Design of Common DLI Message Module based on API for the System based on Construction of the Korean Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Interface Protocol (한국형 무인항공기 연동 프로토콜 기반 시스템 구축을 위한 API 기반 공통 DLI 메시지 모듈 설계)

  • Recently, it is reported that the Korean Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) interface protocol (K-4586) based on STANAG-4586 is being developed to secure interoperability between UAVs. The core elements of the K-4586-based Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) are the Core UAV Control System (CUCS), Vehicle Specific Module (VSM), Data Link Interface (DLI), and C4I systems. In UAS based on K-4586, the DLI function for transmitting and receiving messages to link UAVs is included in VSM and CUCS respectively. The Generator/Analyzer (G/A) tool is an apparatus that is developed for protocol conformance verification for VSM and CUCS, and G/A tools with DLI message transmitting and receiving should be developed separately. Core applications (VSM, CUCS, DLI) and G/A tools based on K-4586 may be developed independently depending on the developers. If the DLI message modules are different for each developer, the scope and results of protocol conformance verification will be dissimilar, and some problems may happen during system integration. In this study, common DLI message module based on the API was designed to provide the DLI message transmitting and receiving function necessary to the development of core applications and the protocol conformance verification tool of based on K-4586. When applying the proposed common DLI message module, it can be expected to shorten the UAS system development period and reduce costs, and ensure conformance of protocol. In this paper, the design and implementation method for the common DLI message module based on API was proposed and the results of functional test was described.

A Study on $Digoxin^{(R)}-like$ Immunoreactivity and Its Nature in Patients with Chronic Renal Failure and Neonates (만성 신부전환자 및 신생아 혈청에서 $Digoxin^{(R)}$과 교차 면역반응을 보이는 물질에 관한 연구)

  • $Digoxin^{(R)}$을 복용하고 있지 않는 각27명의 만성 신부전 환자 및 신생아의 혈청에서 Gammacoat $Digoxin^{(R)}$ kit와 Amerlex Digoxin $RIA^{(R)}$ kit를 이용하여 digoxin과 교차 면역반응을 보이는 내인성 물질(이하 DLI: Digoxin-like Immunoreactivity)을 측정하여 다음의 결과를 얻었다. 1) Gammacoat $Digoxin^{(R)}$ kit로 측정시 27명의 만성 신부전 환자중 12명에서 신생아의 경우는 27명 전원에서 측정 하한치 이상의 DLI가 검출된 반면, Amerlex Digoxin $RIA^{(R)}$ kit로는 1명을 제외한 양 군의 전원에서 DLI가 관찰되지 않았다. 만성 신부전 환자에서 Gammacoat $Digoxin^{(R)}$ kit로 측정된 DLI와 혈청 BUN/Creatinine 값 사이에는 유의한 상관 관계가 없었다. 2) 만성 신부전 환자 및 신생아의 pooled sera에 가한 digoxin의 수거율은 각각 49%, 40%였다. 3) 만선 신부전 환자 및 신생아의 pooled sera에서 측정되는 DLI의 희석 curve는 정상 희석 curve와 다르다고 할 수 없었다. 4) 만성 신부전 환자의 pooled sera에서 측정되는 DLI의 16%, 그리고 신생아의 pooled sera 에서 측정되는 DLI의 20%가 trypsin에 sensitive하였다. 5) 만성 신부전 환자의 pooled sera에서 측정되는 DLI의 56%가, 그리고 신생아의 pooled sera에서 측정되는 DLI의 경우는 전체의 20%미만이 methylene chloride로 추출되었다. 이상에서 만성 신부전 환자 및 신생아의 혈청에서는 방사면역 kit의 증류에 따라 DLI가 검출되며 그 실체를 알기 위해서는 더욱 연구가 필요하다고 할 수 있었다.

Controlling Photo-Environment of Ginseng Cultivation Using Agricultural Weather Sensor Data (농업기상 센서 데이터를 활용한 인삼재배 광환경 조절 연구)

