차화상으로부터 이차원 이동 벡터의 추출

  • In this paper, the four algorithm which obtain 2D displacement vector are proposed. In corwocutive difference pictures, the characteristics of up DP boundary and region are discussed and we estimate displacement vector using the DP boundary and region, Finally, the performance of proposed algorithm for gaussian noisy image which generated by computer are discussed.

Continuous Speech Recognition using Syntactic Analysis and One-Stage DMS/DP (구문 분석과 One-Stage DMS/DP를 이용한 연속음 인식)

  • This paper is a study on the recognition of continuous speech and uses a method of speech recognition using syntactic analysis and one-stage DMS/DP. In order to perform the speech recognition, first of all, we make DMS model by section division algorithm and let continuous speech data be recognized through One-stage DMS/DP method using syntactic analysis. Besides the speech recognition experiments of proposed method, we experiment the conventional one-stage DP method under the equivalent environment of data and conditions. From the recognition experiments, it is shown that Ole-stage DMS/DP using syntactic analysis is superior to conventional method.

  • In a SDH network, one of the most important issues is the realization of network synchronization. In this paper, we presented the relationship between parameters and control algorithm of DP-PLL for design in a SDH based time, SSM processing time, PJE counter and reference switching time, and analyzed phase transients for one node and mutiple nodes through our simulation results with a standard specification. We suggested suitable design method of SDH-DP-PLL.

Application of neuro-fuzzy algorithm to portable dynamic positioning control system for ships

  • This paper describes the nonlinear dynamic motion behavior of a ship equipped with a portable dynamic positioning (DP) control system, under external forces. The waves, current, wind, and drifting forces were considered in the calculations. A self-tuning controller based on a neuro-fuzzy algorithm was used to control the rotation speed of the outboard thrusters for the optimal adjustment of the ship position and heading and for path tracking. Time-domain simulations for ship motion with six degrees of freedom with the DP system were performed using the fourth-order RungeeKutta method. The results showed that the path and heading deviations were within acceptable ranges for the control method used. The portable DP system is a practical alternative for ships lacking professional DP facilities.

  • This paper analysis the Dynamic Time Warping algorithms for time normalization of speech pattern and discusses the Dynamic Programming algorithm for spoken Korean isolated digits recognition. In the DP matching, feature vectors of the reference and test pattern are consisted of first three formant frequencies extracted by power spectrum density estimation algorithm of the ARMA model. The major differences in the various DTW algorithms include the global path constrains, the local continuity constraints on the path, and the distance weighting/normalization used to give the overall minimum distance. The performance criterias to evaluate these DP algorithms are memory requirement, speed of implementation, and recognition accuracy.

  • As many sensors and actuators are used in automated systems, various industrial networks are adopted for digital control system. In order to take advantages of the networking, however, the network implementation should be carefully designed to satisfy real-time requirements considering network delays. This paper presents the implementation scheme of a networked control system via Profibus-DP network. More specifically, the effect of the network delay on the control performance was evaluated on a Profibus-DP testbed, and a GA-based PID tuning algorithm is proposed to design controllers suitable for networked control systems.

An auto weather-vaning system for a DP vessel that uses a nonlinear controller and a disturbance observer

  • An auto weather-vaning system for a Dynamic Positioning (DP) vessel is proposed. When a DP vessel is operating, its position keeping is hindered by ocean environmental disturbances which include the ocean current, wave and wind. Generally, most ocean vessels have a longitudinal length that is larger than the transverse width. The largest load acts on the DP vessel by ocean disturbances, when the disturbances are incoming in the transverse direction. Weather-vaning is the concept of making the heading angle of the DP vessel head toward (or sway from) the disturbance direction. This enables the DP vessel to not only perform marine operations stably and safely, but also to maintain its position with minimum control forces (surge & sway components). To implement auto weather-vaning, a nonlinear controller and a disturbance observer are used. The disturbance observer transforms a real plant to the nominal model without disturbance to enhance the control performance. And the nonlinear controller deals with the kinematic nonlinearity. The auto weather-vaning system is completed by adding a weather-vaning algorithm to disturbance based controller. Numerical simulations of a semi-submersible type vessel were performed for the validation. The results show that the proposed method enables a DP vessel to maintain its position with minimum control force.

Optimization-based Collision Avoidance Algorithm for Urban Air Mobility Through Dynamic Programming (동적 계획법을 통한 Urban Air Mobility 최적화 기반 충돌 회피 알고리즘)

  • In this study, we propose a collision avoidance algorithm for Urban Air Mobility (UAM). The proposed algorithm uses Dynamic Programming (DP) techniques to optimize trajectory planning and collision avoidance strategies. The algorithm includes a dynamic and adaptive framework that can effectively manage a variety of unpredictable urban airspace scenarios. Through a comprehensive analysis of the surrounding environment, the algorithm formulates collision avoidance decisions by considering the state of the aerial vehicle. By utilizing DP, the algorithm optimally balances the trade-off between minimizing collision risk and ensuring efficient path planning. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is tested in various urban environments through simulations. These tests demonstrate its ability to manage complex airspace scenarios. The results show a significant reduction in collision risk while maintaining acceptable path efficiency, compared to other collision avoidance algorithms.

  • Nowadays, Three dimensional printing (3DP) technique that is one of solid freeform fabrication (SFF) technology has been notable issue, and has been applied by various fields. The SFF system can fabricate three dimensional objects of solid freeform with high speed and low cost using ink jet printing technology. In this research, a SFF system to analyze 3DP process technology is developed. We applied sliding mode control with sliding perturbation observer (SMCSPO) algorithm and minimized position error to the developed SFF system. We analyzed and optimized process variables such as jetted volume, layer thickness, powder bed and so on experimentally. Also. the dimensional error of a developed SFF system is evaluated. Finally, the feasibility of application to bio manufacturing is presented through successful fabrication of teeth and cranium model.

  • Significant increase of container flows in marine terminals requires more efficient automatic port systems. This paper presents a novel routing and collision avoidance algorithm of linear motor based shuttle cars using dynamic programming (DP). The proposed DP is accomplished online for determining optimal paths for each shuttle car. We apply our algorithm to Agile port terminal in USA.
