Distributed Mobility Management Scheme for the Tactical Network (전술망을 위한 분산 이동성 관리 기법)

  • In the conventional centralized mobility management schemes, it can lead to single points of failure, occurrence of a bottleneck, since all data and control are concentrated on the mobility anchor which is located in home network. In the current research of distributed mobility management, it is doing research into distributed mobility management which is supported by distributed mobility anchors. Such schemes do not consider a failure of the mobility anchor. However, it could be an issue under tactical environment since it occur non-service problem due to anchor movement, maintenance, failure, etc. In this paper, we proposed new DMM scheme named T-DMM(Tactical-Distributed Mobility Management) which can support handover even if mobility anchor breaks down. From the numerical analysis, we evaluate signaling cost and handover latency.

  • 우수관거 시스템에서의 신뢰도 분석에 대한 기존 연구들은 시스템의 설계상에서의 각종 매개변수들에 대한 불확실성 분석에 기초하여 왔다. 그러나 본 연구에서는 동일한 설계빈도하에 설계된 우수관망이라 하더라도 관망의 노선 선정에 따라서 유출구에서의 첨두유출량 및 초과강우사상에 따른 침수 발생량이 달라질 수 있다는 점에 주목하였다. 그러므로 신뢰도 높은 우수관망을 설계하기 위해서는 이러한 침수 발생 확률을 줄일 수 있도록 하여야 하며, 이를 위해서는 관망 구성에 따라 달라지는 신뢰도를 하나의 정량화된 수치로 나타야 한다. 본 연구에서는 설계빈도를 초과하는 강우사상들에 대하여 해당 우수관망의 월류 발생 정도를 정량적으로 평가함으로써 상대적인 신뢰도를 하나의 지표로서 나타내고자 하였다. 이때 고려되는 것은 초과강우사상 발생 시 해당 관망에서의 월류 발생량 및 월류 발생 지점 개수이다. 또한 이때 고려 대상이 되는 월류량 및 월류 발생지점 수는 서로 다른 척도를 갖는 항목이므로 이에 대한 종합적인 고려를 위하여 본 연구에서는 다기준의사결정기법 중 하나인 DMM(Distance Measure Method)을 이용하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 우수관망 신뢰도의 산정 절차는 다음과 같다. step 1) 초과빈도별 월류 발생량 및 월류 발생 지점 수 산정 step 2) 빈도별 월류발생량 비율( ) 및 월류발생지점 비율($N_i$) 산정 $$V_i$$ $$V_o/V/R$$ $$N_i=N_o/N_T/R$$ 여기서, $V_i$는 적용된 강우량당 유역의 전체 유출량 대비 월류발생량을 나타내며, $N_i$는 적용된 강우량당 해당 관망의 전체 지점 수 대비 월류 발생지점 수를 나타낸다. step 3) 중심점(central point)에 대하여 DMM을 이용한 치수안전성 산정 $$Reliability\;of\;Sewer\;Networks=1-\;{(1-N_i)^2+(1-V_i)^2\atop2}$$.

  • The deployment of geographically distributed wireless sensors has greatly elevated the capability of monitoring structural health in social-overhead capital (SOC) public infrastructures. This paper deals with the utilization of a distributed mobility management (DMM) approach for the deployment of wireless sensing devices in a structural health monitoring system (SHM). Then, a wireless sensing mechanism utilizing low-energy adaptive clustering hierarchy (LEACH)-based clustering algorithm for smart sensors has been analyzed to support the seamless data transmission of structural health information which is essentially important to guarantee public safety. The clustering of smart sensors will be able to provide real-time monitoring of structural health and a filtering algorithm to boost the transmission of critical information over heterogeneous wireless and mobile networks.

  • The plastic injection molding industry is increasing pressure to reduce the cycle time in order to improve the productivity. The time of a cooling die is a large part of the cycle time. The conformal cooling channels can reduce the cooling time effectively as compared with conventional production die. It is hard to make the die with a conformal cooling channel by the conventional method. This paper introduces the method of a conformal cooling channel manufacturing by the DMT (Direct Metal Tooling) that is a new technology.

  • The metal forming behavior and defect formation in Ti-6Al-4V tube during hot backward extrusion were investigated. To predict the forming-defects such as shear band, inner cracks or surface cracks, dynamic material model(DMM) including Ziegler's instability criterion and modified Cockcroft-Latham fracture criterion(C-L model) were used. These models were coupled to the internal variables generated from FE analysis. The chilling effect and friction indicated a great influence on the deformation mode of the tube and the formation of surface cracks. The simulation results for the backward extrusion were compared with the experimental observations.

  • High Temperature deformation behavior of newly developed beta-gamma TiAl alloy was investigated in this study. The optimum processing condition was investigated with the aid of Dynamic Materials Model (DMM). Processing maps representing the efficiency of power dissipation for microstructural evolution and instability were constructed utilizing the results of hot compression test at temperatures ranging from $1000^{\circ}C$ to $1200^{\circ}C$ and strain rate ranging from $10^{-4}/s$ to $10^2/s$. The Artificial Neural Network (ANN) simulation was adopted to consider the deformation heating. With the help of processing map and microstructural analysis, the optimum processing condition was presented and the role of $\beta$ phase was also discussed in this study.

  • The hot forming process of an exhaust CAM for vessel engine was designed by finite element(FE) simulation and experimental analysis. An aim of process design was to achieve the near-net shaped CAM forgings by hot forging process. Based on the compression test results of the low alloy steel, power dissipation map was generated using the the dynamic materials model(DMM). From the map, the initial heating temperature was determined as 1200oC. FE analysis was simulated to predict the formation of forging defects and deformed shape with different forging designs. Optimum process design suggested in this work was made by comparing with the CAM for vessel engine manufactured by actual forging process.

  • In this present study, an attempt was made to determine the deformation mode of the Zr-Ti-Cu-Ni-Be bulk metallic glass by compression test over a wide range of temperatures and strain rates. From the results, empirical deformation map could be constructed including the boundaries of different deformation modes. Considering power dissipation map and instability map developed on the basis of the Dynamic Materials Model (DMM), the processing map for extrusion could also be constructed. In addition, the macroscopic formability of this BMG alloy has also been examined through the extrusion in laboratory scale within undercooled liquid state. From the results of macroscopic extrusion formability, both deformation map and processing map present good criteria to determine optimal forming conditions.

Prediction of High Temperature Plastic Deformation Variables on Al 6061 Alloy (Al 6061 합금의 고온 소성변형 조건의 예측)

  • The high temperature behavior of Al 6061 alloy was characterized by the hot torsion test in the temperature ranges of 400∼550℃ and the strain rate ranges of 0.05∼5/sec. To decide optimum deformation condition, three types of deformation maps were individually made from the critical strain (εc). deformation resistance(σp) and deformation efficiency (η). The critical strain(εc) for dynamic recrystallization (DRX) which was decided from the inflection point of strain hardening rate(θ) - effective stress (σ) curve was about 0.65 times of peak strain (εp). The relationship among deformation resistance (peak stress, σp), strain rate (ε), and temperature (T) could be expressed by ε=2.9×1013[sinh(0.0256σp]7.3exp (-216,000/RT). The deformation efficiency (η)which was calculated on the basis of the dynamic materials model (DMM) showed high values at the condition of 500∼550℃, 5/sec for 100% strain. The results from three deformation maps were compared with microstructures. The best condition of plastic deformation could be determined as 500℃ and 5/sec.

Optimum process design suggested in this work was made by comparing with the CAM for vessel engine manufactured by actual forging process.
