혼합학습 환경에서 비만학생 교육 프로그램의 효과 (The Effects of Obese Elementary Students Education Program in Blended Learning Environment)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to develop an obese elementary students education program available for blended learning environments, which refered to a combination of ofline and online learning. And it's also intended to verify its efect to bost the eficiency of obese schol children's learning about obesity.Methods : The subjects were 52(experimental group=21, control group=31 ) fourth, fifth and sixth graders who OVA. Results : The obese elementary students education program tailored to blended learning setting wasn't more conducive to lowering the obesity level of the obese students t han the typical obese elementary students education program. But the obese elementary students education was more efective than the typical one in improving the knowle dge of the obese students about obesity, and in enhancing the academic self-eficacy of the children. Conclusion : As the obese elementary students education program tailored to blended learning setting was effective in boosting the relevant knowledge and academic self-efficacy of the children, sustained research efforts should be put into developing obese elementary students education programs available for both online and offline to help students to access information on obesity and manage it better.

Identification of ${\omega}$-Aminotransferase from Caulobacter crescentus and Sitedirected Mutagenesis to Broaden Substrate Specificity

  • A putative ${\omega}$-aminotransferase gene, cc3143 (aptA), from Caulobacter crescentus was screened by bioinformatical tools and overexpressed in E. coli, and the substrate specificity of the ${\omega}$-aminotransferase was investigated. AptA showed high activity for short-chain ${\beta}$-amino acids. It showed the highest activity for 3-amino-n-butyric acid. It showed higher activity toward aromatic amines than aliphatic amines. The 3D model of the ${\omega}$-aminotransferase was constructed by homology modeling using a dialkylglycine decarboxylase (PDB ID: 1DGE) as a template. Then, the ${\omega}$-aminotransferase was rationally redesigned to increase the activity for 3-amino-3-phenylpropionic acid. The mutants N285A and V227G increased the relative activity for 3-amino-3-phenylpropionic acid to 3-amino-n-butyric acid by 11-fold and 3-fold, respectively, over that of wild type.

Physiological and proteomic analysis of young rice leaves grown under nitrogen-starvation conditions

  • Rice grown in anaerobic waterlogged soil accumulates ammonium as a major source of nitrogen (N). We have compared the physiological symptoms of rice seedlings subjected to N-starvation stress with those receiving sufficient N, based on measurements of shoot/root length and weight and an analysis of protein expression patterns. N starvation marginally increased root growth but notably decreased shoot biomass. N uptake was reduced by >50% in the roots and shoots of N-starved seedlings. To better understand the mechanism of N starvation in rice, we performed a comparative proteome analysis of proteins isolated from rice leaves. Twenty-five differentially expressed proteins were analyzed by matrixassisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight (TOF) mass spectrometry and electron spray ionization quadrupole TOF. Functional analysis of the N-starvation response proteins suggested their involvement in protein synthesis and fate, metabolism, and defense. These results indicate that these proteins may play important roles in regulating the plant's complex adaptation responses for N use during N starvation. The proteins may be useful for further characterization of protein function in plant N nutrition.

화재를 입은 콘크리트 교각의 손상에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Damage to a Concrete Bridge Pier due to Fire)

  • 본 연구에서는 유조차의 추락으로 인해 화재를 입은 콘크리트 교각의 손상 정도에 대하여 조사하였다. 화재에 의한 콘크리트의 조직 변성 및 파손 깊이는 유한요소법으로 계산하여 현장 실측치와 비교분석하였고, 철근의 손상도는 인장시험을 통하여 파악하였다. 유한요소법에 의한 계산에서는 콘크리트의 열 전달 계수 ${\alpha}=2000W/m^2{\cdot}K$ 콘크리트의 초기 온도 $T_0=5^{\circ}C$ 그리고 화재 지속 시간 t=30분으로 고정하였고, 화재 온도 $T_a=500~800^{\circ}C$로 변화시켰다. 계산 결과 콘크리트 조직 변성 깊이는 1.5~4.1cm 그리고 압축 파열 깊이는 8.7~10.1cm로서 각각 실측치인 2~4cm 및 8~10cm와 근접한 결과를 얻었다. 그리고 화재후 철근의 인장강도는 별 손실이 없는 것으로 나타났다.

황해의 저서군집내에서 다모류의 중요성과 종조성 (Quantitative importance and species composition of polychaetes in the benthic community of the Yellow Sea)

  • 본 연구는 1982년 8월부터 1986년 2월 까지 5년에 걸쳐 계절별로 한반도에 인접한 황해의 저서다모류를 대상으로 정량 채집하여 다모류의 중요성과 종조성을 파악하였다. 다모류의 비중은 전 저서동물군 중에서 가장 높은 $35.1\~46.4\%$의 조성률을 나타내었고, 생체양에 있어서는 극피동물이나 연체동물군이 우점군으로 나타났으나 그들의 계절적 변화 폭이 일정하지 않고 매우 다양했다. 채집도구에 따른 다모류의 비중은 드레지(dre-dge)를 사용할 경우 채이기(grab)의 경우보다 약간 낮은 조성률을 나타내었다. 이는 드레지의 경우가 훨씬 더 퇴적물의 표층부분만을 예인하기 때문이었으며 다모류의 조성률도 다소 낮은 경향을 보였다. 본 연구기간 중 출현한 다모류는 모두 141종으로 나타났으며 이 해역에서의 대표종은Spiophanes bormbyx, Ampharete arctica, Geniada maulata, Nephtys caeca, Nothria iridescens이었다.

