수직보조전계 인가방식에 의한 전기영동 전착막의 제작 (Fabrication of EPD Films by Applying a.c Field Assisted Method)

  • The electrophoretic deposition (EPD) technique have been applied to fabricating superconducting films and wires in former researches of our Lab. However, the particles of EPD films were usually deposited random1y on the metal substrate, the vertically combined a.c and d.c fields were applied to the EPD electrodes for orienting and densifying the particles of high $T_{c}$ superconducting deposition film on the substrate metal. Therefore, the surface states of EPD films by this combined fields could be oriented and affect to the electric properties increasing of superconducting films. The proposed method modified by a.c. assisted field to the conventional electrophoresis system was suitable to obtain improved properties with particle oriented deposition and densification.

ESTIMATING THE OPERATOR'S PERFORMANCE TIME OF EMERGENCY PROCEDURAL TASKS BASED ON A TASK COMPLEXITY MEASURE

  • It is important to understand the amount of time required to execute an emergency procedural task in a high-stress situation for managing human performance under emergencies in a nuclear power plant. However, the time to execute an emergency procedural task is highly dependent upon expert judgment due to the lack of actual data. This paper proposes an analytical method to estimate the operator's performance time (OPT) of a procedural task, which is based on a measure of the task complexity (TACOM). The proposed method for estimating an OPT is an equation that uses the TACOM as a variable, and the OPT of a procedural task can be calculated if its relevant TACOM score is available. The validity of the proposed equation is demonstrated by comparing the estimated OPTs with the observed OPTs for emergency procedural tasks in a steam generator tube rupture scenario.

  • Human factors still plays a significant role in railway accidents. The accidents often resulted from multiple causes of hardware failures and human errors. So to ensure the safety of railway operations, human error should be effectively prevented and managed. Among several factors influencing human performance, task load (or task complexity) is well known as a major contributor to human error. In order to reduce the potential of human error, a systematic analysis should be undertaken to evaluate task load and to reduce it by modifying task process and/or education&training. In this paper, we proposed a systematic framework for railway industry to perform task analysis and to evaluate task load, and applied it to KTX operational tasks. According to the application study, we identified 14 generic task types of KTX operation. And also this paper shows the quantitative task load of those generic tasks which were analyzed by NASA-TLX method.

병원도산분석에 기초한 효율적인 병원지원방안에 관한 연구 (Policy Direction for Subsidizing Hospitals based on Technical Efficiency)

  • This study used the Data Envelopment Analysis, a mathematical linear programming method, to evaluate cost efficiency of hospitals in Korea. DEA method was applied to 244 hospitals: 31 bankrupt hospitals and 213 survived hospitals. Among the 213 sound hospitals, 11 hospitals showed efficiency score 100, but more than 40 hospitals recorded efficiency scores lower than 60. This result implies that more hospitals can be bankrupt in the restructuring process of the industry within 1-2 years. Among the 31 bankrupt hospitals, the highest technical efficiency score was 0.821 and 11 hospitals showed technical efficiency lower than 0.6. This implies that selective financial support based on cost efficiency by the government will be valuable to prevent bankruptcy of these hospitals. The logistic analysis showed statistically significant relationship between bankruptcy and efficiency of hospitals in Korea.

High $T_c$ Superconductor Applications and Thick Film Preparation

  • High $T_c$ superconducting lines will be applied as key materials in the areas of power transmission line; magnetic levitation of vehicle; magnetic separation; magnetic energy storage and marine propulsion. A combination method of electrophoresis deposition and zone-melting for preparation of YBaCuO tape is proposed. The submicron particle powder of YBaCuO made by sol-gel method is used in the electrophoresis process. A 40∼50 ${\mu}\textrm{m}$ thickness of YBaCuO film on Ag plate could be deposited in about three minutes. After deposition the film is rolled and heat treated in order to increase the density and the adhesion of the film to the Ag plate. Silver(Ag) and lead oxide(PbO) were added in the YBaCuO powder in order to reduce its melting point. The YBaCuO coating with controlled Ag and PbO contents was preliminarily zone-melted at about $945^{\circ}C$.

  • In this paper, the variable producing conditions of YBCO superconducting powder by use of sol-gel method was investigated. YBCO superconducting powder which was prepared by sol-gel method was shown the characteristic gel formation, particle size and its properties under variable preparation conditions, such as pH, drying and processing time, and powder heat treatment, etc.

  • The important parts of material science in the film preparation fields and sol-gel technology are presented. For the present work, a series of amorphous films was prepared in air by sol-gel method without using some alkoxide stabilizer, which reduces the reactivity of the metal alkoxides. The choice of precursors can affect the chemical-reaction kinetics, microstructures and properties of the product. In this report author compared the crystallization behavior of oxide functional films derived from the same precursors, stressing the influence of experiment conditions and where it was possible to obtain the uniform amorphous or crystalline dielectric films. A short analysis of sol-gel technology and thin film methods about development of dielectric materials has been given.

  • The recent trains are almost being operated by the mechanical propulsion force to drive the gear and wheel with the traction motor. However Magnetic Levitation Vehicle is differently operated. Magnetic Levitation Vehicle is applied with Linear Induction Motor(LIM) that has many advantage like to high capability of going up to slope, low noise, easy to control of speed. So domestic and many advanced countries are interested in Magnetic Levitation Vehicle and they have been studying about it continuously. Thus this paper is studied the LIM test method of static states and guess the optimum driving point by characteristic of static states for LIM. The test items are measurement of thrust force by changed air gap, measurement of thrust force and normal force by changed slip frequency etc.

  • 우리나라에서도 2010년 1월 25일 지식경제부의 "Smart Grid 로드맵" 확정으로 Smart Grid 사업이 진행 중이다. 그러나 정보통신 환경에서 발생하고 있는 다양한 공격에 대한 보안위협이 Smart Meter에서도 발생하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 Smart Grid에 사용되는 Smart Meter 공격을 분석하고 Smart Meter 방어 방안을 제시한다.

  • The experimental investication wax performed to study fitness of casting crowns with various investment widely used in Korea. 36 wax patterns were invested and casted according to the regular casting method. The result were as follow : 1. Casting with cristobalite investments of Shofu were seen apart, 0.04mm the tightest space in the linguo and bucco-cervical margin. And the largest deviation, 0.1mm was shown in the central groove 0.1mm was shown in the central groove area of occlusal surface(Jensen Metal) 2. Casting with cristobalite investments of kerr were seen apart, 0.04mm the tightest space in the linguo and bucco-cervical margin And the largest deviation, 0.09 was shown in the central groove area of occlusal surface(Jensen Metal) 3. Casting with Quartz investments of G-C were seen apart, 0.04mm the tightest space in the linguo-cervical margin, And the largest deviation, 0.1mm was shown in the central groove area of occlusal surface(Jensen Metal) 4. Casting with cristobalite investments of shofu were seen apart, 0.01mm the tightest space in the linguo-cervical margin, And the largest deviation, 0.03mm was shown in the central groove of occusal surface(Bo-sung A type gold alloy) 5. Casting with cristobalite investments of kerr showed the best fintness in linguo-cervical margin.