  • Photosynthetically active radiation flux density (PPFD) and daily light integral (DLI) values related to plant photosynthesis were obtained using the sunlight time and insolation data points in the agricultural weather sensor data for Jinan-gun, Jeollabuk-do, Korea from 2016 to 2020. The objective was to optimize the photo-environmental conditions for cultivating ginseng. The range of average monthly sunshine duration was 395.5-664.1 min, with the longest duration observed in June. The range of average annual accumulated daily insolation was 11.98-17.65 MJ·m-2. The range of average daily external DLI calculated from the insolation and solar time data was 22.3-36.1 mol·m-2·d-1, and the annual cumulative DLI was 8,156-13,175 mol·m-2·d-1. Both the insolation and DLI values were the highest in 2016 and lowest in 2020. Based on the PPFD required for ginseng growth (111-185 µmol·m-2·s-1), the monthly average daily DLI and monthly cumulative DLI were 3.51-5.87 and 82-228 mol·m-2·d-1, respectively. The range of five-year average value for the external monthly cumulative DLI was 298-1,459 mol·m-2·d-1, and the monthly cumulative DLI values when a black double shading film and blue-white shading film were applied were 101-496 and 36-175 mol·m-2·d-1, respectively. A comparative analysis of DLI values indicated that shading was required to ginseng growth throughout the year under natural light. When the black double shading film was used, shading was required from March to October. When the blue-white shading film was applied from April to August, (i.e., the period with active ginseng growth) the appropriate DLI for ginseng growth could be continuously maintained. Regional weather differences due to climate change are gradually increasing, and even in one region, monthly and cumulative DLI values are different every year. Therefore, in order to implement a precise agricultural environment for ginseng cultivation, precise analysis and continuous research using agricultural weather sensor big data is required.

  • This paper proposes an image processing algorithm for detecting obstacles on road-lane using DLI(disparity of lane-related information) that is generated by stereo images acquired from dual cameras mounted on a moving vehicle. The DLI is a disparity that is acquired using single lane information from road lane detection. For the purpose to reduce processing time, we use small blocks obtained by edge-histogram based blocking logic. This algorithm detects moving objects such as preceding vehicles and obstacles. The proposed algorithm has been implemented in a personal computer with the road image data of a typical highway. We successfully performed experiments under a wide variety of road conditions without changing parameter values or adding human intervention. Experimental results also showed that the proposed DLI is quite successful.

  • 본 논문은 차량 내에 설치된 두 대의 CCD 카메라를 이용하여 도로 영상으로부터 주행차선내에 있는 장애물을 인식하는 새로운 알고리즘을 제시한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 주행하는 차선과 관련이 있는 차선 정보만을 이용하여, 스테레오 영상에서 변이도를 추출할 수 있는 변이도 함수인 DLI(Disparity of lane-related information)를 정의하였다. DLI는 선행 차량과 같은 장애물은 주위보다 상대적으로 큰 에지값을 가진다는 특성을 이용하여, 주행차선 내에 있는 장애물의 유무를 검출하고 위치를 유추한다. 제안된 방법은 특징점의 탐색공간을 현저히 줄여 실시간 처리문제를 해결한 수 있는 장점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 DLI를 이용한 선행차량 인식기법의 성능을 검증하기 위하여 다양한 환경의 도로영상에 알고리즘을 적용하여 제안한 방법의 우수함을 확인하였다.

Instability of Evaporation Fronts in the Interstellar Medium

  • The neutral component of the interstellar medium (ISM) is segregated into the cold neutral medium (CNM) and warm neutral medium (WNM) as a result of thermal instability. It was found that the CNM--WNM evaporation interface, across which the CNM undergoes thermal expansion, is linearly unstable to corrugational disturbances, in complete analogy with the Darrieus-Landau instability (DLI) in terrestrial flames. To explore dynamical consequences of the DLI in the ISM, we perform a linear stability analysis of the DLI including the effect of thermal conduction as well as nonlinear hydrodynamic simulations. We find that the DLI is suppressed at short length scales via heat transport. The linear growth time of the fastest growing mode is proportional to the square of the evaporation flow speed of the CNM relative to the interface and is typically >10 Myr. In the nonlinear stage, perturbations grow into cusp-like structure protruding toward the WNM, and soon reach a steady state where the evaporation rate is increased by a factor of 2 compared to the initial state. We demonstrate that the amplitude of the interface distortion and enhancement in evaporation rate are determined primarily by the density ratio between the CNM and WNM. Given quite a long growth time and highly subsonic velocities at saturation, the DLI is unlikely to play an important role in the ISM dynamics.

  • 본 논문에서는 차선관련 정보의 변이도함수(DLI, Disparity of Lane-related Information)를 기반으로 하는 선행차량 인식 알고리즘을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 알고리즘을 이용하여, 주행차선내에 있는 선행차량의 유무 검출과 위치 유추 및 선행차량 인식을 수행한다. DLI를 이용하는 방법은 특징점의 탐색공간을 현저히 줄여 실시간 처리문제를 해결한 수 있는 장점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 제안된 선행차량 인식알고리즘의 성능을 검증하기 위하여 다양한 환경의 도로영상에 알고리즘을 적용하여, 제안된 선행차량 인식기법의 우수함을 확인하였다.