웹기반 음주예방 교육 (Web-Based Alcohol Preventive Education)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study is to test the effect of the web-b ased alcohol preventive education for ndicate the model of alcohol preventive education for students spreading al over the family and the comunity.Methods : This study was performed on the 1 public and 1 private eleme ntary school students who are the six grade in Seongdong-gu, Seoul. The number of experimental gr oup was 117 and control group's number was 131, totaled 248. eeks. The pre- and the post-test for web-based alcohol preventive education were tested about knowle dge and attitude toward drinking by questionnaire. The data analysis was done using SPS/Win 12.0 p rogram.Results:The results of this study are as follows;1. Compared with control group, experimental group which was educated the web-based alcohol preventive icant diference in the knowledge toward drinking.2. Compared with control group, also the experimental group w as improved with significant diference in attitude toward drinking after the education.3. In control group, female students' knowledge of drinking w as more increased than male students. And the he group which experienced drinking.Conclusions : The web-based alcohol preventi ve education is worth as a int ervention to get positive influence for the health education. Especially in female studen ts who didn't met with drinking, early education for alcohol prevention is very important. Therefore i t will be helpful that coperate with district ofice ithin the comunity for becoming established the controled drinking pattern.

도로교의 간이 내하력평가를 위한 충격계수의 산출 (Impact Factor for Safety Evaluation of Highway Bridges)

  • 본 연구에서는 단순 지지된 일반도로교의 통행차량에 의해서 발생하는 충격계수에 대해서 연구를 수행하였다. 최근에 화서 충격계수는 이론 및 실험적인 연구가 수행됨으로써 상당한 관심이 집중되고 있다. 현행, 국내 도로교 시방서에서 사용하는 충격계수는 지간길이에 따라 감소하는 식으로서 규정되어 있으며, 최대 30%이하로 제한하고 있다. 그러나, 현장실험결과에 의하여 동적하중효과는 대부분 현행 규정보다 낮게 나타나고 있으며, 시방서에서와 같이 지간길이에 다라 일정한 경향을 보여주지 못하고, 포장상태를 포함하는 노면조도에 의해서 큰 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 현장 실험결과를 바탕으로 노면조도의 상태를 3등급으로 분류하여 도로교의 간이 내하력평가시 사용할 수 있도록 각 등급에 해당하는 충격계수를 결정하였다. 끝으로, 본 연구의 결과는 향후 현존 교량의 내하력평가시 유용한 자료로 사용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

원주지역 여중생들의 BMI와 이상식이습관, 영양지식과의 관련성 (A Study for the Relationship between the BMI and the Eating Disorder, Nutritional Knowledge among Female Middle School Girls in Won Ju Province)

  • This study was carried out to find the relationship between the eating disorder associated with BMI(body mass index) and nutrition knowledge by surveying 476 middle school girl students in Won Ju, Gang-Won Province, South Korea. BMI is a standard suggested for oriental people and it was differentiated into the underweight, the normal weight and the overweight. To determine the eating disorder, EAT-26(Eating Attitude Test-26) was used and in order to find out the level of nutrition knowledge DGE (Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Ernahrung) was used after some modifications and supplementations. And the results are as follows; 1) Out of the students surveyed, 22% are in underweight group, 64% are in normal weight group and just 12% are in overweight group. Except the students in underweight group, most of the surveyed students wish to lower the weight below normal weight. 2) Relationship was found between BMI and EAT-26 score that is related with eating disorder behavior, Total score was higher in overweight group than in underweight and normal weight group (P<0.001). When the score for individual question about eating disorder is considered in detail, the score for the questions preoccupied with the weight reduction was higher in overweight group than in underweight and normal weight group(P<0.001). For the questions about bulimia there was no difference according to BMI, however, for the questions about restraining food intake the score was high in overweight group(P<0.001). 3) The score of nutrition knowledge in line with BMI was different. It was found that the total score and the score for the questions about fat, calorie requirement, and calorie content in food were different. The total score showed the highest in overweight group in comparison with the ones in underweight and normal weight group. (P<0.05). Out of maccronutrient like carbohydrate, fat and protein, only the fat showed significant difference according to BMI and it was lower in overweight group than in underweight and normal weight group.(P<0.05) Out of the questions about calorie requirement, significant difference was found in the score for the questions about calorie requirement and calorie content in food. It was lower in overweight group than in underweight and normal weight group (p<0.05).

임신 말기 임신부의 영아 돌보기 지식에 관한 연구 (A Study on Third-trimester Gravidas' Konwledge of Infant Care Activity)

  • The purpose of this study was to measure the degree of gravidas' knowledge of infant care activity, and to identify the factors influencing the difference of gravidas' knowledge. The subjects of this study consisted of 159 gravida visited 2 general hospitals, 2 OB/GY clinics and 2 midwives' clinics in J city for anenatal care. The data were collected from December 1 to 30, J.989. The instrument used for this study was true false type question which was developed by investigator through literature review. Data were analyzed by percentage, mean, t-test and ANOVA on significant difference with SPSS program. The results of this study were, summarized as follow: 1) The degree of gravidas' knowledge of infant care activity was 36.75, the degree of gravidas' know ledge of physical care activicy was 16.70, and the degree of gravidas' knowledge of psychosocial care activity was 20.00. 2) Among the physical care activity knowledge items, the diaper should be changed whenever it is soiled, $\lceil$shortly after feeding is over, bathing is bad$\rfloor$, $\lceil$gently patted or stroked on the back when bubbling$\rfloor$, $\lceil$10 minutes time in bathing is appropriate$\rfloor$, $\lceil$infant is crying whenever he is hungry per 3-4 hours$\rfloor$, and "room humidity controled 60 percent, more or less> were over a' percentage of 80 of right answer. From these results, it may be concluded that gravidas' knowledge of infant care activity is moderate level, and gravidas' knowledge of psychosocial care activity is greater than that of physical care activity. Also prenatal nursing educations should focus on subjects who have lower percentage of right answer in infant care activity knowledge items.dge items.
