(CHOH)_4CH_2OH$] and their compounds as phase change materials (PCMs). The differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) was applied to measure the melting point and latent heat of these PCMs. Also the melting and solidification characteristics of these PCMs were observed in a glass tube with a digital camera. In the DSC measurement, when the amount of mannitol content was more than 40 mass%, the melting point of these compounds show two melting points. The experimental results showed that the velocity of melting and solidification were different for every mixture ratio of compounds. These compounds had the super-cooling phenomenon during the solidification process.

발아 현미를 첨가한 백설기의 품질 특성 (Quality Characteristics of Backsulgi with Germinated Brown Rice Flour)

  • This study was performed to evaluate the physicochemical, sensory evaluation of Backsulgi changed with germinated brown rice flour(GBRF) at different ratio. Moisture content decreased gently during storage and the decrease was less in GBRF-added groups than the control group. The color L value decreased significantly by with increasing the GBRF, wherease the redness(a) and yellowness(b) were both increased. As the result of measurement with texture analyzer, hardness, gumminess, chewiness, adhesiveness and fracturability of Backsulgi tended to decrease in proportion to the amount of GBRF in the formula. The thermal properties of Backsulgi were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC). Onset temperature and peak temperature of gelatinizatino in thermal characteristics showed low in case of addition of GBRF into Backsulgi. All samples changed with GBRF had low values in change of melting enthalphy. In the sensory evaluation, Backsulgi with GBRF were superior in flavor, cohesiveness, hardness, chewiness and moistureness than that of control. And Backsulgi with 20% GBRF showed the highest score in overall acceptability. Therefore we concluded that the addition of GBRF on Backsulgi improve the sensory characteristics as well as delay the retrogradation.

Changes in Physicochemical Properties of Rice Starch Processed by Ultra-Fine Pulverization

  • The effects of ultra-fine pulverization on the physicochemical properties of rice starch (RS) were investigated using a high impact planetary mill. After pulverization, RVA characteristics, peak viscosity, break down, and set back values of RS decreased from 274.75 to 9.42 RVU, 214.46 to 6.17 RVU, and 87.80 to 17.00 RVU, respectively. The pasting properties also changed significantly. X-Ray diffractogram revealed RS had four A-type peaks, which disappeared after pulverization. The peak temperature and gelatinization enthalpy of RS using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) were 13.99 J/g at $75.14^{\circ}C$, whereas the pulverized RS (PRS) had two peaks, 0.13 J/g at $63.88^{\circ}C$ and 1.23 J/g at $101.24^{\circ}C$. DSC measurement showed the retrogradation degree of PRS was lower than that of RS after storage at 4 and $25^{\circ}C$. The enzymatic (${\alpha}$-amylase) digestibilities of RS and PRS were 72.7 and 77.3%, respectively.
